All joking aside, that is some quality work your wearing. I hope it serves you well. Nice to treat ourselves once in a while.
-
Stylin'. If you wear that out in public, you'd better take a stick with you, as you going to need to keep the ladies off of you.

I can believe the dog shot him but I'll bet that a thorough investigation into the incident would find that the dog did it intentionally. Probably didn't treat a good boy like a good boy or was stingy with the treats.

Texas has a defense of property law that is even more broad than this, I believe and every legal eagle out there will tell you that you are not in a great place if you need to rely on it. Removing brandishing of a weapon, may be the most helpful thing in this. Summary from the FastDemocracy site: House Bill 856 amends various sections of the Tennessee Code Annotated related to the use of force, particularly concerning the justification for using deadly force. The bill introduces a new definition of "deadly force," clarifying that it refers to force intended to cause death or substantial risk of death, excluding the mere display or brandishing of a weapon. Additionally, it modifies the criteria under which a person can justify the use of deadly force, emphasizing the necessity of such force to prevent or terminate specific crimes, including property crimes and serious harm to animals. The bill also updates references to self-defense laws by including protection of property statutes, thereby broadening the legal framework for justifying the use of force. It removes certain existing language regarding the risk of causing death or serious bodily harm and replaces it with a more specific standard concerning the probability of causing substantial risk of death or extreme physical pain. Overall, these changes aim to clarify and expand the legal justifications for the use of force in Tennessee.

I have filled it out the form electronically on more than one dealers computer and they were all adamant that I had to complete it myself and that someone else can't be answering the questions for you. If you have a disability and need assistance, I can see the need. If they ask you every question, you answer and they them complete may pass scrutiny but I would think it would be questionable and i would not want to participate in the method.

DHF replied to DHF's topic in Nashville Area's Nashville Chatter
Tennessee Firearms Association Nashville Chapter monthly meeting for January 2025 is Tuesday 01/21/2025 at the Golden Corral in Hermitage. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend but hopefully some of you can. It is always a good event. Program Details: The Guest Speaker is Brent Taylor, State Senator for District 31, Shelby County. Senator Taylor is one of eight members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to which most Second Amendment related bills are assigned in the Senate. We are looking forward to hearing Senator Taylor's views and positions on Second Amendment issues and related topics. Location: Golden Corral Hermitage 315 Old Lebanon Dirt Rd Hermitage, TN 37076 (615) 874-1313 Guest Speaker and Program starts at 6:30pm - meal/social at starts as early as 5 with meal between 6pm and 6:29pm. Wrap at approx. 7:45pm -
Few inches here in Nashville (close to 100 Oaks area / I-65 and Harding). Went out and pushed a little with a broom to see how it was. A little moist but moves off the concrete and pavement easily, for now.

These are solid bags. They could be found locally at sporting goods store branded for the specific company. I have a few of them I use for the range and for toting around specific work tools. You can get this version with just the bag for about $40 on Midway, as well. I'm thinking I may need to grab a couple more as I try and organize my life a little more. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020438366?pid=357457

I went looking for the somewhat larger range bags like those that you used to be able to pick up at a reasonable price almost anywhere such as Academy Sports and Midway and haven't had any luck. I've searched locally and online and all I've found is smaller bags. It may be because the general population has gotten too weak to pick much up and carry it.

What Ammo do you have in your HD AR mags?
DHF replied to 22lr's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Federal XF223SP - Federal Premium Tactical Law Enforcement 223 Rem 62gr Bonded Soft Point or Federal ND55664 - Federal Law Enforcement 5.56 NATO 64GR Federal Tactical Bonded Soft Point The XF223SP is about $100 / 500 cheaper and I couldn't find any of the ND55664 when I originally went looking a while back. It is now. It is available now. My research, for what it is worth, is that a lot of the SWAT teams are still running the 62gr. Price shouldn't be a too much of a factor as when purchasing training/plinking ammo since you only really need enough to make sure it runs well and then enough stock to do the job you are buying it for. I utilize an 11.5" barrel. -
Merry a Christmas to you, yours, and everyone. I hope you all have a great Christmas, New Year and 2025.

Many options to get the trust done. I used Charles (Chip) Cain of Cain Law in Franklin. He is well versed in this area. I used him instead of going a slightly cheaper route as it was worth it to me to have a TN attorney who was well versed in them set it up. It cost relatively little more compared to the online options, etc... The bank account was set up just like it would be of an LLC or S-Corp. I took the trust paperwork to my bank and they set up an account for it. Is this overkill? Yes. Would I do it again exactly the same way? Yes. It took little effort and keeps things clean.

Best transfer fee in Nashville or Johnson city?
DHF replied to starncannon's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Just adding another update to this. Shooter's Nashville does transfers for $35 total ($25 Fee + &10 BGC). They are located at 575 Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville. Same strip mall that Gun City used to be in. I stopped in there yesterday and they confirmed this was accurate. They appeared more than happy to do them when I asked, unlike the attitude I get when asking at some other establishments. https://www.shootersnashville.com/ffl -
Are there a lot of solo player options with a good amount of playing time? I've enjoyed COD Modern Warfare before but picked it up cheap on the used market as the campaign was short and other solo options non-existent.

Looks like a couple people with Speed Queens have had an issue like this. This guys video may give you some info to try and diagnose/resolve. Seems that the machines pumping out a lot of air during the end of a spin cycle after most of the water is gone causes this issue. He starts to explain this at about 3 minutes into the video. Ties into what tercel89 just posted, as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vevgJseIL0 Reddit post with issue, as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/Appliances/comments/18sws10/speed_queen_suds_coming_from_drain_pipehelp/

I had a larger silver maple cut down, removed and stump ground for $2,050 in March of this year. This was done in Metro Nashville by a legitimate company fully insured, etc... Probably 3.5' to 4' diameter.

Nashville Armory / Franklin Range transitioning to Modern Warrior's

Copy that. I only stopped in this time as I was looking for an item and had checked almost everywhere else for what I was looking for. Says a lot when I live a couple miles from them.
