So, I sold off all of my 223 / 5.56 guns and ammo a few years ago.  Recently bought a gas piston AR, an optic, and some Pmags.  BUT when I went to pick up some ammo, I see a lot of things I don't get.   I usually shot M193 Federal 55gr FMJBT, Now all 193, M or XM, is 55gr FMJ.  Is anyone loading M193with FMJBT?   Also, I see M855 / SS109 62gr green tip "penetrator" that is labeled non=magnetic.  How is steel core penetrator amoo non magnetic?   Any advice on some good ammo for a 1:9 twist melonite barrel wopuld be appreciated

went to see this w/e. Great movie if you were into Rock in the 80's. I would recommend this movie highly. After the movie, a whole bunch of us who were wastching went outside and talked about the music and concerts and growing up in the eighties... I thought it was well worth the ticket price

I have to say, I had a bad (not terrible) experience there the first time I went. and it took me a few years to get back there, but the last time I was ion ther with another member it was much better. I still think the firing line is dirty and needs to be upgraded, but the people were nice, showed me what I wanted to look at, and generally helpful. BUT I am spoiled. If you want to experience GREAT cxustomer service, clean facilities, and good selection, go to Sevier Indoor Range in Sevierville, TN. It is worth the drive from Nashville just to shoot on the range, it is that nice.

GOOD GOD MAN!!!! Yoiu make it sound like you strip down to the reciever and throw everything else away. LOL I would suggest 2 things... First Rinfire central has hundreds of DIY mods to improvethe performance of the "WW Special"Become a member, shoot in the matches, build your gun, BUT do it slowly so you can guage the improvement that mods or bolt ons make before doing the next mod.a good first suggestion is to stone the sear, disconnect, and trigger to make a smoother trigger pull and replace the stock hold down pins with oversize to reduce/eliminate "slop " and side to side movement on the trigger. , drill the mag release and add an extension. stone and smooth the contact points in the reciver/bolt, BIG improvement. The list is endless. and second, JUST SHOOT IT! The 22lr iis cheap, enjoy it. Hillbilly

agree, if you can hit anything with a 230 gr into a half inch entry hole, it aint gonna be a happy day for the bad guy, wild animal, Xombie, car door, refrigerator, large paper target, etv, etc, etc
