  1. The PPK/s 22’s are made in Germany by Umarex (as has already been mentioned). Walther Arms (US) is based in Fort Smith, AR. They import the pistols. Guns do not get imported without a US name on them. The right side is stamped: Walther Arms Fort Smith, AR
  2. Or Berkeley liberals? Regardless, I am sick and damn tired of CC security breaches. “Checking your statements and credit report” is poor recompense for having to deal with such a violation of one’s business.
  3. I’ve been jonesing for a .22 “Walther” for quite some time and have been watching the prices on these drop the past couple of years. Thing is I already have a po’ man’s James Bond gun and it’s a dandy. Bersa Thunder .22 that eats Remington Golden Bullets like candy, lol.
  4. Sounds like the same RK crowd that tables the Knoxville shows make the circuit all the way down there, lol.
  5. And come apart in the process.
  6. People have been screaming for a 9mm EZ since the .380 came out. I remain on the side of physics. How is a high pressure round going to work in a pistol an old lady can operate?
  7. Are y’all really going to rehash this again? That is the inevitable result of bringing up Zimmerman.

    Glock 17 Mags

Yes, and they should actually fall out when you hit the eject button.
  9. Of the two options I vote Ruger simply based on my long ownership of a Mark II 5.5” target model. Never had the opportunity to handle a Model 41. If I were to go full TGO you I would present an option, lol. You could have bought 3 S&W Victory’s at Academy last weekend (and gotten $140 in gift cards for ammo) for the price of one 41. They aren’t pretty but I swear it’s on par with the Ruger.
  10. Did the Mec-Gar magazine work? They are some of the best aftermarket mags on the market and are in fact OEM for some big name companies. 1911’s are heavy, regardless of who makes them and 9mm versions are even heavier.
  11. Well, the device worked.
  12. Don’t give up hope just yet. Eliminate the basics before changing everything around and introducing new problems.
  13. No. And replacing a bunch of other stuff that has nothing to do with the problem won’t help either.
  14. Do you have some scope covers that the elastic cords holding them together and on the scope have deteriorated to the point of being useless? You can easily replace it by visiting the WalMart sewing department and buying 5 yards of the stuff for $1.97. This may not be news to some but I’m rather pleased with myself today, lol.
  15. Sounds like a great day. So you got a 6.5 and a .30 something. What did everyone else get?
  16. Very true and somebody else might end up cussing you for your “stuff” if they have to deal with it.
  17. No one at all.
  18. Sounds like he has been on The Man’s radar for years. I doubt blowing #### up is the reason but it may have been a catalyst for scrutiny, if you want to believe that. There still remains the unsolved murder of his business partner that he has hanging over him. He didn’t get busted for a sack of weed, he was busted for having a highly concentrated THC weed derivative mailed to him in GA. As absurd and draconian federal laws are regarding MJ, he should have known better. He paid dearly from a monetary standpoint for something I am of the opinion of he could have avoided...but on the other hand is he really entirely to blame?
  19. Definitely nothing on par with an old S&W. I think it’s probably a “you need to see one for yourself” kinda situation. I actually saw one today at a LGS and it’s defiantly not glossy or bright, just a nice mid-range blue. If you were to slick one up with a silicon cloth while admiring it, I imagine the bluing looks closer to what it should.
  20. They are the basic Ruger blue. Nothing fancy. BTW, I have the 5.5" SS .357. It's kinda shiney.
  21. There comes a point in every man’s life where they need to ponder on what they’ve accumulated and what is going to happen to it. Do you start liquidating while you can and recoup or leave it all to heirs who will let it go for nothing?
  22. If the rifle is primarily for deer hunting go down to the local WalMart, big-box sporting goods store, or whoever sells the cheapest ammo more than capable of taking a deer, or anything else, at any distance. Note the availability and prices. I bet what they have starts with 30.
  23. What kind of shotgun? Is simply buying a new barrel threaded for chokes a possibility?
  24. Very nice.
  25. Sounds like a double stack Para. Mec-gar makes those as well.
