  1. Toliver's Gun & Pawn in Manchester charges $20 total for transfers.
  2. The last one on TGO sold for $300 with two mags. Wait and save, if you have some type of conceal carry now. I have the PM9 and had a CM9 that I picked up in a trade. I sold CM9 for $385. The CM9 comes with one mag, polymer front sight, and regular rifled barrel. Most used CM9's have 2 mags in deal. If I didn't have the PM9, I too would be looking for a used CM9.
  3. I cann't edit my post to change to "SOLD". I was able to change to "Sold", but when post saved still old status "For Sale". How do you get it to save correctly?
  4. Enjoy the sun and ocean and don't get burnt. Eat lots of sea food for us at home. You might try Big Reds and Ribs, their big red shrimp is great.
  5. I found a M&P 9 full size. I shot it this morning, trigger and grip felt good and gun grouped great. G19 Gen4 is now on TGO classified. Great gun but just not the right ergonomics for me. Someone please buy.
  6. I have not shot a M&P 9mm, but I have shot and really like the M&P 45c with the apex duty/carry kit. I have held a M&P 9mm and it fits my hand with small grips better than G19 Gen4 without grip insert. I like the 3 mags w/15 rds, night sights and Gen4 grip texture of the G19 I traded for, but the grip just feels like a 2x4 in circumference. My glock sub-compacts fit my hand better circumferentially than the compact size. Maybe I can rent a M&P 9mm at some indoor range near Murfreesboro for a shooting trial.
  7. I' have a G19 Gen4 that I'm considering trading for a M&P 9mm. I have the M&P 45c and really like the grip and the feel during shooting. The M&P ergonomics feels much better than the G19 in my hands. What would you recommend? I have several subcompact Glocks (G26, G33, G36 all Gen3), that feel better in my hand than the G19, and only one M&P.
  8. I just traded for a G19 Gen4 and have ordered the 3.5# connector. This will be my house gun and backup carry. Hard to beat 9mm price, fire power (3 -15 rd mags) and improved performance. The G19 will be added to my other Glocks: G21 Gen4, G26 Gen3, G33 Gen3, G36 Gen3. M&P 45c is maybe better than the Glock 36.

    357 sig ..

Cost of ammunition is why I reload 357 Sig, also. My reloads are for pratice and buy my carry loads. I use a Dillon 550 with a set of Dillon 357 sig dies. I use a Berry 124 g truncated bullet or Hornady's 124g hp and am trying 3 different powders: Accurate, Titegroup, Clay's Universal at around 1200 fps.

    357 sig ..

There are alot of good 9mm in Glock and M&P that don't break the bank account.

    357 sig ..

I have a P229 and a Glock 33 in 357 sig. The P229 due to more weight has less felt recoil and is very accurate. The G33 has more recoil but managable. It is very accurate. The G33 due to it's size and stopping power is one of my conceal carry guns in a Crossbreed super-tuck at 4:00. I reload 124g bullets at 1200 fps.
  12. I have four Glocks, only one a G21 Gen4, other three are Gen3. I too want a G19 Gen4, but do not want to part with other Glocks. Why not add conversion grip to use G23 mag in G27. Then watch for G19. You cann't have too many Glocks.
  13. I transfered my Ohio conceal carry to TN about 2 yrs ago, as I got my TN driver's license. I received TN CP in about 6 weeks in the mail.

    Think it's worth it?

Make sure grip fits your hand, if a G30 Sf it's grip would be smaller in circumference. If ns are bright and 6 mags not bad, but $500 closer to value.

    New Gen4 G21

My G21 Gen4 with no backstraps feels like 21 SF circumference to me. All previous G21's were too big in circumference.

    P226 or P30?

I have had Sig 226's and still have a HK P30. That should say which gun I like best. The P30 is lighter and is a very accurate weapon with good mag capacity. The P30 with night sights and a rail light is my house gun. I too like DA/SA.
  17. My aunt has this side by side double trigger and dual hammer shotgun, 30" barrel. Side plate shows " RICHARDS BELGUIM". Pictures below. I assume it is 12 gauge, no marking. I would appreciate any information on gun and its value if any. It is in pretty good shape for an 1893 proof. It will most likely be a wall hanger.

    Longmire

I missed it, maybe can catch next week. Preview looked good.
  19. Welcome to middle TN, I had been away for 40 yrs and returned in 2010. Plenty of flat land in this area. I have a 25 and 100 yd range on my 7 acres in the woods.
  20. Cheaper than Dirt has the Apex DCAEK kit at $72.64 + $6.73 shipping, $18 cheaper than manufacturer's price (Apex Tactical). I installed kit and trigger is greatly improved with no gritty feeling.
  21. Yes I miss those old flea markets, those were the days. I bought a Webley 38 for $15. To many gunshow dealers with prices 10-30% higher than retail stores.
  22. The Ruger Mark II or III would be hard to beat. There are alot of used guns in both models for under $400. They are very accurate and reliable. The only thing it takes some pactice in re-assembling. Good luck with your choice.
  23. I want to install a front night sight on my 45c. I am thinking about XS big dot. What is a good sight for conceal carry and self defense, close range 10 yds or less?
  24. I cleaned 45c real good, for previous owner must have never cleaned it. I installed an Apex DCAEK kit and then fired 50rounds in an asortment of 185g and 230g rounds, all fed well. 185g were centered and more accurate at 10 yds.
