I have four Glocks: G21SF -4Gen, G26-3Gen, G33-3Gen, and G36-3Gen. I have no SW M&P's. I might have to try a compact one someday, I don't like the full size.

Has anyone been to this show before, is it any good? It would be 1.5 hr drive for me one way, I don't know if it is worth the drive. I have a revolver SW 66 to sale/trade. I would be looking for individuals with money or handguns to trade.Does it have a good turn-out?

Received by Crossbreed Super tuck for subcompact Glocks today. Took less than 4 weeks. I am wearing it now with my G33 and it feels good. Should be alot better when broke-in. Thanks TGO for recommendations.

need help with Ruger Mklll 22/45 reassembly
lshel replied to bdykd0's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Might make sure barrel assembly is forward enough. I usually have to take a plastic hammer and give good tap back of receiver. This gets hole in grip and receiver aligned so takedown assembly can be inserted all the way thru top hole in back of barrel. -
I have two 550B on a 6' solid wood topped bench, loaders are about 3' apart. They work great, one is set with small primer and the second large. I reload handgun calibers 9mm to 454 Casuall. Good luck with your set-up, you can not go wrong with Dillon equipment. My oldest Dillon is 25+ years old with only primer alarm replaced.

Show to expensive with parking for its size, I want go there for a while. We need another show in Murfreesboro, it was a much bigger and better show with more individual sells.

They are awesome guns for deer size hunting and wild pig. I just purchased a Super Redhawk in 44 Mag for this fall. I had the 454, just to mush recoil and expensive ammo. The 44 Mag has alot less expensive reloading components. Good luck with your Redhawk and enjoy the shooting.

Can't beat a Ruger Mark II or III. Very accurate and reliable handgun that will last for decades. Many after market parts are available to change to your particular tastes. The grandkids love to shoot it.
-
Like the others have said the shorter OAL more pressure.OAL also is set to insure good reliable feeding from mag to chamber. I set at recommendation in reloading manual and on some bullets slightly longer for better taper crimp on flat bullet surface.

I loaded 11.8g of Accurate #9 with 124g Hornady XTP. Mild recoil and very good accuracy. This will be my practice & plinking load. Thanks TGO for your recommendations.

Need honest thoughts on SIG p238 and other pocket rockets
lshel replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I carry the PM9 in right front pocket or IWB 4 o'clock. The CW9 and CM9 are same size and less expensive. 9mm is my minimum caliber to carry. Six rounds of 9MM. -
S&W 640 in 357 mag has a pinned sight. I replaced my sight with the Big Dot. Comes on target real fast at close range.

I am a Glock fan, the G19 is hard to beat, but I have never own a SW M&P in any caliber. One day I'll buy a used one. I tried to buy a M&P 45c but we couldn't agree on price.

Opps. Title in classified need fixed please.
lshel replied to BLACKVANDRIVER's topic in Feedback and Support
Can this be edited someway by person who posted classified? On some other forums it has an advance editor that gets you to title to make corrections or edit "sold". -
The Ruger Mark II is drilled for a rail and the Mark III comes with one or you can add a mount that clamps over receiver and barrel.

I receive today 500 Berry 124 g plated FP bullets to load some 357 Sig on my Dillon 550B this weekend.
-
I like the Ruger Super Redhawk in a 44 Mag. This is an all around hunting/plinking gun. I have had several and then I had to have a Super Redhawk 454 Casull. This can put 300g bullets out at 1550fps. This round is expensive to shoot unless you reload. I would like my 44 mag back.
-
I would be interested in your results. I've never tried #7 but have used #9 in 454 Casull at around 1550 fps and a 300g xtp bullet.

I too am shooting out of Glock 33, recoil with Accurate #5 is not bad.Does Universal Clays burn clean, what velocity?
-
I setup my Dillon 550 to reload 357 Sig today. I used 8.3 g of Accurate #5 with 124 g bullet, approximately 1100fps. #9 data said compressed load. I tried using Berry's 124 g round nose but could not get 1.14" OAL(per Accurate website) due to taper on bullet. I had some Hornady 124 xtp that I was able to set OAL at 1.152, just where bullet started tapering. Grouping was decent, but Accurate #5 burns dirty, not clean. Does the Accurate #9, which I have several pounds, burn any cleaner. Do you get compressed loads with bullets seated correctly? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

GLOCK 33 FOR CARRY - HOW TO REDUCE RECOIL
lshel replied to lshel's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I added a SS guiderod and pearce grips to mags on my G33, seems to have helped some. Guess I'll just have to shoot more and adjust. I sure do like the 357 Sig ballastics. Now to find a good holster for daily carry. -
My DeSantis IWB summer special (leather) does good while in standing position. Uncomfortable in sitting position especially in car. Carry is about 4:00. Will the Galco Kingtuck or Crossbreed Super Tuck eliminate the pressure of gun inprinted on lower back/kidney area?
-
I'm thinking about ordering one for my Glock 33/26. I have a DeSantis IWB that I use now. It carries the Glocks good and somewhat comfortable. What does the Super tuck give you different from a good IWB?

I have a Glock 33 Gen3 that I would like to have the ability to shoot 9mm rounds, cheaper. I know I'll need a 9mm conversion barrel, will I need a 9mm magazine also or will the 357 Sig work? I know Lone Wolf makes 9mm conversion barrels, who else does and which is better? If I do this conversion, should I keep my Gen3 Glock26? comments/help. thanks
