  1. Tom Grieve does a nice piece explaining Commissar Lee's proposal. Stuff we all know but explained well. I may have to send to a few of my slower thinking associates. I sure miss when Tennessee didn't get any real attention. Bad ideas flood in when bad people do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaI-5jdWgVU
  2. What is the bar length on that pretty girl.
  3. Appreciate the nice play on words. And it is probably the only thing they have been gunning for in a while
  4. Looks like the NRA has finally taken a little action on their own and has filed suit against the ATF and DOJ. Jared over at Guns and Gadgets has a video up on YouTube with more detail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zzOdkNaw38
  5. I got the email as well. Chris Dorr appears to be the president of the American Firearms Association. Google search found these: https://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2023/may/20/gun-group-tfp/ https://www.americanfirearmsassociation.org/chris-dorr-2/
  6. DHF - Digitized Human Freight from the book Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan (later a series on Netflix).
  7. Does it come with a cover plate if one wanted to remove the red dot? I could not tell from Sig's site if one was included.
  8. Thank you for keeping us updated on the ignorance and/or intentions of our... "representatives".
  9. Am I correct that this has a barrel length of something like 11.85" and a 1:8 twist rate? Thank you for the listing.
  10. Mike Glover from Fieldcraft Survival is going to be in Nashville June 30th at Royal Range for a release party for his new book, Prepared. Cost includes a signed copy of the book. He is conducting a Defensive Pistol class the next day (July 1st) as well as a LEO only session later that afternoon. Link is below in case anyone is interested. https://fieldcraftsurvival.com/training?_bc_fsnf=1&Location=Nashville%2C+TN
  11. Unfortunately I am out of town on business that week. Thanks for the info. Please post on your experience.
  12. Very interested in this as well and hope to hear how about your experience with the class when you return.
  13. I'd need to see the video before throwing in my two cents. Was it a good shoot and will someone be charged and then convicted are different questions. Yours is the harder one to answer.
  14. Does Sig include a cover plate for the slide in case the optic is removed?
  15. I have this old 1911 knock-off that I have had for a long time. It is just sitting here in a semi-functional state, if you want to play with it. Just PM me if interested. Happy to help your cause. I am in the Nashville area.
  16. Sounds great. I have been thinking along the same lines but have had a busy couple of months. I am personally fairly open the middle three weeks of March (the 6th or later) and can make a meet up almost anywhere in the greater Nashville / Clarksville / Murfreesboro / Hendersonville / etc... area.
  17. It is painful to hear these people in the opposition speak with such authority about automatic weapons when their ignorance and agenda are so thick they choke the air in the room. I agree that those on the side of personal freedom need to take a few minutes to be able to counter these false statements aggressively.
  18. Thank you for providing.
  19. I am looking to purchase a Caliber Exchange kit for a Sig P229 and a Sig P226. I currently have 40cal versions of the firearms that I am wanting 9mm kits for. Please drop me a note if you have one that you would consider parting with.
  20. My understanding is that if it started out as a pistol, it can be returned to being a pistol. If this all gets overturned/dropped and you wish to do so, you should be able to put a pistol brace back on the firearm. But the firearm will still be registered with the NFA as an SBR unless you go through the process of de-registering it with them.
  21. Guns & Gadgets did a nice video on this as well. We can only hope that they are able to chip away legally at this but the forces out there trying to take away our rights are many and their ignorance is strong.
  22. One step they could implement that would help reduce the number of firearms that would be left in vehicles is if they made it legal for people to carry their firearms and ammunition with them into stores, work, hotels, etc... Add that to any letter to your representatives. Their own rules are helping to exacerbate the problem, not that we don't see that everyday.
  23. Appears that the same would apply to locked glove boxes and center consoles.
  24. I have heard people talking about how auto owners should be held accountable if they don't lock their doors &/or leave the keys in the automobile. This bill even lists ammunition. Think how long this list could get if you want to start talking about "dangerous" items they could steal. Guess we'd have to start with the car itself.
