  1.   Had the TJ for about 13 years now. It's my 'toy' but I drive it to work most of the time. Easier to get around in our parking garage!   I've got the same set of stickers on the truck (minus the 'don't follow me' one :)).   There are several of us out here in Bellevue. Probably all of us are itching for Royal Range to get the actual range open. As of yesterday, it is about 4 weeks out. We should check the parking lot for TGO stickers when the range opens.
  2. If you are accessing TGO from a web browser, there is a 'TGO Store' tab at the top of the site.
  3. Guilty!   If monkeylizard was too close, I would have turned on the 'back up' lights... they tend to work very well if someone is tailgating me!   There is a slew of us TGOers in Bellevue.
  4. My current trend for dealing with solicitors is to open the door, immediately say "Not interested" and immediately shut and lock the door and walk away. Seems to work pretty well - no one has tried knocking a second time.    AT&T pestered me non-stop when U-verse was first available in my neighborhood. One of the five times they came by, I was fueling up my mower and they wanted to chat. Told them I wasn't interested and kept prepping the mower. They were still talking when I fired up the mower and started cutting the lawn. The look on their faces was priceless.
  5. Seems like I saw these recently. All it takes is a 300 AAC barrel and flash hider to make them fraternal twins...
  6. I felt myself getting dumber as I watched...
  7. They were quick - less than a week in both cases. I think they try to do their firearms engraving in a batch.   I'm not aware of anyone that engraves while you wait.
  8.   I've had good luck with All Things Engraved out of Franklin TN: http://www.allthingsengraved.com/. Quick turn around and the results are excellent. Its nice working with an engraving shop where the owner will talk guns with you when you pick up your AR lower! I've gone to them multiple times.
  9. I like the Springfield 1911 line. They have some awesome versions. But if I was wanting an heirloom, a Dan Wesson would be hard to beat in the $1000 ballpark.
  10.   I don't think I made a copy of my app before I sent it in. I'll double check though.   I couldn't find the new app online anywhere. I was really surprised it was a personalized renewal app. The last time I renewed it was the multi-part application just like the original HCP application.
  11. Once you get within 6 months, you can call and request a renewal app. I just got my renewal last week - sent the app in about a month earlier. The renewal app they sent me was pre-populated with most of my data. I just had to check a few boxes, sign it and send a check. I was surprised the renewal app was personalized; they must have some new software to play with.
  12. Fine...peer pressure works. I'm in for #55 with the black blade please.   Thanks  for yet another awesome knife Willis.
  13. I like the marble carbon fiber. Between the godfather and godson, I think we have the tuxedo look covered.
  14. Mailman dropped my knife off this afternoon. Wow! It's a super blade. I was also surprised to get the belt carrier.    Thanks Willis - again you did a super job on getting us some nice knives.
  15. Got my knife today - but no #18.
  16. The magic excites me way more than the Godson.
  17.   Yep on Gabby's. Gotta try the sweet potato fries too.   Jacks is good BBQ and I also like Martin's.
  18. Hydrashocks penetrated well but didn't expand much. Take a look at the images of the retrieved bullets.   I shot 38 SPL Hydrashocks into ballistic gel a couple of weeks ago - I bought new carry ammo the next week. The jacket barely peeled back and expansion was very minimal.    Ballistic gel isn't cheap but it is reusable. Just melt it down and pour into a mold. I've got some ordered so I can do proper testing on my carry ammo in the future.
  19. Never underestimate the wrath of Bubba...   I would replace the Marlin stock - it looks beyond (reasonable) repair at this point. Just removing the epoxy would probably cut the weight in half!
  20. Thanks OS. It's been awhile since I purchased from Bud's - forgot about shipping being included.
  21. I've bought guns at Royal Range that were cheaper than Bud's - comparing prices straight up. Once you compare transfer vs. sales tax, Royal Range was a good bit cheaper.   Edit: forgot about the shipping being included in Bud's prices.
  22.   You'll see lots of Ford 8" axles under TJs. It was a common upgrade, especially from the D35 if you were going to wheel it hard.
  23.   I think it's hard to find a Sahara without a D44. I've read they exist but I've never seen one. Sports can have either the D44 or the D35 so you have to be careful. X and SE models didn't have the D44 option.      Dang, all this Jeep talk has me wanting to do some wrenching.
  24. Sport models can also have a D44. I think it was an option - but I know my Sport has one.
  25. I knew there was virtually no chance they would approve both. That would show how efficient our government could be.   I recall reading about you trying to get multiples approved on another thread; while I was hoping, I knew I had about the same chances as winning the lottery.   The NFA should be done away with. Suppressors and SBRs should be readily available and instantly available. Neither are commonly (or probably every) involved in a crime - other than being stolen by some lowlife. Plus Hollywood has done us no favors with their portrayal of suppressors; people believe you can make a full auto 50 BMG make no noise.
