  1. I'm not saying what these guys are doing is right, although not illegal. It kindve seems like you guys are coming off as cry babies because you can't get what you want.
  2. He's still selling to a select group of people for whatever reason. It's his choice to do what he wants. The principle might not be the same but the end result is still the same. Certain people are getting ammo through a selective process and others aren't.
  3. Not at academy or Walmart for that matter. I'd rather not have to fight you guys for a $4 box of .22lr.
  4. I've got nothing bad to say about David. You might not like it but my point still stands.
  5. David's free to do whatever he pleases. But the result is still the same whether there's a store policy or not. Someone is getting shown favoritism.
  6. I see a distinction without a difference.
  7. S&W has a performance center gun now that has something like a 10" barrel in 17 hmr. It's kinda ugly but i bet it's a varmint getter.
  8. Motive was different.
  9. That's a reasonable thought process and I don't fault you for it. I just hope you're not at the brick and mortar stores "test driving" the guns, gear, etc before you scurry home to order it online.
  10. What are you doing? Installing a handguard?
  11. Nikon is making a cheap scope with a 300 blackout reticle. Eotech is making one if you wanted something without magnification.
  12. If you were talking to painter you may want to be careful because while he's a Winchester rep he does not work for Winchester.
  13. Too bad I could have sold you a LH model.
  14. All of they're 1911's are a bit sloppy. If you ever go somewhere where you can see several S&Ws at once you'll notice the checkering is very very inconsistent. I'm not even a big 1911 guy and I notice it right off the bat. Take a look at a sig in the same price point. The machining and fitting is typically better.
  15. Why not just add one yourself. It uses a dpms barrel nut so there's lots of options.
  16. I have all my gas blocks pinned. I've seen a couple that were clamp on or with set screws come loose. A gun smith will charge around $75 to pin one. Plus the cost of the gas tube.
  17. I have the 8.2". The noveske is the best value bc it comes with a pinned gas block and gas tube. Also mine shoots subs and supers, suppressed and unsuppresed without an adjustable gas block.
  18. Are you talking about this? If you are looks like more of a myth to me. http://www.theboxotruth.com/docs/bot32.htm
  19. I think good and funny is pretty cut and dry I don't see any ambiguity there.
  20. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/75096-ammo-in-stock-22lr-and-9mm/#entry1098887
  21. I just bought my second 9mm (I sold the first one j had). I'm not even sure I even want it but it simply fits a niche that nothing else can fit.
  22. Have you looked at one of those closely? The mag doesn't have a follower and you load the rounds in nose first. I seriously question it's reliability due to the fact that it relies on 2 extractors to pull the loaded round out of the mag and then pushes it into the chamber. Seems like an unnecessary step. At least they're trying something innovative.
  23. So it's $50 a brick? Haha so they weren't price gouging but now they are!
  24. The problem is even at $80 those buckets are selling for $150 on gunbroker.
  25. Unfortunately you won't find anyone that has then on the shelf unless they're selling them way above msrp in tn. As of last year Larue did away with their dealer program.
