I have used the old fashioned method of going to get fingerprinted a few times. A bit of a pain especially as there are two of us in my trust that need to have it done. This last purchase I used Silencer Shop and a local dealer in Nashville. Everything with them was fine but using the Kiosk for the prints was absolutely frustrating. I almost stopped the process and went and had someone do the physical prints for me again. Hopefully, they will still be usable if I make another purchase. The UPS store will take electronic fingerprints as well and places like National Gun Trusts implement them. I am not aware that the ATF will accept them unless they are transferred to a physical card, though (additional expense). I have also ordered some cards for myself to keep on hand and fingerprint ink and pad as well. It doesn't hurt to have the cards in case you want to do it yourself or the place you go to is short on inventory. I have never done it myself but know an employee at a local dealer who has done it himself numerous times. Tennessee Silencer sounds like a win to me, especially as you appear to be close to them.

Forgot to mention that I have CCW Safe. Back in 2018 I did as much of an in-depth review as I could with the resources available including ordering Andrew Branca's "Self-Defense Insurance Explained". I keep up with the industry options and even took a hard look at US Law Shield earlier this year. I stand by my choice of CCW Safe. Best first step is knowing Self Defense law to the greatest degree you can as crc4 touched on above. I don't give being denied too much thought as I know my temperament and that I don't go to blows quickly much less a weapon, I am very aware of what I am legally allowed to do and not do, and I put effort in staying away from where bad #### happens (rule #1). Sure, something could always happen that negates all this but all I can do is pick these things and pick the plan I think is best. If I did anything on top of my current plan and being a law junkie, I would add an additional policy such that allows for dual coverage, such as US Law Shield.

Lots of good stuff in the appeals court decision. Looks like they gave them 60 days to remedy the situation. We'll have to see what kind of BS happens in that time. But a lot of good stuff was laid out in their ruling and comments that could be used if/when this ends up in front of the Supreme Court.

I agree that Lee has been a problem from the get-go and I'm not feeling that warm and fuzzy about Tennessee on most things anymore. I can't believe I currently think that about a state I have loved for more than 30 years and call home. I loved it here so much up until recently. I have been thinking a lot about spending a lot of the year back up on the farm in western North Dakota. It may have its issues but the cold sure keeps a lot of the riff-raff out and everyone is pretty handy. Another note: 20 state's Atorneys General have joined in the fight Assault Weapons & Magazine Bans by filing against Delware. Guess who is missing.
