was that on a new gun or used? if it was new, I'd be curious to know if they restocked your returned gun as "new"...
G&L has great customer service. I firmly believe they would never try to pass off a used gun as new. I would bet $ they returned the gun to the distributor/manufacturer and got it replaced.

It works great - the inside of the brass gets clean. Primer pockets are cleaned. Brass looks like new.
It is rather messy compared to corncob/walnut in a vibratory polisher.

What's left?

Post on TGO about it?

Thing is... that's the grip used by some of our Marine MP units. I know, because my son is one, and has to use it.
Difference is the Marines train with it and know how to use it (and have some reason for using it). Its not something they picked up from TV...

Guess I will just inform them of the law and take my business else where. The only reason I stopped there is because of its location to my home which is just a hop, skip, or jump away. Ill just go to the one I have always gone to which is friendly towards my carrying. Thank you for your time.
If you are going to take your business elsewhere, I would not bother informing them of the law. That could make them post - which only affects other HCP holders.
-
I see two choices: 1) conceal and don't worry about it, or 2) provide them with a copy of the current law. If you take path #2, they could post - which would make carry illegal.

Its only against the law if they are posted. This aspect of the law changed several years ago.

One is certified by the state, the other by the NRA. You have to have state cert to teach the HCP class. You need NRA cert to teach NRA classes.

If I remember correctly, the Kel-Tec shotgun was $1499

I stopped by G&L and picked up a pistol today. Place was absolutely crazy. I looked for you Metalhead but I didn't see you around.
Unfortunately, I wasn't the one that picked up the Ladyhawk. But he was leaving as I got there.

Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.
For me, its usually more like: 'abandon all money, when ye enter G&L'. You always seem to have something I can't live without and, for some reason, I always get great customer service...

I can't believe the poor customer service you gave the guy
Ain't working with the public grand?

Are you tumbling with stainless steel media?

The engineer in me is intrigued. The gunowner in me asks "why?".

I'm still using an antique, maybe 10 year old HP 895 inkjet. Both the B/W and Color carts that came with it were a different number and lesser capacity than the full capacity ones.

My most recent HP came with normal cartridges. They do sell XL size ones that are larger but they do market the same ones that came in my printer.
-
I'm aware of that. I was referring to the less ink comment.
Not all manufactures do. HP comes to mind as one that puts 'full size' cartridges in with their printers. I have bought other printers (Canon or Lexmark - can't remember which) that shipped smaller volume cartridges than they sold. They didn't advertise this but the cartridges had the volume listed on them.

Is that kinda like the myth that WM ammo is made in China or is there some actual facts behind it?
Take a look at http://en.wikipedia..../Inkjet_printer. While WikiPedia is usually a very suspect source, they have references for the business model discussion. A very common business model is to make your profit on consumables. When I worked in laboratory automation, that was one business model my company discussed: break even on the hardware and software and make your money on the laboratory consumables.

Several years ago, I had BestBuy try to sell me a 3yr warranty on a printer. The printer was on sale for $39.97 and the warranty was $39.99. They were shocked when I turned down their generous offer.
-
That's their business model - make the $ off the ink... In all fairness, the ink cartridges that come with printers usually have less ink than the ones you purchase separately. They only want enough ink in the box to get you going (and make the selling company not seem cheap).

I'm not willing to take a chance with having to make that argument to a LEO or in court... I agree the sign is too small (in my opinion) but it does have the legal language on it.
-
Monkeylizard, to say that storing a weapon in your car at Cool Springs Mall is illegal is stretching it. What law states this? The worst they could do is tell you to leave.
If you drive by one of their signs, legally posting the property, even leaving it in the car is technically illegal. You carried past a legal posting just to get to the parking lot.

Is the date nailed down? Last post I saw mentioned Mar 3 or Mar 10.

I've know a local 'smith that might be up for the job. I'll ask him and pass along his info. He is honest enough to admit if something might be over his head and won't attempt anything he's not comfortable with.

When my sister's family visits, we turn my nieces loose at Red Caboose Park in Bellevue and let them run wild for awhile. It doesn't really help - they still are going when all the adults need a nap.
If the weather is nice, you might want to take her to local park.

While it wasn't with a firearm, G&L treated me really well on some magazine issues with a gun I purchased from them. I bought a 1911 that had one magazine that always had a FTF on the last round. I was going to send it back to the manufacturer but Daniel just handed me a new mag and said they'd deal with the manufacturer. He sure didn't have to do that - but it saved me some trouble. I don't expect them to take back a gun I bought in 2008 because I want something new...
