  1. I’m sure precious metals and coins are fine for bartering if you’re trading with someone of the same mindset. Liquidity on the other hand is an entirely different matter. If you want to turn it into cash you are not going to get what you think it’s worth.
  2. Not on a Glock, but I recently put a Venom 3 MOA on a S&W Victory and am very pleased. I also am seriously cheap but when Palmetto State started selling them for $179.99 with free shipping I couldn’t resist.
  3. That’s genius type stuff right there.
  4. Used to be that shipping costs offset the sales tax paid buying locally. That is no longer the case. However, online shopping in quantity is often still of the best option from a price and selection standpoint. Check out the offerings from SGAMMO.
  5. Never knew until today that Peart wrote the lyrics for most Rush songs.
  6. Truth, but the Sig Romeo 5 previously mentioned is excellent if you have astigmatism. I do, and see a fairly crisp dot with the Romeo.
  7. Don’t know about .380+p but I do know that European made ammo in that caliber (and many others) is generally loaded hotter than American made.
  8. You’re still gonna want a proper mechanical rear sight if you go with a red dot in case the optic fails during operations. Something like a Magpul MBUS or whatever variety of rear flip-up you like. There are tons of choices.
  9. RIP Neil Peart.
  10. You’re going to need a rear sight. Please get one before you go to the range. It will save you and everyone else around a lot of frustration.
  11. Oh yeah, it’s the cornerstone of proving the AK’s superiority in ease of operation amongst untrained heathens.
  12. Whenever the discussion of AK reliability and durability comes up the old motor oil bootlace story is thrown out. I’ve heard it from veterans and keyboard operators alike. Not saying it’s not true as it makes complete sense. But do “those people” really clean their weapons?
  13. The number 52 represents the number of American hostages detained in the 79-81 Iranian hostage crisis. Got nothing to do with cards.
  14. I am. I hate cleaning guns, especially .22’s and AR’s. That’s were boresnakes really shine, lol.
  15. Boresnakes are great if you’re lazy but then what happens when you need to clean the thing?
  16. That kind of control they’re not going to give up.
  17. It’s rather ironic that the States now most asserting their rights and will as intended by the entire concept of The United States are the most liberal. By “liberal” I mean letting the citizens live the way they want.
  18. No, Most are not but there are several Lipsey's Distributor Exclusives currently cataloged that are flattops. If you look on Ruger's website they are listed under Convertible and Bisley models.
  19. I don’t know what the exact policy is regarding targeting political leaders of belligerent countries other than it’s not done, or if it is in fact codified. All bets are off for military officers. Sounds like he needed to go and appropriate action was taken.
  20. More along the line of skill sets.
  21. That’s the truth. I “might” be interested if they could duplicate that sweet old Royal Blue that’s always made this diehard S&W fan drool but there’s no way they can. Polishing stainless is a whole lot easier and takes a lot less skill than properly blueing guns.
  22. Dang man. Hang in there and take care of yourself.
  23. Colt is reintroducing the Python. https://www.colt.com/detail-page/colt-python-425
