1. With spring turkey season not far off, April 2 thru May 15, I was thinking about adding Mossy Oak Graphics Camo gun skin to my Remington 870 20 ga. magnum. Has anyone tried this or a similar product? I have viewed several application videos on internet.   Any suggestions or installation comments would be appreciated.
2. I've both now and the PPQ M2 trigger is slightly better. I like the ergonomics of the VP9 better. Both guns handle well and are very accurate. The PPQ M2 requires some reaching with finger to hit mag release button. The VP9 mag release paddle on trigger guard seems easier to operate. I'll just have to shoot both alot and see which one becomes a Safe Queen.
3. The PPQ M2 has a standard button release which is reversible. This is an advantage over the HK paddle at trigger guard. I still like both. I'm a HK handgun fan. I might just have to buy both eventually and then sell some other handguns setting in safe.
4. It would be nice if both PPQ M2 and VP9 had cheaper price on mags (15rd) and if 17 rd mags were offered.
5. So for, comments on VP9 vs PPQ is about 50% for each one. I'm right back to the start, undecided.
6. I've handled and fired both guns and both have an excellent trigger and good ergonomics. I believe the PPQ trigger was slightly better. Both guns tore-up the 10-ring at 25 feet. The PPQ has a polymer front and rear sight with the rear being adjustable for windage. It took several adjustment to PPQ rear sight to move the shoots right to center on 10 ring. The VP9 has metal front and rear sights in lateral dovetail and dots are luminous.   The PPQ has shorter barrel and grip length but both guns have 15 rd mags. It looks like the VP9 could have added two extra rounds and hold 17 rds based on it's extra length.   The PPQ sales about $50 less than the VP9.   Dimensions: MANUFACTURER'S DATA                             $619             $575 BUD'S PRICE                             VP9              PPQ OA LENGTH         7.3"              7.1" WIDTH                  1.3"              1.3" HEIGHT                 5.4"              5.3" BARREL LGT        4.1"              4.0" LNG BT SIGHTS    6.4"              6.2" WT UNLOADED    25.6OZ       24.5OZ TRIGGER PULL      5.4#            5.6# TRIGGER TRAVEL 0.24"           0.40" RESET                    0.12"           0.10" RIFLING                 RH POLY     LANDS/GROOVES LGT OF TWIST       9.8"             10.0"   Which of these do you have or would you buy? Cz and sig?

I own Sig's , a CZ  75d Compact, several DA revolvers and several striker guns M&P9C, PM9, SA XDS 45, and HK VP9. I too like having a hammer and sear trigger combination with metal frames for I  have shot these type guns since the 70's. I also like the light carry weight of the striker fired pistols that I have listed and their reliability.   It just depends what fits your hand and your exposure to a cross-section of pistol design.
8. I've seen a mountain lion(s) on several occasions while hunting deer on Putman Mountain in Alabama in late 90's to early 2000. The only time I was bothered was when it disappeared near dusk in the area I had parked my 4 wheeler ATV. I rode out of valley with magazine loaded but non in chamber.

Who has a VP9?

Shot the VP9 this morning. Excellent accuracy, trigger as good as everyone says and spent casing ejected in one area. The luminous sights were great outside. I've already ordered a spare mag form Midway, $37.99 + shipping. My Mitch Rosen Premier HK 45 OWB holster fits VP9 like a glove. Wish I knew how to post pic from cell phone of target.   Looks like my M&P 9 full size will go soon.
10. My minimum has always been 3 mags per pistol or rifle. Looks like I need to buy more rifle mags AR15/AR10.

Who has a VP9?

I just picked up a slightly used VP9 and assembled the grip to fit my hand last night. The trigger is sweet dry firing dummy rounds. I plan on shooting it sometime today. If the VP9 is as accurate as others say, I may be getting rid of my M&P 9 full size with apex duty kit.
12. I have a Pearce +1 grip extension on my G43 mag and no problems. Why pay more for a Taran +1 when the Pearce is less expensive.

M&P 45ACP

I also have the M&P45. I added the Apex Duty/Carrier upgrade kit and trigger pull is excellent. I also have the M&P9 and M&P9c with same spring kits. I sold my Glock 21 Gen4 and bought the M&P45. The M&P45 fits my hand better with small backstrap and thus I shoot with more accuraqcy. The only negative is 10 rd mag in M&P45 vs 13 rd mag in G21.
14. Received my Ghost Edge connector this afternoon. Installed it in about 15 minutes. Trigger pin was hard to get out, Tried it left to right with no luck then switched right to left wiggling slide stop and finally pushed out. Installed trigger pin back right to left after aligning slide stop hole and others, pin pushed in easily and locked into place.   Trigger pull very smooth and weight of pull much reduced. Will take for a shooting session tomorrow if not raining, my range is outside.
15. Sometimes my fingers type something other than what I meant to say. Maybe age has something to do with it.

M&P 9mm

I'm an M&P fan also. I have the M&P9, 9C and 45 and all have small back-strap installed along with Truglo FO night sights.
17. Show was not bad. Bought a LNIB Ruger LCR 22 LR at a good price. Alot of families cruising the show.
18. There is a gun show at White County Fairgrounds Agr. building in Sparta, TN. this weekend. Usually a good trade/sale/buying experience.
19. I shot some 380 acp and about one round out of every mag failed to fire. I changed to PMC 380 ammo and had no problems.
20. I just ordered the Ghost Edge Connector for the G43, and I hope it improves the trigger pull weight. Should be here by the end of the week. I'll report back after I install it.
21. M&P10 for me. Very accurate and no feeding/ejection problems. IMO one of the best AR10's for the money. I added a free-float handguard, CTR Magpul stock and bipod. Sweet shooter. I've had M1A's and really like their military look but the AR10 is my choice.
22. I like TruGlo Tritium Fiber Optic sights which give you both FO and night sights, about $79 on line thru Cheaper Than Dirt. I have on several M&P's.
23. I've had the Sig238, Sig 938 SAS, Sig P230, Kimber Solo 9, XDS 9, CW9, PM9 and CW380. The only single stacks  I still have and carry are the PM9 and CW380.   The Kahr's are hard to beat for size, reliability,  easy of carry and smooth trigger pull.
24. I went with the M&P 45 full size. The small backstrap gives the grip a very good fit to my small hand. It was also used from a TGO member at a decent price.
