I realize there are environments that are hard to penetrate.  My comment above was more directed to online services like Dropbox (which I use by the way).  When you entrust your information to an online service don't do it with blind faith that it will be secure.  And, the government snoops aren't the only ones after your personal data...hackers (I know, dated term) go after cash generating info and sometimes they just like to make people miserable for the fun of it.

If you put information out on the net you should be aware that it is likely accessible to others.

Friends in NJ tell me that to obtain a permit the applicant must demonstrate "urgent need" to possess the firearm for self protection.  The person must show evidence of threats or previous attempts to take their life.  They are not aware of anyone that has successfully obtained one and most don't even try.  Even if a permit is obtained it is only good for two years and the same criteria must be met for renewal.  I don't imagine many renewals are successful either.

I think this is pretty clear...and scary...

  I've raised my two with this rule and it is second nature to them now.  Too many people use nature as a garbage can and it continues to get worse as some many things are increasingly disposable.

Like them both but prefer the Shield.

I imagine the mileage on this thing is something like 5 gallons per mile?  And much less on the water ;-)   Even so I WANT ONE!

I always stick to the "pack out more than you pack in" rule whether fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, whatever...don't litter and pick up when and where possible...

Better to have some good guys with guns than no good guys with guns.
