  1. I'm doing a similar build. I just ordered a mag tactical upper yesterday. I already have the bcm rail, mag tactical lower, and lwrc uciw stock. I think I'm going to do a 14.5 DD light weight middie with a pinned blackout FH 51t. I haven't decided which sights I want. Probably going to go with DD fixed sights or MBUS pro. I was going to buy a low mass jp bcg but after thinking about it, it would make more sense if I put an adjustable gas block to match it. I just decided it wasn't worth it to save 3-4 oz. I'm trying to keep cost under $1000 and I think that will push me over with the cost of a $2-300 bcg and $100 gas block.
  2. What is that? I'm halfway tempted to kick in even though I don't cast... Yet.
  3. Also I forgot to mention. I went with the bcm strictly because of weight. I bought a mag tactical lower and Upper with lwrc uciw stock. I'm building a sub 5lb gun.
  4. I just bought a kmr. Its incredible how light it is. Once you hold it you won't able to get over it. The noveske hg you will need a giant open ended wrench to install it. The ones I've helped install we used a big adjustable one. The bcm comes with a wrench which happens to be the same pattern as a castle nut wrench.
  5. Maybe your pants are too tight. Just say no to skinny jeans.
  6. There are some skus that only come with 2 mags. They should be priced accordingly.
  7. If they're not counterfeit, the seller is at best breaking even. At distributor cost (not dealer cost) by the time you add seller fees and shipping there's no way he's profiting. Unless they're just trying to liquidate inventory to free up some assets I don't see how it's profitable unless they are of course fake.
  8. How do you know what they paid for it? Do you know for a fact what their operating expenses are? I bet it's not cheap on franklin as opposed to some of the rinky dink shops in BFE. Do you know what kind of terms they are getting for their merchandise?
  9. I doubt that would work. You'd be A) supplying the resellers b) anytime anyone catches wind if having cheap .22 people come from all around and that's all the buy. I've seen it myself through my own work.
  10. So your new car doesn't need a break period? Even Ferrari has a 1000km break in period.
  11. Best in general. Ease of use. Not going to lose the set screw easily. I'm building an ultralight ar with a mag tactical upper and lower. Pencil barrel, low mass carrier, 10" bcm hg and I think an adjustable gas block will be needed. The guy from the military arms channel stopped by and had a mag tactical he was evaluating that weighed 4.7lbs. I think I can build one lighter, especially since the bcm kmr is made out of the same material as the mag tactical lowers.
  12. It's difficult for there to be competition when your components come from the same place. Most of your powder comes from a few places in the world. Hpr and Ultramax get lots of its components from ATK. When you're having to rely on other ammo manufacturers to get components you're going to be put on the back burner.
  13. Out of curiosity, would you guys feel the same if it were on gunbroker and the opening bid started at say $30 and there was a buy it now at $70 and people were Buying it at $70?
  14. I don't know their situation and I'm certainly not sticking up for them but before you guys bash them consider how much they paid for it and where they got it from before you say anything. Just this week I had a distributor go up on 7.62x39 (century and tulammo) by $20-30 per case just because gun shops were buying it up because of the "impending Russian embargo". Consider the profit margin. Depending in what the item is and the cost we've figured you have to mark it up at least 10% to break even (staff, rent, utilities, etc). So I'm not ready to persecute anyone just yet.
  15. I mean the least the guy deserves is a good tar and feathering right? Sounds to me like there hasn't been an outcome. I'll be interested to see if the OP goes back and looks for the sales guy.
  16. I hope they throw him in jail! Even better we can all march up to his house in an angry mob with pitch forks and burn him at the stake.... Regards, sarcasm
  17. I'm not willing to cast stones at people over a few dollars taxes. I've done things to small scales in the interest of avoiding taxes (ie talking about business for 10 mins to get a dinner written off for work). I'm not willing to put myself out there as a hypocrite. I'm sure everyone on here has ordered stuff online to avoid sales tax when in fact you're supposed to pay it. So go ahead and be a hypocrite if you want. Just to be clear this isn't directed at dolomite or necessarily anyone that I "quote" it's just a response to what was said.
