  1. I have the M&P 9C and the 9 Shield. Doing timed draw and two shot drills, I am faster with the M&P 9C in my Crossbreed Deepcover IWB. I have the X-grip for a 17 rd mag that I have available for house use. The 9 Shield is a little smaller and a good deep conceal carry. Both guns have been very reliable and accurate. I tested my 9 Shield and the trigger is okay per SW video.
  2. My 9 Shield checked out ok. The alert implies it maybe recent manufactured Shields.
  3. It was a long drive (1.5 hrs), but a good show. I sold my Glock 26,and resisted buying any other gun. I was tempted my some trades but held off for cash. I too plan on going to Murfreesboro show, a good show and only 30 minutes away.
  4. Hard to beat my Crossbreed Super Tuck for my Glock's.
  5. My go to gun is a Glock 23 Gen3 Rtf2 with 357 Sig barrel and 9mm conversion barrel. Three calibers in the same handgun with only one set of night sights to get use to. Minimum of 1000 rds per caliber in inventory.
  6. I'll be there Saturday morning with a Glock 26 Gen 3 to trade for Glock 19 or sale. See ya there!
  7. Mine was a new Browning Hi Power in 9mm with combat round hammer for $125 in 1969 from local sporting goods store. I traded it about 5 years later for a new Colt Gold Cup, even. I wish I had it back.
  8. I've been looking for IMR4895 powder for by 308 and 30-06 reloading (FNAR and Garand) and finally found some at Outpost Armory exit 89 on I24. Limit is 2 lbs per customer. They still have someleft.
  9. Try a Sig P220, one of the best and most accurate 45 acp's.
  10. My 9 Shield is very good as is.I did put an Apex kit in my 45 Compact.
  11. I have 4 M&P's (3 9mm's/45 ACP compact)and only one Glock 23 Gen4 RTF2 40 SW/357 Sig. I was heavy on Glocks 9mm-45 ACP, but the M&P's have a better feel and handle/shoot just as fast as the Glock. Time will tale on durability, but so far no problems.
  12. I'll listen the next time. I was in Murfreesboro so I drove to Dickson. The show sucked and air conditioning was none existent. Two-three dealers and the rest was junk.
  13. I didn't make it to Nashville last week. Is the Dickson show worth driving to? I'm in need of some reloading supplies.
  14. I've not been to a gunshow in a while. Is this one worth going to? It's a 70 mile drive oneway for me.
  15. DOESN'T ANYONE HAVE SOME NIGHT SIGHTS ON A SHIELD?
  16. What night sights are available for the Shield? I like TruGlo on other M&P's and Glocks, but I am unsure if they are available for Shield. I have seen XS big dot front sight with line rear sight offered. What type night sights do you have?
  17. I use 41.3g of IMR4895 with a 168g SMK hp, around 2470 fps. I'm having problems on finding IMR4895. Others have suggested using Varget powder.
  18. I have the PM9 and the bigger CW45. Both are great shooters and carry weapons.
  19. Will Sam have any IMR4895? I'm needing about 3 lbs.
  20. This is first Murfreesboro show this year. A total of four are scheduled. See ya there. I hope David brings some reloading supplies to show.
  21. I like both the Glock 19 and M&P9. The M&P9 has the best feel, shoots great and is very accurate. That's my choice.
  22. Parking + admission at $5 + $8 is too high and not really a good show. I'll wait for Murfreesboro show May 18-19. Maybe David will be there at Murfreesboro.

    Ruger SR22

I just bought this 22 w/3.5" barrel. Very accurate at 10 ft and no miss-feed, miss-fires, etc in 50 rds. Single action pull is acceptable, but double action is very, very hard, maybe 12-15 lbs. I wonder if there is a spring kit for mainspring replacement yet? Gun has safety, hammer drop and magazine disconnector. Parts list for a small gun is significant. Any suggestions on reducing double action pull?
  24. Bought some 308 LC ofb and traded a SW22 for a Ruger SS/Wood 1022. Sold Ruger before getting out door.
