  1. Never really thought about it but am still flabbergasted. Me and my Savage Mark II BTV will just carry on for my style of shooting. I can’t imagine getting much more accurate, it would ruin me.
  2. Nope. 158 gr LRN .38 Special.
  3. We need a proper sorcerer to remove to scourge of Torx from the realm.
  4. $2K for a .22 is kind of mind boggling unless you’re a professional competitive shooter or an Olympian. Sure you want to drop that much on a platform that has very limited range?
  5. 229 years of Federal and State court decisions, or lack thereof, say so. Not saying it’s right, it’s just the reality.
  6. I don’t think that a government agency is going to recommend anyone, at least they shouldn’t, but I would call the Blount Co. Property Assessor first, then the Register of Deeds. Regardless, sounds like a no win situation wherever the boundaries are. E.T is a wonderful place but the natives are tribal as hell and don’t take to too much change on “their” land.
  7. I think where people are taking their dumps might have something to do with it as well. Think of all those people who did their business at work who are now doing it at home, or kids formerly at school, or any others that choose to use public facilities. Those are all sources of TP that often come from something other than the regular retail supply chain. Now, more folks are having to buy their own, or at least more of it, from regular stores.
  8. I’d be full commando out back in the sun if there was a bit more privacy where I live.
  9. Vitamin D is a must during the winter. Might need to stretch that out further now. Or you could just sit outside in the sun all day...when it’s out.
  10. I have been to Kroger’s weekly since this situation started and it’s hit or miss every time. Without fail several of the things on my list will not be available and it’s aggravating as hell. I’ve tried going after the old folks hour ended also thinking they’d restock over night. Wrong! Judging from stuff still in boxes on the shelves, they’re putting it out as soon as it gets in. Stocking up is about impossible. There aren’t even any canned Lima beans, not that I’d ever put one in my mouth. Frozen veggies...don’t even look. Maybe we should all start slipping bills to grocery store managers for delivery info like the neckbeards did during The Great .22 Famine a few years ago.
  11. Close, but my chopstick is 3 ft long, lol.
  12. Please dispense with the “won’t happen here”. We see that maxim disproven on a daily basis it seems like. If Abdul and Fatima come over here and have a baby named Omar, well then little O is natural born.
  13. I use a bamboo garden stake. Basically a straight stick. Keeps the eyes, mind, and skills sharp, lol.
  14. Does this happen when the magazine tube is loaded or unloaded?
  15. That is an annual topic here. All kinds of recipes. Surprised no one has cranked it back up yet.
  16. The name as mentioned and the fact that Colt suspended civilian sales of AR’s for an undetermined amount of time back in the fall drove prices to ridiculous levels.
  17. Cool. I’ve always wanted to do a chamber casting. Have no reason to do so other than curiosity and I’m down too many rabbit holes as it is, lol.
  18. Whatever resistance to a government edict will be handled quite easily there, just as it will here when the time comes.
  19. I honestly don’t think we’ve seen the worst of it yet...and I’m an optimist. The layoffs and furloughs are just beginning.
  20. Canadians will comply when the time comes. They’re too pleasant not to.
  21. Tennessee cases jumped 10.8% today. Thanks TDC. I care little about prisoners but really? The State needs to get what they can control in order before they start everything back up they cant’t. Trousdale is the beginning of some big spikes I’m afraid.
  22. Since no one has asked the obvious...what happened to the original bolt?
  23. As it was in the 1970’s for young boys who got their jackets from Sears.
  24. Yet he’s holding one right now. He’s not going to give up the free publicity in an election year.
