1. Now there saying there was a possible 2nd suspect. How can 2 sick people kill 18 children, innocent adults are bad enough. God be with the parents and others affected. The News will push "Gun Control" issues.
2. I shoot at least 50 rds per month thru my carry or house gun, most are FMJ not carry ammo.
3. I've never tried Nitro 100NF, does it work in 9mm, 357 Sig, 40 SW also?  Accurate Powders does not list Nitro 100 for the 45 acp, only listed for 95g copper bullet in 9mm. I might have to try Accurate #2 or #5 again.
4. I've tried many powders in 45 ACP, but I've not found one that is clean burning, usually alot of black residue. I've tried 231, Accurate #2 & #5 and currently Titegroup. All perform well, but dirty. Does anyone have a clean burning powder for this caliber?
5. Is anyone planning on going this weekend? I need to pickup some 45 ACP 185g bullets for reloading and some PD 45 ACP ammo and maybe a new tumbler if price is right. I'll have a M&P 40c to trade or sale.
6. My PM9 has been thru 300+ rounds with no issues. I guess I need to shoot some more 185g Hp, for I plan on carrying the Rem Golden Saber 185 g BJHP.
7. I use Accurate #9 17g in 300g HP bullet and 20g in 240g HP bullet. I shoot these in my Ruger Super Redhawk 9.5" barrel. You should check reloading manual for a starter load for this powder and the bullet weight you want to use.
8. I cleaned and oiled gun and put 55 more rds of 185g fmj and 185g Nosler hp reloads(all bullets are taper crimped). The hp did not require any slide assist as before. I did have one stovepipe on the shorter FMJ. Gun groups 2" or less with both loads. Kahr recommends 200 rds be fired prior to carry, is this a little excess if gun is feeding properly with regular HP load?
9. Night sights do not have to be charged they have tritium rods that glow. I personally like TruGlo and TruDot better, and they are less expensive.
10. I have the Ruger LCR 357 with the XS front sight. Nice carry gun, my back-up.
11. I sold my 7 1/2" Super Redhawk in 454  to a TGO member in the early spring with reloading dies and then bought a 9 1/2" Super Redhawk in 44 mag. It is alot more plesant to shoot, rounds are cheaper, and has good knock-down power. When I was younger, I could take the heavier recoil. Good luck with your 454!!!!!!!!!!!
12. I shot an assortment of about 30rds thur it. Both the 185g and 230g FMJ were accurate and feed good. I tried some 185 g hp reloads and the first two mags I had to assist the slide going fully forward. Grouping was about 2". The third mag feed without any assist to back of slide. These 185g HP reloads were longer than the FMJ. I did not have any 200g hp to try. I'll check the 185g HP to see their OAL.  I need to put a couple of hundred rounds thru it before I decide to carry it. Any thoughts on the slide assist problem, or is this part of break-in?
13. I picked up a CW45 in a trade. I like the feel of the gun and trigger pull. I haven't shot it yet, due to rain. It has the staked on front polymer sight, which if I keep I would like to replace with a ns. I've checked on internet, but can'nt find a ns for this model. Also extra mags are priced high thru Kahr. It's size/weight would make a good 45 ACP conceal carry. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for the CW45? thanks

SIG P290?

I also carry the Kahr PM9 with TruGlo sights and purchased an extra mag for total of 3 mags. The CM9 is about $200 cheaper and has some of the same features. The CM9 has a different barrel (reg. rifling), one mag, plastic front sight. I have shot these and they are reliable and accurate 10 yds. The only problem with CM9 is finding night sights, due to the front sight. Good luck with your pick.
15. I was there and it was packed. Alot of people were caring guns for sale, but I saw few selling. The gun prices on tables were high. If the crowd was thinner then one would have been able to enjoy a little more.
16. I talked to Donnie Daniels, one of promoters and the Sparta show is this weekend at White County Fairgrounds Ag. Building.
17. If you want a cool 22, try a lever action. It will give you alot of enjoyment and not waste as much ammo as a semi-auto. Henry and Marlin makes some good lever guns. If you are dead set on AR style then the M&P 22 is a good deal.
18. The case harden Ruger New Vaquero looks and feels like original Colt, but has coiled springs. I used two in cowboy shoots in 45 Colt. I would go with the New Vaquero in 4 5/8" or 5 1/2" barrel in 45 Colt. These are fixed sight revolvers. The Ruger Blackhawk has adjustable rear sights.
19. I carry a Kahr PM9 ( ss slide and polymer frame) which runs about $600 new. They have a Kahr CM9 which run less than $400. The CM9 has a different barrel and plastic front sight. Trigger pull on both are long/smooth like a good revolver. 6+1 with a 7 rd mag available.
20. I've decided to try a 9mm conversion barrel in my Glock 33 Gen3. Has anyone made this conversion and is there any feed, extraction or accuracy problems? Since I have the G33, I can't justify buying a G26 or another 9mm subcompact until I try this conversion. Comments please.
21. I have a Rock River Arms AR-9, 9mm carbine. Priced $900-$950 w/one mag at Bud's Discount Guns. Shoots great, accurate and the wife can hit with it with no problem. Can use Colt mags or UZ mofigied mags.

RRA LAR-9

I have used Winchester Target , PMC and Blazer 115g FMJ. The cheapest loads I can find from Walmart and internet.

RRA LAR-9

I bought my RRA LAR-9 from Bud's Discount Guns in Lexington, KY. I have put 300 rds thru it with no problems. No feed problems and very accurate, fun to shoot for almost no recoil. My wife calls it her gun. She can tear up target at 25 yds and can hit top portion of bowling pins. I bought my mags from Outpost Armory, they hold bolt open on last round.
24. I have a LCR 357 and a SW 640 357. I usually have 38 spec. load in both. My wife like and shoots the SW 640 better, for it has laser grips and has less recoil. I favor the LCR, for trigger is a little better and gun is lighter for carry. I went with 357 models for I could use both 357 and 38 spec. Good luck with your choice, for I like both.
25. I to had OH HCP when I moved to TN in 2010. It was $50 and TN HCP arrived in about 60 days.
