southernasylum, let us know your thoughts on the Omega 36M after you get to play with it a little, I you could.

I agree with this. I have a trust and it has it's own checking account. A good friend suggested I fund the account with the funds for what I wanted &/or set up a regular monthly addition to it so it would contain the funds for everything I wanted so the funds were already set aside for the items. I ended up purchasing similar to how you did.

No truer words. Suppressors, firearms, performance cars, boats, planes and women. The easy part is saving up to purchase them. It is the cost of keeping them running and accessorized that'll kill you.

I was told that if you can only buy one can, it should be a .22lr. Not sure if I completely agree, but his real point was that no matter what I got, I should also get a dedicated .22. I can't say it was bad advise.

Very nice. Congratulations on getting it home where it belongs.

They weren't saying this as they would just lay their hands on you for a little re-alignment when necessary.

I have not but I will drop you a note if I see one as I am continually window shopping. Looks just started shipping out to dealers. It'll be interesting to see how quickly accessories for it come about. Just like an Audi or BMW, the purchase price is often the cheapest thing.

Anyone know when they spin up dodgeball?

I took a MIG class at The Forge in Nashville. It was just an introduction and it made for a fun evening. They did a good job and I plan on going back to take the TIG class they offer. I think getting the fundamentals from a little hands-on training, get a hold of a welder and some metal, fire up the YouTube and start burning away, is a good way to go about it. I have looked for classes that were made for the hobbyist but they all seem to be intro classes like this or full "degree" type programs. This is my plan. https://www.theforgenashville.org/

That's funny. I saw the headline to your post in my email and before I saw what you wrote in the body of the post, I was thinking, he needs to be scared. -
I'm with you. I finally retired my 50" Panasonic G series for an LG 65" C1. That Panasonic Plasma is still going at my daughter's. Deep blacks and the whites are like cream. But the only thing I regret about moving to the LG OLED is that I didn't go with the 77". I thought the move to 65" would be enough... but it wasn't. The OLED is amazing especially with HDR content. There is no going back.

You may want to check out the reviews on the LG A2 line. Just know it may be hard to tell the difference in a big box store under their lighting as well. If you are looking for the best bang for buck, you may want to visit Electronic Express or at a Best Buy and find the TV geek to help you select one in this budget. If you were looking for great quality at a higher price point, I’d steer you to the LG C3 line-up (or an older C1 or C2, if you could find one). Just for general reference. Picture quality will usually be as listed below (in descending order of quality) - - QD-OLED - Quantum Dot OLED, new and expensive - - OLED Organic Light-Emitting Diode, not quite as bright as QLED but better blacks - - QLED – Quantum Dot LED - - Others

While we sit on our tails, the other side is working...

You are completely accurate. They just keep chipping away and our foundation is getting weaker underneath us. I have been a member and made consistent donations to the TFA for a long time now as well as being vocal on defending our rights in public and contacting politicians, but I realize that is not enough. I made a decision earlier this year to step it up and have been attending TFA meetings, educating myself more and will be making efforts to assist in educating others and supporting organizations in person and financially in the fight to retain our rights. At the very least, everyone on this forum should me a member of the TFA, subscribed to their YouTube and other media channels and as active as their time and budget can allow them to be. This is a fight for more than just the Second Amendment. -
If this is it, looks like it is currently $9.80 on Amazon if you have Prime (Cyber Monday deal). I think it is $12.99 otherwise). I may have to check it out. Thanks.for sharing. https://www.amazon.com/Kitchen-Knife-Sharpener-Sharpening-Cut-Resistant/dp/B079WWFZY6/
