  1.   Completly agree. Elevator ride to top, overlooking the River is worth the $10 admission price. It really shows how damn big and mean the River can be. Parking, Might Rather park at LEO's house and take a cab. :) Sombodys automobile gets broken into darn near everyday.
  2. 40 round boxes were some of the 1st I ran across when the crunch started. Never seen a 40 rd box at Wally World but Academy and Dick's seem to have them quite often.
  3. No never been told and didn't think you were beating me up.  I sort'a firgured once you get in, one should have dubs on the same number next round.  11 does have a place in my past but Its all good.   I'll let Willis68 be the Umpire if things were to get sassy.  But so far I'm in and OK with what in the offering.
  4. Welcome
  5. My Grandpaw would be slight over a 100 and 5  if he were still alive.  He was a believer of soaking old rusty Knives and and other stuff he found in good old USA Coke a Cola overnight.  Best I remember they seemed to open after that bath.
  6. Darn, Really!  :usa:  Ok, I can step up to the Plate.  Sure, if JPS has Previous purchases with Number 11 and his son is commited to serving our country, then I'll be happy to swap for Number 10, but only under this condition!!!!! If number 79 is still on the Market, then I'll take 2.  #10 and #79 both in two-tone with all the bling. If 79 is gone then, ??? I have to think this over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. OK, It's about time I belly up for one.  How about Number 11?  Would like to send USPS money order if possible.  Would you mind PM'ing me if that possible?
  8. Welcome to a great forum.   Not to hijack your welcome but since you shoot at Range USA Jackson, I heard, someone told me,  one could shoot just about anything under a 50 cal with regular ammo and not the frangibale stuff. Can you or anyone else comment on that?
  9. Nothing but excellent words heard from Knowledgeable LGS and from Sig Rep. I’ve been waiting on the .45 to hit the streets. Sig Rep has one but he says there not available to all distributors yet. That’s fine, I can wait. I’ve toyed with getting a .40 instead. One LGS has Full size in 9mm and .40 cal for $495 + tax + Background. If you’re LE, First responder, etc you can get a professional discount. I took a slightly different approach with the .357 and .40. I have several Sigs when purchased they were born as a .40 cal. 4 of them I have purchased .357 barrel for in the neighborhood $150-$189 no sales tax, no shipping arriving at my door. So far all 4 have dropped in without a hitch. Now I have 8 weapons instead of 4. As most of you know Sig magazines will accept both .357 Sig and .40 Cal ammo and can be found online at reasonable prices. Most of the time if I’m not carrying a Sig compact 1911 in .45 I have one of the Sigs in the .357 Sig configurations tucked neatly in my knickers. Ammo prices: Well known .357 sig is more expensive as there are fewer brands manufactured for target and plinking. .40 Cal on the other hand has many more options therefore lower price. So with that, I will mostly practice with the .40 cal barrel and carry with .357 Sig. Nothing against the .40 I just like the .357 sig. I don’t find a great deal of difference in trajectory between the two as have sent considerable amount of .357 sig down the tube and have no concerns should I be required to upholster the rascal.
  10. Well we got a scrapper in the house.  Welcome to TGO, great place to hang out.
  11. Had I not seen your posted location, I'd had to ask if you moved to Memphis.  Just about no telling what might come thru a roof here.  Welcome to Tennessee.
  12. Welcome to the group.
  13.   Awesome Idea.  I need a rusty blued gun.  Farm snakes can't see rust.   All jokes aside, if you don't get a nibble, I know a fellow in Bartlett that can make a old ugly piece of metal look new.
  14. Let me know how that goes.  hehe
  15. Welcome
  16. I missed a thread 5-6 below this one that explains the homeland security changes. Hard to keep up sometimes.
  17. I guess that's what I don't understand. Why Homeland security is sending a/the letter?
  18. I thought TBI/NICS did background and renewal apps. Is the department of safety and Homeland Security the same in TN? Pardon my confusion, Luap

    Hello

    Welcome
  20. Academy @ Wolfchase in Memphis/Bartlett has 12-15 wooden boxes of the Winchester Special Edition 22 Long Rifle.  500 in the box I believe.  $32.99 + Tax gets it to $36.04.
  21. Harsh, lol  Well I could'a said "How bout them Hogs"
  22. Welcome, Woo Pig Sooie
  23. There is a jig already made that works like a charm. Made by fellow in NC. Search for it on Ebay or he has a super big thread over at 300 blk talk site. Add a 40 dollar cutoff saw from Harbor Freight or Northern tool and cutting 5.56 brass is a breeze. Search "300 blackout case cutting jig, Whisper, 300 blackout forming, 300 blackout trim". Same guy has slotted case gauge for 300 also. and his web address is http://www.zepprecisionmachines.com/index.html
