1. Same here, did not work yesterday, working today.
2. There is a back way to Buds without having to get on the dreaded Hwy 66 or managed the 407 exit on 40 if you are coming from Knoxville:
3. Hey, I know how you feel.  I hate thieves.    This happened to me about 20+ years ago, but I did make off.  I am sure I have told this story before here, but this is what happened.  Similar situation, and this time I left my wallet in my ashtray.  Which is something I don't do then and I have not done since.  However, I have a sudden moment of dishonesty too.  The police officer was taking my report, they took my radar detector, CDs, and my wallet.  Officer asked if I had any cash in my wallet ........I immediately without hesitation said about $300 in cash  (which in reality I had only maybe $5).  I have no clue why I said that.  2-3 days letter my wallet was found, and no cash.  Oh well, I got back my cc cards, drivers license and a few pictures.  Months later, I got a call from the LEO dept, they had caught the thief, and they wanted me to attend court.   In the end, it was not one person but three young men, and it was not the guy or guys I had stereotyped as I walked into the courtroom, but the three very prim and proper young men in suits with fresh haircuts sitting exactly beside me.  They pleaded guilty to breaking in to about 10 cars that night and promised to pay restitution of $2K and $3K I think for everyone's loss.  Several more months later, I received a couple of checks for the cost of the radar detector, music CDs and my $300 cash.
4. Consider where you live, I would seriously check out GT Distributors.  They always have great deals, and police trade ins.  Consider this is the week of Black Friday, coupled with their low prices, you can probably get a well good brand name AR complete without building in the $600-$700 range.
5. Well said, and I 100% agree.
6. They prey on the weak and uninformed.
7. Like I said I hope I am wrong.  Hope you are right.
8. I hope I am wrong, but the trap has been set, and some unsuspecting soul will shoot their pistol from the shoulder amongst strangers, and a lurking stranger will take a picture or simply turn to him and say let me see your papers for the SBR, while holding the handcuffs in one hand.  Again, hope I am wrong.
9. 870 from the 80s and 90s for sure.  Again, it depends on what you want to do with it.
10. Here is Buds.com black friday: http://www.slickguns.com/product/buds-gun-shop-black-friday-leaked
11. I dropped 6350 dimes on a something that I have been wanting for some time.  Its perfect for what I wanted.  Now the jury is out where this will go.  After shooting Sig P220 and Glock 21 for a some time now, I may not like it, but considering how rabid some 1911 guys are, I have feeling I will become rabid.  If so, knowing how I am, I will likely venture into the high end at some time.  Maybe the low end just to see the hub bub.
12. Long periods without electricity, hmmmm: -Cell phones won't work -internet won't work   That will just make the dumb public mad!  China better not poke that bear!
13. If its trouble, Biden says for me to use my Hunter Arms Double Barrel, but I prefer my Winchester 1300 Defender!  If its bad, I will give the Defender to the wife, and use my M4.  Then if the SHTF is at my door, then I will give each of my boys a AR and then I will reach for ...........itty bitty miney mo.......you probably do not want to know.
14. Man, that looks nice.  I know the hard work.  I watched my father do this once on a 22LR rifle 30 years ago, and he worked on it all winter.  He took a block walnut and made a stock.  Turned out great, I only wished he kept it.
15. Its hereeeeee! Received a notice yesterday it shipped 2nd day, and the tracking number said it would be here Monday. Oh well! Today at lunch, just checked the delivery number again, and WOW, it was out for delivery to my LGS. After work, swung by, and yep it was there. Paid the transfer and TICS, and yep I am now a proud member of the 1911 club, I plan to shoot it next week. Less than 96 hours after I pressed enter on the computer and now its in my possession. Now to fill out the rebate papers for the $100 and I will then have ~$634 OTD price. That was a good deal, I think. Here are some pics. 16. At least you spelled Beretta correctly in your topic.  That other post on Beretta just bugs me on the misspelling.
17. I don't doubt one bit, there are significant differences between a high end and low end on cosmetics, feel and some actual performance enhancements.  For the 80% of us, there is probably not enough measurable difference to justify the price gap, so the real answer must be along the following lines:    -Why does one need a BMW or a Mercedes over an inexpensive car.  All will get you from point A to point B? -Why does one need a 4,000 sq foot house over a trailer.  Both have kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms? -Why does one need a Under Armour apparel over the same stuff made by Walmart.  Both are clothing. -On, on, on......   Could it also be a status symbol?   For the ones who can not afford the finer things in life, they become content and will justify their purchases with any and all means without simply stating the obvious reason for the purchase, and for the ones that can afford the finer things in life, they become content too, and will justify their purchases with any and all means without simply stating the obvious reason for the purchase?  Just more of my :2cents:
18. Make sure there is no junk in your die.
19. Both Buds.com and Grabagun has some in stock: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=ruger+super+redhawk&osCsid=t1ecklnq5j2vm7h7vjbi2gi4f3&x=0&y=0 https://grabagun.com/salesperson/result/?q=ruger%20super%20redhawk&Trigger=ac
20. At least you were not in the 1st batch of of the TN HCP 20 years ago, it took 6-8 mos to get the card due to the volume and state being unprepared.  Talk about pins and needles.
21. Oh I did receive this in my email last night, and I heard it on the news. Walmart has already placed their tvs on sales. Staring at 8am today. I am going after that 40" tv for $115 or should I say my wifeee is. Maybe two of them. :pleased:
22. Would this work on anything, other than guns?
23. The Ruger Super Redhawk in the 10 1/2" is on my radar screen, my 10 year out radar though, but at least its on the list.  I have wanted one ever since I sold a couple when I was in the biz!
24. That was funny
25. Here is a FDE for a few dollars less, and their shipping should be <$10. http://grabagun.com/sig-sauer-r516g2-16b-srp-fde-sig516-srp4281.html
