Walmart tonight

I don't think the hardware is your challenge!
2. Read the book, I would have thought the same, if I had not read it!  I think the movie is about 90% accurate when compared to the book.  The number of times shots is accurate to the book, in fact I recall in the book Luttrell talks of Axelson rear skull was missing and he was still shooting!
3. I like it!  It looks like Glock and Sig made out, and this is their offspring!

Marlin 1936 30-30

Have you checked out marlinowners.com?  I think that site is dedicated to only Marlin.    Welcome to TGO, and thank you for your service!   http://www.marlinowners.com/forum/336/70285-1936-marlin-30-30-a.html
5. Its hard to believe that nothing, I mean nothing, has been found anywhere!  One would have thought that something would have washed up on shore somewhere if it went down in ocean!

KAHR 45

I know each to his own, I can respect that. My litmus test for "handguns" has always been, is it used by real professionals, LEO, Federal, Military, etc. If yes, then its good for me, if not, probably not good for me. I am sure Kahr is good, but it is not me, plus the Moon thing really gets me! You do know that Kahr's CEO's wife is the model in the Kahr's ads don't you: http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?p=41117 http://childrenofsunmyungmoon.blogspot.com/2009/07/sexy-guns-sold-by-moons-son-kook-jin.html
7. That was great!
8. Amazon sent me an email stating they had lowered the price, and since I preordered, I was guaranteed the lowest price, so I got a cool $2 credit!
9. Walmart Madisonville had maybe 50+ @ $24.96, fortunately I ordered Amazon!
10. Just finished.  My wife loved it.  My 5 year old liked it!  Marcus has a cameo I think 4 times in the movie.  I would like to meet him someday, and just shake his hand!
11. I do regret my decision, but at the time, I was not getting rich.  Maybe one day I will return!
12. SOG use to my source of SKS when I was FFL.  I use to order anywhere from 20-100 per order, 1x to 2x a month.  Oh, how I miss that!
13. This is not my buddy's building, but its close, and in the far corner, he has a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, with living room and very well furnished apartment. You would never thought you were inside a metal building!
14. SKS are a fun rifle.  I use to call them a poor man's AK.  I respect them, rather have a AR platform.  20 years ago, you could buy one $39 retail, and these were early 1950s Chinese.
15. Got mine, unfortunately I have to go back to work for a over-seas teleconference call.  I do plan to watch it tonight though!  Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!
16. I too use to laugh off Sushi until I tried it a grand opening ceremony of a Japanese manufacturing company North of Chattanooga 15 years ago.  I love Sushi!
17. My best friend bought 20 acres, and built one of those steel buildings, I think like 60 ft x 30 or something.  In the corner, he built an apartment.  Inside, the apartment, it was very nice, but step out the door to inside the building, a typical steel beam type building, complete with white insulation, and concrete floor.  Step out the front door of the apartment, it looked like any typical industrial style building.  He considered a two story apartment, but he works on items with paint and chemicals, and was afraid of the smell or fumes.  He has lived there now 15 years, and is considering to build his dream home about 100 yards from the shop.
18. First, I am not a dog person!  Second, I have never had this problem, and when growing up, I use to ride a lot bicycle and have seen a many of aggressive on the loose dogs!  There are many ways to avoid or solve the problems!
19. Is it me, or is this a funny self defense story:   http://www.local8now.com/home/headlines/-Husband-wife-in-80s-scare-off-would-be-robber--261577221.html   MILTON, Wash. (AP) A Washington state couple in their 80s say they managed to spook a would-be robber who burst into their home shortly after they returned from a Tacoma casino where they won $500. KOMO-TV reports (http://is.gd/wWGCWW ) Jim and Betty Lilja of Milton wonder whether they were followed home. They say a man in his 20s barged into their home the night of Friday, May 23, with his hand in his pocket. He demanded their money and threatened to shoot. Jim Lilja says he told the intruder he was 85 years old, so "if you want to shoot, go ahead and shoot." When the intruder left them alone in the living room to search the bedroom, the couple ran outside, and Jim Lilja decided to push the alarm button on his car key. That sent the robber racing out of the house and into a waiting car — without the couple's cash. Milton police are investigating.
20. I have collected Gen2s for quite some time.  Only the rarer ones (31, 32, 17L, etc.) will fetch >$450, while most on average in good/excellent condition will fetch $400 +/-.  A 17 with original tupperware and papers, maybe be round $425 at most!  For the uninformed, or one willing to pay more without homework, than any price will work.

Your 1st post topic and the song Marie Laveau have something in common.
22. Thats pretty cool, thanks for posting.
23. Can someone explain the CMP program, process to buy, and places of businesses?  I think I know not everyone can just walk in, lay down the $1K, and walk out, right?
24. No I am not the promoter, but would like to see some good used guns walking around! http://www.gunshows-usa.com/tennesee.shtml
25. On my facebook, what does the 1st paragraph mean?
