  1. Maybe call the Sheriff that deputy reports to and make your concerns known. I’ve always wondered how LE agencies handle such situations. I’m sure in the more rural counties of our great state those guns have already been “taken care of”.
  2. My understanding is it sets federal standards for identification, primarily driver’s licenses, but it might apply to other forms as well, I don’t know. That I don’t have much of a problem with however, it is one step closer to a “national ID” that I do have issues with. I do know that one is not going to get on a plane without one and who knows what else.
  3. Take to your swooning couch, lol.
  4. Loading up some 10 gauge BP shells sounds a lot easier to me.
  5. Do you have to tell people that it’s supposed to say 619 when they see it?
  6. On the GB homepage: 1. Click advanced next to the search bar. 2. Scroll down and select Tennessee from the USA State drop-down. 3. Click search. That's the generic first example I gave that returns everything in TN. Point is on the advanced search you can click whatever options you like and it builds the url string with search parameters. If you generally search the same way every time you can just save that url and not have to go through all the motions. So in this example we have all used guns in TN (1271 as of right now): https://www.gunbroker.com/Guns-Firearms/search?Condition=4&State=TN&Sort=13&PageSize=48 If you click on that link, the search filters are already set for "used" and "TN". Now, if you type in S&W in the search bar those filters are still set and you have 137 (as of now) used S&W's in TN. It also looks like if you have an account you can save searches as well.
  7. If three clicks is too much you can always book mark the search as a favorite: Everything: https://www.gunbroker.com/All/search?State=TN&Sort=13&PageSize=48 Used guns only: https://www.gunbroker.com/Guns-Firearms/search?Condition=4&State=TN&Sort=13&PageSize=48
  8. Damn shame it’s gotten to this point. Not that Hickok is the be-all, end-all of the gun community, but I agree with him. The NRA needs to straighten out and do it now. They cannot afford ANY type of internal strife, nor can gun owners.
  9. Driving around nekkid is king of the road, lol.
  10. Every time I see this post pop up the title makes me think a fella’s planning to have an accident.
  11. I think it’s a shame we need it but we do. Generally, I’m not too keen on any more behavior modification laws, but this is different. People operating a vehicle need to be focused on driving and not causing fatal accidents, damaging the property of others, and generally inconveniencing every one else trying to get somewhere. Of course enforcement is not the question or even an issue. Cops can’t enforce most of the laws on the books anyway, there simply aren’t enough of them. The point is to make people of aware and most will (might) eventually adjust their (bad) habits on the road.
  12. Don’t be driving around holding a phone. The “hands free” law goes into effect.
  13. Steve Cohen sure has been quiet the past few days. This is in his district after all but I imagine he’s too busy towing the party line and obsessing over TDS.
  14. It’s a $10 part but strange it malfunctioned. Go buy a $15 or $20 one from somebody else.
  15. As in all situations like this it’s always best to keep up with news sources local to the event. The latest: https://wreg.com/2019/06/13/official-warrant-for-man-shot-by-marshals-related-to-shooting-in-hernando/
  16. Maybe it’s because they’re plastic.
  17. Read the thread and follow the links, then you’ll know.
  18. Print all that out, take it to the LGS and tell them you’re only going to pay $14.89 instead of $14.99 for a box of ammo, lol.
  19. RIP Dr. John. This is with The Band who, while excellent, just can’t get the funk like a proper New Orleans band, but is still excellent IMO.
  20. Some Testor’s model paints should do the trick. If you want something temporary just to try out your scheme get a box of crayons and fill in the areas, firmly, with wax.
  21. I wish Magpul would decide on what they’re going to make. They’ve got three different generations in production: M2, M3, and M4. Make up your minds already.

According to the specs they’re not much lighter than a steel SS. Where did you lay hands on one?
