  1. Just to save some time, here is a link to Google Maps showing its location, if you're interested. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Francis+Scott+Key+Bridge,+Baltimore,+MD/@39.2296089,-76.6271455,10z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x89c80052ddeb3cad:0xf3fb8c8f100a3e9e!8m2!3d39.2144778!4d-76.5316628!16zL20vMDR2Njgw?entry=ttu There is a big ole red exclamation point over it on the map now.
  2. Boom! Sucks when you storm a castle that actually has someone who is prepared to defend it.
  3. A couple other videos of the event. First one on a local channel's site and the second one is posted by a YouTube user and it is a longer video showing the ship approach with the hit at approx. 5:10 in. https://www.wbaltv.com/article/baltimore-bridge-collapse-key-bridge-video/60304085 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDceU9x58vc
  4. I agree but it is not just in D.C and it sure as hell isn't just the Democrats. We all need to keep a closer eye on the a-holes we have sent Nashville to represent us. If you aren't subscribed to the Tennessee Firearms Association (and supporting them with membership, etc...), sign up for the email list and join. Take a look at the video SB2516 and just let it die in committee. This wasn't the Democrats that let it happen, None of the Republicans wouldn't second it. See approx. 02:29:40 in the video linked below. This type of BS is all to common. That R after their name is not an indication of anything you can rely on. There are only two people on the committee that identified as democrats but I don't believe there are only two on it. https://tnga.granicus.com/player/clip/30019?view_id=703&meta_id=814156&redirect=true The video starts with SB This bill would have established, in addition to any claims that could be brought under the Federal Civil Rights Act, a state civil action against person or entity that infringes upon a person's right to bear arms under the Tennessee or United States constitutions.
  5. Very accurate. I think all of us who look at the details for a few minutes can see that the parents in this case displayed a lot of issues beyond just being unaware or unable to control as did the school system. But, it is still very concerning as how this verdict will now be allowed to be used. These are the same people that want to bring charges against the owner of a firearm if it is stolen from their vehicle or home (or probably anywhere/anyhow) and used in a crime. I'm sure they don't want to just stop there.
  6. ... or the name of their daddy.
  7. Jared at Guns and Gadgets did a post on it earlier today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08XoKS5bUC4&t=100s
  8. I just saw that SilencerShop posted a video on this. They mention that, "the ATF has confirmed this is the new norm". Well, until there is a new norm... as we all know from experience. Let's hope this is correct but, hope for the best and expect bureaucracy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNTnjDL1uXM
  9. Oops. I read "Crumbley" in the title as crumbly like a cake. I haven't followed this case closely but I worry that this will set a bad precedent for future prosecution. I agree that from what I have seen there was at least a decent amount of negligence on the parents' part but I don't have enough info on what they "ignored" to make a call on their actions or lack there of. You make a great point with what about the parents of gang members.
  10. Sorry, what case are you referring to?

    Heart attack

Glad you are home and doing well. I was just talking to someone yesterday about how everyday is a blessing and we shouldn't take them for granted.
  12. I would do a lot of research before I stepped into the world of NFA items. There are a lot of videos out there and FAQs on the legal and dealer's sites. One big decision is if you want to use a trust or not. There is also a bit of fudd lore out you may have heard that your research will dispel.
  13. We haven't even seen the start of the crazy, yet.
  14. ... and Heavy Duty Country posted this video a few hours ago. He asks the real question at 7:50 into it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vTWfNLT_Zs

    Man Show

I think the "and job fair" was put in their so you'd have something to tell the old lady you were doing besides drinking beer and throwin' axes.
  17. I just got an email that eForms is back up as of 4:00pm today, though the page does not currently display when I go to it.
  18. Let's hope this is accurate. I would hate to see eForms abandoned and a return to physically having to submit. Interesting it has been up for years and that it survived the influx the pistol brace issue caused and is now having trouble. Hopefully some other issue caused by an id10t error in the MIS department.
  19. Looks like the ATF eForms site is not currently available for use.
  20. It looks like the ATF eForms site is not currently available. There has been a bit of press about this since yesterday. I just tried to go to the site and it displayed the below screenshot. It does not look like an official reason has been given and there is speculation that the recent speed with which things have been approved lately was due to them attempting to clear out the cue.
  21. Is the Steiner 3-15x50 still available?
  22. Thanks for the quick review. I've been thinking about one.
  23. General rule I heard a long time ago and believe is sound advise, is that someone breaking into you house should not be able to get between you and your defensive weapon(s) no matter where in the house you are located at the time. With the availability of small safes that can be mounted in certain areas, this shouldn't be a that big of a challenge for someone, now days.
