As a father of 4 young boys, I never had to teach my kids to lie, that comes natural. Teaching to be honest is a task. If grownups today did not have this teaching to be honest, well viola!

Walmart north of Chattanooga is corrupt...

There is a high road and a low road to teach this person lessons of life. I chose the high road. -
I use to think the same, but honestly I think 1 out of 10 tire kickers know their stuff, the other 9 take the bait and are happy. My wife had a rude awakening when she met me. I do my homework on all purchases to the point of being asinine. However, my wife's father is a impulse gullible buyer and absolutely does no homework. I could tell you stories that would make your hair curl! Its unbelievable what bait honest educated people will take.

I for one would not rat this guy out to management. He probably makes $8 an hour, that is $320 a week if he gets 40 hours. By the time he pays for taxes, healthcare, and essential of life, what is left with $20? I would have went up to him and gave him a dose of what integrity, respect, and honesty means to his face, and would have used my outside voice for the world to hear. That could change this person's life. On the other hand, if he gets written up, fired, etc. it just builds bitterness and hate. Just my 2 cents. Plus we are just a few days removed from Christmas. -

Dang gone it, there goes another $10. -
I hope you are playing the Lotto! I had a windfall experience with flex spending several years ago (8 years ago to be exact). For one our of pregnancies, we had to pre-pay the obgen like $800. We used our flex to pay. About 6 months later, after the baby, and insurance paid, we were notified by the doctor's office that we over paid by $300. So the doctors office cut a check. Shhhhh! We pocketed the $300 of pre-tax money, but NSA & IRS that was over 8 years ago.

Forbes predictions begin coming true. 1st Big Chain shutting down.

Shopping at Kmart is somewhat like camping. I just feel dirty after doing both, and I want a shower. -
Good read, but I have never used their facility. My perception of them was laid many years ago. They had the cater to only police officer mentality. Nothing against LEO, but I have seen a many gun businesses in my day, there are LGS that you must have a PHD in for all guns before they will talk to you intelligently, there are LGS that are too busy to talk to you, there are LGS that really don't know squat, there are ones that are too proud of their inventory, and there are the ones that obviously cater to only local LEO. I just haven't been back period.

You got to love a free market. These companies could have changed or adapted their business model to include internet sales. They lack vision. They once had the necessary capital to put any start up internet company out of business. Cudos to the new entrepreneurs that created Amazon, Ebay, Newegg, TigerDirect, Optics Planet, Midway, etc. How did Walmart destroy Kmart and Sears, a vision and determination. But I still contend that a strong U.S. economy with an attitude of protectionism, and likely these companies would not be threatened. -

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha............the silent majority has spoken. I guess ole Phil and the viewing audience has a little more leverage than the other group. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/12/27/duck-dynasty-to-resume-filming-with-phil-robertson-ae-announces/ 'Duck Dynasty' to resume filming with Phil Robertson, A&E announces Published December 27, 2013FoxNews.com Facebook408 Twitter790 LinkedIn1 The A&E Network announced Friday it would resume filming “Duck Dynasty†with Phil Robertson and the rest of his family next spring. Robertson had been indefinitely suspended by the network for comments he made about homosexuality in an interview with GQ Magazine. In a statement released late Friday afternoon, A&E said, “While Phil's comments made in the interview reflect his personal views based on his own beliefs, and his own personal journey, he and his family have publicly stated they regret the "coarse language" he used and the misinterpretation of his core beliefs based only on the article. He also made it clear he would "never incite or encourage hate." The network added that “Duck Dynasty is not a show about one man's views. It resonates with a large audience because it is a show about family, a family that America has come to love. As you might have seen in many episodes, they come together to reflect and pray for unity, tolerance and forgiveness. These are three values that we at A&E Networks also feel strongly about. “So after discussions with the Robertson family, as well as consulting with numerous advocacy groups, A&E has decided to resume filming Duck Dynasty later this spring with the entire Robertson family.â€

We the people could have done many things years ago (and still can), but we the people never did organize to one voice and never did make saving our manufacturing jobs a priority to save. If we the people had organized to protect our jobs like we did for the Great 2013 Gun Scare, we would be sending food today to starving China-men, instead of our jobs. Our country could have levied great duties on anything imported that was already made here. Would we made some countries angry, yes, but who cares. This is our home, our jobs. I doubt seriously if our country was in top financial health from top to bottom, these companies mentioned would not be in any stress. -
I like that.
