  1. I'm looking for 44 mag, but can not see going to this show. Let me know how show was.
  2. Outpost Armory is LGS off exit 89 of I24.
  3. I stopped at Outpost today and they had several shelves of Federal Auto-Match 22Lr 40g 1200fps, box of 325rds for $22.99, limit 2 per customer. I bought my two boxes. I don't know if a good deal or not. I had stoped at Academy in Smyna and they ony had 100 rd boxes of Elby for $19.95.
  4. Model 870 12ga with 7 rds of 00 buck shot with Sig 220 or Glock 21 at my side.
  5. Crossbreed and AlienGear for me. The Alien Gear is less expensive. The Crossbreed carries my M&P 9c and the Alien Gear my PM9, XDS45, and XDS9.
  6. My order placed on 11/11 and is on the way to be delivered by FedEx on 11/21.
  7. Is the Franklin show still scheduled for this weekend? I thought it might be cancelled due to traffic/bridge problem. Anyone going?
  8. Thanks for input, I just placed my order for 1000 rds for $290 shipped, and was still in stock. Ammo to be delivered Friday 11/21/2014.
  9. I've found a YHM Mite all SS for around $250. This price seems good when Sparrow's are $200 more. If the SS Mite gets the job done and can be cleaned easily why $200 more for someother can? I don't know much about this can for that is why I'm asking those who have used the YHM cans.
  10. What do you think of SS Mite suppressor? Is it easily disassembled and a quality suppressor? I have no experience with this or any suppressor, but it's economical price gets my attention. What is your experience, pass or fail? thanks
  11. Ordered a Volquartsen trigger from Midway today. I've already replaced chamber indicator and replaced magazine disconnect with tactiacal hammer bushing.  Hopefully I'll be able to install trigger by Thursday. Thanks for input.
  12. I have a 22/45 Lite and it has the magazine disconnect removed and a new hammer bushing and all mating parts polished. The trigger pull is good but there is alot of trigger take-up (travel) prior to hammer falling. Is there any may to eliminate or reduce the excess trigger travel? thanks.
  13. I've been looking at 22LR suppressors around Murfreesboro area. Most economical ones have aluminum baffles from Hunter Town Guardian run $189 to $199, no one has the ss baffles. I looked at 22LR Sparrow with steel baffles mono-core $499 and all SS $599. One LGS said for 22 LR aluminun baffles were good, but with the crud from 22LR and low pressures I would think steel or SS baffels or mono-core steel would be needed. Why not a more realistic price where people would buy more and spend the $200 for NFA stamp? The cost of materials used in these suppressors looks very minimal. What is a good economical, quality and easy to clean 22LR suppressor with steel or SS baffles and 1/2 x 28 threads? Would like to take the plunge into suppressors but stay below $500-$600 total including stamp.
  14. I been thinking about pursuing a suppressor (can) for my 22 pistols with 1/2x28 threaded barrels. I only forsee having this one suppressor for use on two Ruger 22/45 Mark III's. I've read that the Element II and Sparrow are the better ones and that alot buy the YHM Mite. Can the Mite be disassembled for cleaning like the Sparrow and Element II. Price high to low is Element II, Sparrow, then Mite. The Mite and stamp could be bought for the price of the Sparrow or Element II. Which would be the best buy for the money and can be disassembled for cleaning?. What would you recommend?
  15. Thanks, I found NFA Guide in this forum.
  16. I'm totally in the dark on what is necessary to legally own a suppressor. I would like to have one for my Ruger 22/45 with thread barrel. Do you submit paper work to register and get stamp prior to buying a suppressor or are they done thru suppressor seller?  I know you have to submit finger prints with application and it takes 2-6 months to get approval. I assume you cannot take possession of suppressor until you have paper work back w/stamp. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
  17. Has anypne ordered a handgun from Bud's since they opened a store in TN? Are they charging taxes on TN sales from their website?Thinking about ordering a Ruger 22/45 but if taxes are included, it maybe cheaper buying elsewhere or LGS. Thanks
  18. Anyone who is wanting to try the XDS45, there is one for sale/trade in the classified by you know who. Great guns, I just have 2- 45acp's and 1- 9mm and will part with the extra 45. Great shooters and easy to carry.

    Kahr PM9

I consider the PM9 as a pocket conceal carry and 6+1 9mm is way better than  none or one in the car.

    Kahr PM9

You cann't beat the Kahr PM9 as a pocket and light carry gun. I like the smooth double action type trigger. I've carried my PM9 longer than any Glock that I've owned. I have one Glock 21 4th Gen as a house and woods gun and a Kahr CW45 as my truck gun.
  21. I have the XDS9 and XDS45 but to me both are IWB carries. I use a Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0 IWB holster and my PM9 also fits this holster. My PM9 in a pocket carry uses a Stellar Rig Kytex Pocket holster with extra mag pocket, thanks to Oh Shoot. The two XDS's are my back-up single stack carries, with PMP being primary. I carry larger double stack guns IWB or OWB, usually M&P 9C or M&P Pro in 9mm or Glock 21 in 45 ACP, depending on surroundings, range time, or house gun.
  22. Maybe if they can't get a good location in Murfreesboro, they will book more shows in Franklin. A longer drive but more space inside and ample parking spaces.
  23. I've noticed several OC's lately, one in WalMart and the other in Kroger's. I noticed, but the wife didn't. I CC except on the way to woods with my dog or around my own land. I prefer not to draw attention to my carry condition.
  24. I bought a used XDS 9mm post recall w/3 mags and added a Powder River Precision spring kit and an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0 RH IWB holster. I liked so well that I then bought a used XDS 45 acp post recall w/3 mags and added the same spring kit. The Alien holster allows use of both XDS pistols. The recoil of the XDS 45 is not bad for such a small pistol, much less than a 40 SW in similar size (CM40). So these 2 XDS's and my Kahr PM9 with Steller Kydex pocket holster w/mag pocket (pocket carry) makes up my single stack carry guns.
  25. Nice small gunshow scheduled at White County AGR. building this coming weekend. Good show for trading and lots of individuals with Guns to sale/trade. I'm planning on going Saturday morning.
