I have always likened to the Sig P series, my P220 and my P228, just fit!  My P6 is the best feeling gun I have ever held.  I shoot Glocks, but I am much more accurate with my Sigs. 

I am just too lazy and fuel cost conscious.  When I click a mouse, and have it delivered with very little effort and at a competitive price, I soon just buy any all hard items via the internet.  For the past 2-3 years, all of my clothing, shoes, and most every other tangible item I buy, has been from the internet. 

Sorry, I can't vote.  I refuse to have anything to do with CNN.  I do not want my IP address recorded at or associated with CNN!  If this is a Fox pole, I will vote over and over again! 

Folks I may be the weird one here and certainly in the ultra low percentages, but the reason I do not sell or trade as a private citizen is that I do not want the risk period, legal risk or a liability risk, or just simple personal responsibility!  I do not want to spend $$$ hiring an attorney to defend either or reading in the paper a gun I once owned was used in a crime.  Flipping a gun to make $50 or $100+ is not worth the risk to me.  Trading a gun for another gun to save or avoid $500 in cash is not worth the risk either.  Every gun I have purchased on a 4473 or not is still in my possession.  I didn't know the risk or respect the risk selling or trading guns until I was a gun dealer 20 years ago and I have seen for myself the risk that can occur.  My kids or heirs will enjoy some toys one day!

If you were looking for a legal and ethical response, yes you did right. 

When I was a dealer 20+ years ago, I made my living on SKS.  Chinese wholesale $29 ea, and retail $59.  Then the Russians were $39, and sold for $69.  Then my source dried up, and I found other sources that caused me to buy Russians around $79, retail $119, I thought that was high.  I sold over 500 SKS rifles if I recall correctly.  Wow what a investment I would have had!

My work causes me to travel to Greenville, SC 1x to 2x a month.  A mile from my hotel is Palmetto State Armory store, Cabelas and a Academy Sports.  I have scored each and every time with no limit on CCI and others.  I don't need any, and its mainly for my elderly father and his buddy who shoots each and every week.

Make sure to big oddly, I usually bid X.55.  I have won a many with the 0.55 increment.  I hate winning bids where I was beaten by $1.  OhShoot is right, the apps hone in on target with 5 seconds to go.  The days of outright bidding is gone.  I have learned as a seller, to have listing ending at about 9pm or 10pm EDT, that way people will watch their bid, and bid more than they should.  Items ending M-F during the daytime, from a buyer perspective, is more attractive and I have been more successful.    Yes I am a dork, I study how I lost items, over, and over again!  I also, can detect certain patterns of items that may have sold way more than they should, and same items that sell for a lot less than they should.   Its a mixture of the seller, time of listing, time of ending, and day of the week the item will end.  Hint, some people have more disposable income around the 1st of the month vs. late in the month.  My :2cents:

Very nice gun.  I too am a sucker for these old sxs!  If cleaning them is bad, then I have been a bad person for a number of years.  As long as there no cosmetic repair made by someone from years past, go ahead clean away!  Some times stocks get cracked from a fall or something, and people used glue to repair.  Some gun chemicals will destroy the glue.  I will let you make 10% if want, ;)

I know where I am in comparison, not very good!

In honor of this weekend and the pending 70th anniversary of D-Day, my 8 year old son wants to watch war movies.  We are now watching Saving Private Ryan.  This is his 1st time watching!  This movie never gets old and is just a great movie.    A BIG thank you to the greatest generation that has ever lived! :usa:
