  1. Crap -- my bad. Sorry about that OS. I thought I had the answer to your problem. I obviously misunderstood the problem. I overlooked the "Feedback" link in the past and just assumed everyone makes the same mistake as I did... I looked at your feedback and got the same message. All I can see is the +/- and the short comment.
  2. The detailed feedback comments can be accessed. Its not obvious how to access them, but it can be done. Go to a user's "Classified Profile". There is a "Feedback" link on the page that allows you to see their detailed feedback. If you're not looking for it, its real easy to miss.
  3. So sorry for your loss, Wayne. I know there aren't any words that can ease your pain. I'll be praying for you and your family.
  4. Amen! I make it a priority to vote in every election. With early voting, its really not that difficult to make it to the polls. For some reason, some people don't get it -- you HAVE to vote. I always tell everyone that if they don't vote, they have no right to complain!
  5. Once the right to keep and bear arms is abolished, freedom of speech won't be far behind! I think TGO will be around for awhile. I feel something ('AW' ban, higher ammo taxes) will happen but full-out registration isn't in our near future (IMO).
  6. Greetings! I'm also in Bellevue. As you probably know, there aren't any ranges "close" to Bellevue. What do you consider 'distance shooting'?
  7. I'm pretty sure I saw the same one. It had a price of $469 or some craziness. I didn't look too long at that price. I've seen Glock prices go up from the last Goodman show (same dealer, same model of gun).
  8. I came home with an IBM M1 Carbine. Since I'm a computer guy by trade, it just fits. I've been looking for a nice one for some time now. Circumstances have always got in the way when I did find one. I know, I know... where are the pictures? Give me some time, I just got home!
  9. Yes but you can join some clubs online. It takes about $30 to join an approved shooting club. I believe there is also a marksmanship requirement -- but a C&R FFL or a HCP are enough for CMP.
  10. A great question is "who cares what Roseanne says?" Anyone who bases their views of the world on what any celebrity spouts should be required to take some basic civics classes. The US population (in general) really needs to learn to THINK for themselves.
  11. My lovely wife that I truely don't deserve got me an OD Glock 23. I married good!
  12. Since I'm out of work, I went to Owl Hollow for a bit. Too cold to spend all day there but it was good to throw some lead down range.
  13. Great news! Talk about a nice Christmas present. I'm always stoked whenever I hear about guys returning from the sandbox in one piece.
  14. I just re-upped with a Life membership. I've been wanting to do it for awhile and finally got off of my can!
  15. Sorry to hear that Tungsten. My last day at my company is Friday... I'll keep my ears open for any IT jobs... I'm an engineer so I hear about them occasionally. Best of luck!
  16. You are not target shooting for the HCP class. You should not have any problem with the shooting requirement. When I took my class, several people had very little (if any) experience with handguns: everyone passed. In TN, you can carry any handgun not just what you qualify with. It doesn't matter if its a semi-auto or a revolver. I saw several people take the class with a .22 revolver. Good luck!
  17. No, your book is only for guns transfered via your C&R FFL.
  18. I appreciate the thoughts nraforlife. Unfortunately, this company has a history of November layoffs. Their fiscal year runs along with the calender year so they want salaries off the books for 2009. There are a lot of loyal guys in my office that busted their rears for this company. Motivation is not very high in the office these days...
  19. My company gave me a termination date of Dec. 12 for a Christmas bonus. Shut down the whole office... The fun of working for a publicly traded company: you are nothing but a number and all that matters is the stock price. Oh well, as someone else stated I have lots to be thankful for. I am actually viewing this as an opportunity to get out of a huge corporation and work somewhere that I can make a difference.
  20. All I can do is send condolences and pray for you. I have no idea what you are going through but you and your wife are in my prayers.

Good luck finding either of those for around $300! If you do, PM me in a hurry! I do agree with you -- you can't beat a good S&W. I'd also add the model 18 to the list.
  22. I stopped in yesterday just to browse. The owners seem like good people. They are still trying to get the store stocked. Seems like they are selling stuff as fast as it arrives. I'll be going back when I'm in the market to spend some cash.
  23. I've got a 8310 on AT&T. I love the Crackberry. My service with AT&T has been great. They are addictive. My wife laughs at me over being so accessible. Now I expect to receive my email within seconds...
  24. If you are a Sam's Club member, they have a 24 gun Winchester safe for $623. They don't deliver so you have to have way to get it home.
  25. I carry a P239 and love it. The only time I don't carry it is when I'm wearing shorts or I'm in a huge hurry and then I drop a J frame in my pocket. They are extremely accurate and well built guns. They are not cheap. I did run across a (very nice) used one priced at $525 at a local gun shop today.
