1. CNN is likely trying to change its business model.  At the end of the day, CNN is a for profit company, not necessarily the non-profit Clinton News Network.  That ain't Clinton, TN!
2. Surely you mean west south west from Rogersville and the home of Scott Bloomquist don't you?   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Bloomquist
3. Hate begets hate; violence begets violence; toughness begets a greater toughness. We must meet the forces of hate with the power of love. (1958)  Martin Luther King.  https://mlk.wsu.edu/about-dr-king/quotes/   Hate leads to the darkside.  (Long time ago) Yoda.
4. I have seen a sign at this place for installing Glock sights.  Don't know about the rest of Ktown.  They are in Alcoa. http://www.billsoutpost.com/
5. During the great panic and run on ammo early last year, I acquired over 1,000 Lake City brass (military crimp). I bought one of these below. After the acute onset of carpal tunnel, I took my corded drill, placed it in a large vice, and used the bits that came with this hand tool in the drill, then took each piece of brass slowly and carefully. Worked perfectly. Took about 4 hours to do 1,100 pieces. Very clean, very quick, and no carpal tunnel. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/135615/lyman-case-prep-multi-tool?cm_vc=ProductFinding
6. Google earth snapshot of that area, slightly larger:
7. Other than a ocean landing, what landing strips are in this vicinity?
8. The memory loss thing is really starting to bug me.  For a number of years, I have seen a downward slope in my memory.  In the past 2-3 years, I have seen the slope become sharper.  I have mentioned this problem to my doctor, he took note of it, and says welcome to old age.  I use to take great pride in my memory, no need to write down passwords, no need to write down my debit card pw, and definitely no need write down my gun safe combo.  Last night, went to open the gun safe, and had a brain fart, and for the life of me, for a few seconds, could not remember my safe combo.  Then I locked myself out for 5 mins, my safe has one of those electric locks with like 2 grace entries before shutting down.  Errrrrr!   Where will my mind be in 20 years?  Will I discover I love guns then for the first time?  Maybe my wife can just present me with my own guns, as if they are new.  Then I could consider my wife one of the coolest people on earth!  Well, wait a minute, maybe that what she has been doing already!  :stare:
9. Doing a little research using this link:   http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1287557 Looks like the 36 was first issued in 2000 in both a Gen 2.5 and Gen 3.0, see serial number DTH & DUK.  Looks like I can drop this one from the plan. Looks like the 31 was first issued in February 2007 as a 2.0, see serial number CDZ.  In April 2008 it was confirmed at 3.0, S/N CRK. Looks like the 32 was first issued in February 2007 as a 2.0, see S/N CEA.  In April 2008, it was confirmed at 3.0, S/N CRL.
10. I hope you are right, I dont like the 36.
11. I have had a search engine on GB for close to two years now for the 32, 31, and 36 gen2, and only one hit has been made and that was the 32 about 3 weeks ago.  I also have a search engine on Armslist.    I know there are some that laugh about collector value of Glocks, but that wasn't my goal to have a pristine collection, but rather something simple and on a redneck level.  Well, maybe not a redneck level like a Jennings or Lorcin level, but a respectful level like Glock, but shooters and not safe queens.
12. That is good, at least it wasn't snakes on a plane. As you know, a snake takes blame for the fall of man kind! Its not too far fetched, a snake can be blamed for a fall of a plane.
13. I definitely got a lot of feedback from here!  NOT, so I guess no one in TGO land had one or had a opinion one way or another.    Anyway, I did buy one from Academy the other night.  I bought the Yildiz 410 O/U.  It really is a sharp looking and tight O/U.  It comes with 5 chokes and has auto ejectors.  The gun is made in Turkey and is imported by Academy Sports.  My son turns 10 tomorrow, and he thinks he is just getting some electronics or games, and yes he is a Pokemon card collector, and thinks he getting some cards.  He will be in for a big surprise.  I remember when my dad got me my first 410 single shot, I still have it, and its priceless as far as I am concerned.  I hope to take him shooting in about 2 weeks.  Afterwards I will make a small write up on the gun.
14. A very high percentage here!
15. I don't have a 19, 31 or 36. At this point I'm not interested in the long slides or the 2.5 gens. The 19 will be acquired when I find one at a reasonable price. The 31 and 36 though rare, will be acquired when I run across one and at a very reasonable price as well. I'm not just as obsessed now, the 32 just has ate my lunch for about 2 years now.
16. Yes, I am pumped! I finally acquired the gun that I had missing from the little gen2 collection that I have got going on. I don't why this became such a obsessive journey for me. I guess when you want something, and can't find it, but you know there is one out there, it just eats you up. Nothing really special about this gun, other than ~2,000 were made, and it has stamped on the slide "357 Sig". All gen III and gen IV have only "357" stamped. I guess Mr. Glock didn't want to advertise Sig on their glocks. Thats like buying a Ford Mustang from the dealer with Chevy Camaro emblems! The one I purchased, not the one from Armslist I wrote about a month ago, was found coincidentally about a week later on Gunbroker, unfired new in the box. The transaction was from a individual, but ran smooth. Don't ask about the price, it was a premium is all I am going to say. First, this! 17. Based upon this latest information, my money is on the plane landed in Indonesia (worlds largest Muslim country, 209 million).     http://www.mapsofworld.com/world-top-ten/world-top-ten-countries-with-largest-muslim-populations-map.html
18. I heard it on Rush today, and yes it was scripted!
19. I have to be Johnny Raincloud here.   I am glad I am not a Knox County taxpayer.  Lets see the postal stamp costs $0.49 each.  According to this information, there are 23,139 CCW permit in Knox Co as of this story from WATE.  http://www.wate.com/story/17588612/more-people-in-tennessee-may-be-carrying-guns-than-you-think   So if Sheriff JJ Jones sent one of these letters to each, that is ~$11,338 and that does not include the labor to create and mail.  Thats a pretty good trick, use taxpayer money to fund a soft re-election campaign ad.

Sig P229

There were some P229 on the web lately that were a steal, maybe it was Palmetto State or something.  I think like $599 or something.    http://sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/430601935/m/4280057543?r=4280057543#4280057543
22. Not doubting you, but I do not see it.  I am on their FB page now.  What date did they post it.
23. Could this be a inverted Bermuda Triangle?  Meaning take the Bermuda Triangle SE of Florida, is this the same location on the other side of the Earth?  :panic:
24. I refer to old farts alot, but this posting is absolutely true!
