I wish they would follow the business model of PSA in Greenville, SC. My work takes to me Greenville from time to time. That place is liken to a full service bar for a fall off the wagon alcoholic. It has just as many guns if not more as Buds, it has a outstanding black rifle dept. with uppers, lowers, accessories, etc. Has plenty of reloading supplies, powder, dies, sets, etc. Has huge selection of optics, and many other tactical supplies. Large ammo area, with just every wild cat ammo I have seen. Just recently got in class 3 items, many many cans. They also have huge selection of safes, clothing, and hunting supplies. BTW, they have a huge indoor gun range, and large selection of rentals. That place is great destination, and only little over 2 hours from Knoxville. Maybe Buds in Sevierville will follow, maybe they are trying to cash flow the accessories, or just confirming the business model they have set will carry forward with the business plan expectations. The 1st year, is just the honeymoon, after the 1st year, they will probably see how the model they have setup is performing. Just my :2cents:

Thank you very much for posting this. I would have not known about this movie unless you had posted this. Was up early this morning, and decided to watch the movie on Amazon. Absolutely outstanding! This movie was very somber and full of a solace. I knew it was a sacred and honorable journey, this movie showed me it was more than I expected. "I didn't know Chance Phelps, but I miss him". My beard is soaking wet! http://www.amazon.com/Taking-Chance-Kevin-Bacon/dp/B007Q35982/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417005993&sr=8-2&keywords=taking+chance

That previous Buds Black Friday still a little fishy, but I did receive this flier from Buds advertising their Black Friday last evening:

By buying online, your local guy should only charge you two fees, his FFL fee and the TN TICs fee $10. If your experience is something different, then something stinks.

Is your inhouse setup the bottleneck? I'm no expert, but I have some family members try the sat. internet, wasn't too good.

Oh, I did find this 10/22 in BassPro 6 hour sale on Friday, not sure how this stacks up to Wally's 20% off:

I looked around on the net, looks like this is best deal I can see so far: $229.95 + $10 Shipping, then you should be able to find a FFL that will charge $20 + $10 TICS, so that is a $269.95 OTD. Buds in KY has them for $259, but you still have to get a FFL and TICS fee. Check out Walmart, 20% off all guns this Friday, but you will have TN sales Tax + $10 TICS. Good Luck. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=449765813

If someday I find a home built AR rifle on the cheap, I mean really on the cheap, and it is reliable, I will place it my truck. Also, if I lived on a farm, I would always have a 30/30 in the truck.

I didn't have much room left, here is a pic of my Colt M4 and my Sig M400: -

I had to look, and yes I agree over the magwell. -
I am getting there. Though I love food, I hate it too. My church just had a Thanksgiving meal about a week ago, I just ate too much, and swore off food. Well that lasted about 12 hours, love it and hate it.

Oh I should have said that was about 5 yards, and those cheezy circles were just general area, and does not reflect the actual shot pattern.

UPDATE, Range Report On vacation this week, and finally got down to my local indoor gun range. Lets say it was a 45 day, because I took my Sig P220 Carry, Glock 21 Gen2 and my new Colt 1991. I brought both factory ammo and reloads. I went ahead and shot the Sig first, then the Glock, and then the Colt. My first impression, I was impressed with the measurable recoil difference between the Sig and Colt, advantage Colt, Glock was in 3rd. I really tried to focus on the trigger feel, and the Sig in single action felt better than the Colt, but the Colt was sweet, and all had a clear predictable crisp break point. Accuracy, well this is what I was amazed at, I was much better with the Colt than the Sig, and the Glock was all over the place today. In the end I shot maybe 100-200 rounds, with 2/3 being with the Colt. Conclusion, I was very impressed with the Colt, and how it shot, and I loved the balance feel of the 1911. I will likely still carry my Sig or one of the Glocks as my concealed carry, but the Colt will make the line up time to time. I have already purchased a Crossbreed Supertuck for it, just in case it makes to the rotation of which I am confident it will. I am very pleased with the purchase, and now I will ponder what to buy next. I will have to have one more, in order to make a fair A to B comparison. I have had a search engine on ebay now for 3-4 months, and it appears for seasons 1-8 it runs about $200 to $250 (56 DVDs), and it appears that seasons 9-10 have been released, but season 11 will be released in Dec. 2014 and the other 8 seasons ?? (total 20 seasons) as per Wikipedia. Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunsmoke On Amazon you can buy seasons 1-8, and I have seen this set as low as $199. Its been in my cart for awhile. As of this post, it was showing $249. Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Gunsmoke-Seasons-1-8/dp/B00BCJR9LQ/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1416937867&sr=8-11&keywords=gunsmoke+dvd+set

You must be scrawny, if a car hit me, there would be severe damage (to the car)! One of Newton's laws sure would be applied, Force=Mass x Acceleration.

Maybe a 30-40 minute drive, but in Vonore, Farnsworth has $20 transfer fee + $10 TICS.

Blowing the dust off this post. My barbershop is running several series of Gunsmoke on their TV, and I have rediscovered this show. I remember as a little boy watching this with my Dad. I had thought about Santa getting me the entire series of DVDs, wow that it is expensive, but its a lot of DVDs. However, Youtube seems to have every episode. For the past week I have been watching a lot of Gunsmoke. Man, they just don't make tv like this anymore. I think this show probably contributed a wee bit to my obsession of guns in some matter, or at least that is my story. Oh this show, and those pesty green plastic army men when I was a kid too.
