1. My wife was home when a woman called yesterday informing her that "my name"'s computer was infected with a special virus.  They actually knew my personal name, which was very weird.  Also, caller id showed the area code as 000.  I believe my wife said the caller had a foreign accent.  Of course my wife sniffed this out as a scam!  Whew......
2. I enjoyed it!
3. I grew up riding 2 stroke dirt bikes.  100% of the time, when the darn thing would not start, it was a fouled plug.  I always kept 2 new ones with me.  Now 30 years later, problem solved with 2 stokes.  I bought a 4 stroke Honda trimmer about 10 years ago, starts every time on one pull!  I do have Stihl leafblower.  Its about 3 years old, usually starts on the first crank, but does start on the 2nd crank.  No plugs changed yet!
4. Just remember Bass Pro is 1/2 mile away, Buds 5 miles away and SMKW 5 miles away.  Thats a road trip.  The RAM memory is just an after thought.
5. I respect the man for taking a bullet for the president, but I agree he and his wife has single handedly did more to harm people like us gun crazies than anyone else!
6. Flea market @ 407 exit.  Use to be a booth inside with tons of used computer parts.  Cheap!
7. Just seen this story on NBC news.  Police called in for crowd control, run on water on stores, long lines, etc.    http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/toledo-issues-do-not-drink-advisory-tap-water-n171236
8. Banned already! Something he said or a former member trying a new identity?
9. I really did take offense when I read this earlier in the week. In my job, I have to converse with people from Ohio, Michigan and over seas. Though I am sure I am the butt of jokes with my accent, but I don't care, its who I am! As a famous person once said, "I yam what I yam..." If society is really concerned, why do we all have lessons to speak like they do in London, England, the queen's accent?
10. I do recommend the incidental insurance as well along with roadside.  I have rented 100s of rentals in my professional career traveling for the company, not one time have I ever had an accident, a scratch, a flat, or any thing else happen.  Not even a conversation or an eye brow raised.  Last October, my son and I were on a quick family vacation together out to San Diego and like the 100s of times before, I rented a car from Budget.  Since this was my dime, I did not take the roadside assistance, and my personal auto insurance would cover me in accident.  Wow I saved $10.  The next morning, went out to the Hotel parking lot to get in my car, had a flat.  I hadn't put 5 miles on the car.  Called the car rental, the first question, did I take the roadside?  No!  We can come out to help you, but its a $100 charge.  So I changed the flat myself and brought the car into the rental since it was a doughnut tire.  They happily switched cars, but I had to see the manager.  He had me fill out a damage report, geezzz its a flat, then he said that will be $30.  I said for what, the repair of the tire.  !@#$@#, lessons learned on my behalf at least for roadside rental coverage on my dime, the next time I rent for myself, this penny pincher will loosen his grip!
11. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention, mark it on your calendar, Hickok45 will be at Buds Sevierville on Sept 20th from 12pm to 3pm. I will be there!
12. A little known secret if you don't care to drive 25 min south of the airport (McGhee Tyson), is Farnsworth Firearms in Vonore.  Since his business has a indoor range, he usually has many brass calibers.  During the great gun/ammo panic of 2013, I was always able to find brass (not 223) at normal pricing and usually at all that I want.  Call before you go.
13. I still like the comparison of Chicago to Houston: http://gunfreezone.net/wordpress/index.php/2013/03/06/a-tale-of-two-cities-chicago-vs-houston/
14. I have a Sig Sauer P6, it is the best fit for my hands, and conceals better than my Glock 23.
15. Legal Brains I have a question?  If successful, will this spill over to TN, meaning will TN will go from Shall Carry to no permitting like Alaska, Arizona, Wyoming and Vermont?

Glock 22 gen2

I like gen2s as well.  So much so, I started a redneck gen2 collection.  Beats collecting shot glasses!  I have in order of purchase 17, 22, 21, 23, 20, 31, and 32.  The 19 is the most common, and is on my radar screen, but I guess I will wait for a good deal, not in an hurry.  The long slides do not impress me.  I think these are the best, and what made Glock the company.
17. The link takes me to my ebay sign on page.  What did you buy?
18. I work in manufacturing, I wonder how this spillage made it out.  Hmmm?  Another human oops!  And we humans want to bring ebola to the U.S.
19. The song King Nothing was released 18 years ago, maybe I was thinking that was a long ago.  Its new in comparison to the albums Kill em All, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets which were released 10-15 years earlier.
20. I find this helpful, its a NRA site: http://www.nrapvf.org/grades-endorsements/2014/tennessee.aspx
21. Stopped by on Monday (7/28) on my way for a 5 day vacation with the family, and I was impressed with the facility potential and current over-all gun inventory.  When the store is fully operational and fully stocked with accessories, this will be good mecca pilgrimage for the serious gun folk!  I did like the gals at the registers that said "Welcome to Buds!"  this is a change from other gun stores.    However, I was not impressed with the hired counter helped, or at least two different sales guys.  First, I was wanting to fondle and handle a Sig P320, since I am in the market.  An older upper 60ish gun PhD counter help gentleman finally helped me, after a 5 min wait.  He was not familiar with what I asking for, he had to ask someone vs. looking himself.  The inventory expert or manager said no they did not have one, but while he was saying that, I spotted one on the wall to the left of the P250.  Hmmmm???   The sales guy handed it to me, after saying I guess we do have one.  Very nice gun to my hand.  As soon as he perceived I was not going to buy the mid $550ish gun, he became impatient and moved on to the next guy to my left who was looking at cheap $250ish gun, even before I handed him back the gun Hmmmmm?  He did not even offer to show me anything else, or ask or push the basic sales 101 questions.  Oh well........... new opening, new employee, busy counter, old guy, he is excused.  Then I casually walked over to the AR section, a young salesman who was more interested in his cell phone than me, finally broke away to help me.  I wanted to see a Colt AR15-A4 if they had one, since I know the KY website usually has some.  Well, he did know it was a 20" barrel rifle (I'm impressed), but that was about it.  He had to call someone on the phone to ask if they had one, which took about 2 min, vs. looking at the inventory.  This time I could not spot one, though those 20" rifles stick out, but they had maybe ~5 on the wall, and none appeared to have the standard Colt hand guard.  Well, none in stock per the mystery person on the phone, and the sales guy took his word and so did I.  New store, new guy, 20 year old, more interested in his cell phone, and I'm in a good mood, he is excused too.   I do need to say the store was very busy with people galking at the pistols, but none at the long guns.  The time was around ~12:30pm.  Not sure if some of you TGO folk were there are not, I did look for TGO decals on the rear of cars and trucks, but none to be found other than my own.  This place when 100% will be nice, once the store is fully operational, stocked and the hired help finds their sales skills and product knowledge.  I give them    + for potential and I am usually very critical of gun stores.  My :2cents: for what it is worth.
22. Sig P320 Compact!
23. Like an older Metallica song, be careful what you wish, you just may get it!  Zombie lovers alert, your wish maybe coming to a community near you.    Agree US facilities are the best, but the human element of oops is always present.
24. NRA members get discounts at some rentals.
