Good timing, here is Walmart's ad (it may be my local store in Madisonville): http://www.walmart.com/store/366/weekly-ads?veh=eml&adid=1500000000000039419090&flyer_run_id=39798&flyer_type_name=ad&sent_time=1415773740000&e_id=db2ce46051e258ecf4546c14ee86b7b2&campaign_id=mbb-1970902_00000

For others sake, I hope you are right. I for one don't sell, don't trade, and I don't ever see me buying a 80% lower. Thanks.
-
I think its a long term marketing strategy. Who would have bought the G42 in 380 if the 9mm came out first? Not as many that already has bought one. But now when the 9mm version comes out, how many will still buy the 9mm and have the 380? Quite smart I think.

Little over 2 weeks away. Found this one this evening on facebook, I am sure the 22LR bucket will be a deal and warrant a wrap around line into the store. What other deals do you know of? http://www.slickguns.com/product/gander-mountain-black-friday-2014-ad-scans

So basically what you are saying, there is no specific law protecting, or persecuting. If you do build a 80% lower, finish it without any intent of building to sale or trade, and then afterwards you simply do not like the finished product, you can sell it or trade it without any legal concern whatsoever, civil liability is a different matter if the next person encounters a claim from craftsmanship. So if I did build one, didn't like it, and sold it, and later was arrested on trumped up charges, and paid $1000s of dollars for my defense, and in the end win, was it worth it? So if I am correct with my new assertion, then I do stand corrected? But, then no real legal advice is being offered one way or another by anyone here, so I am really on my own to make the correct and final judgment! ;)

How about this point #12, its not clear, but is cloudy: http://www.atf.gov/content/contact-us/pressroom/receiver-blanks-Q%26As

Do either of you care to state a law for or against? My comment is based upon some other information that I read, I will try to find it.
-
One thing for sure, if you do complete a 80% lower, you will never be able to legally sell it or trade it. If you do want one off the grid, simply buy like mentioned above, from someone at a gun show who doesn't want a bill of sale or papers.

I have the same on a my A2. Funny this thread was posted, because I'm in the market for a sling, and was considering the same since I like the one already on my A2. I did find these at a reasonable price, I assume they are the same: http://www.charleyssurplus.com/army_military_field_gear/slings/M16A2%20SLING

I for one, do believe OBL died as highly publicized or someone or some group like Al Jazeera would have had many post stories debunking the U.S. gov. account, and would have had a field day with the information. Many other U.S. hater countries and their media would have done the same. I do understand the many conspiracy theories or alternative story lines that develop after a major event, like who really shot Kennedy, we did not walk on the moon, Elvis did not die, OJ didn't do it, 9/11 the buildings were already rigged with bombs, and my most recent favorite, the Republicans win was not a wave, but a few disgruntled local elections where the democrat was simply beat. Its understandable of these ideas, but are these accurate stories? Obvious to some Yes, but the great majority, no. Some would argue we the public are sheep, just dumb and being led, which I do agree with to the most part, but some things do happen they way they are reported. We either choose to accept or reject based upon trusted 1st hand information with others, or whatever the reason is. Will we ever know with 100% accuracy, doubt it, but does it really matter at the end of day? Its what you believe in! Hmmmm reminds me of something else about having faith in something.........You either choose or not choose. -
First, I am not a 1911 guy. To be someone who is well into guns, I have never owned a 1911. It is truly on my next 12 mos purchase gun purchase plan, if not sooner. Regarding Sigs, I am a diehard Sig guy, love'm, currently own more than I care to admit, but I have read, and read, many 1911 gun forums over the course of the past 2-3 years, for the life of me, I cannot understand why Sigs version of 1911 has no respect, and very little discussion on those boards. I have read those forums so much so, they have kinda pushed me towards what I will likely buy, a Dan Wesson 1911 Valor. Though not a Ed Brown, Les Baer, Wilson, or a Colt Historical, the CZ owned Dan Wesson brand is always is in the top 5 of serious discussions as the best value 1911 amongst die hards, and its a $1500-$2000 gun. I do read about Kimbers, Springfields, Colt (modern), Rugers, and more, but never Sigs, and I still do not why. Can anyone enlighten us?

Getting in shape, round's a shape right?

I am watching this with great interest. I too have reduced to almost zero any carbonated beverages, just fell of the wagon this past week after about 2 month hiatus. I drink mostly coffee, water with lemon, and would like to get rid of my addiction to milk. Not much of a tea guy. -
Our final cut was 3-4 weeks ago, I did lay down 50 lbs of seed today.

I have mixed emotions too. I did patronize the No Easy Day book, the movie Zero Dark Thirty, and the BluRay Zero Dark Thirty. Not sure if this guy contributed to those items, but someone got my money. I do understand the comment that was made on 60 minutes the other night from pen name Mark Owen (Matt Bissonnette), that if retired generals, former Secretaries of Defense, and other higher ups can leak classified information for $$$, why can't a an enlisted person do the same. To me, anyone that signs a NDA (non-closure agreement) to protect our nations secrets, and violates these secrets, then are they not traitor? Do we not have laws on the books for this. I say prosecute to the fullest if evidence supports! Then leaks would certainly be reduced. -
Here is my solution, balance your household income into the normal buckets or envelopes of moneys, gas, elec, food, car payment, savings, Christmas, vacation, clothing, house, etc., in all seriousness, make sure what really matters is covered without exception! Then do like I do, also have a bucket or envelope for "fun" separate from the Mrs. bucket or envelope for "fun". Then the "fun" money you set aside, use it for fun. Unfortunately, in my case the F was transposed with G, and I have a "gun" money bucket. Its been this way for years, and it works. Each year I set off to buy at least 1 or 2 new guns a year with my G money, problem is that I sell other items in my garage that I turn around and buy guns and gun stuff with, which in the end I end up buying 2 or 4 guns. Layaways at Buds don't help!

Each of my 4 sons have a Sportsman license. Great deal if they grow up and stay in Tennessee.

Since this board is a gun board, I make the comparison this way. If you had a choice between a Lorcin or Davis 380, or a Glock 17 or a Sig P226, which would you choose? I have owned my 7.3 since 2002, still going very strong!
