Very sad. I have the complete DVD set in my ebay watching for the kids. I want my kids to enjoy what I enjoyed growing up.

That is awesome. I have a small similar collection that my dad passed to me years ago. My wife doesn't understand, she says cash them in. I have repeatedly said no. Unless the kids are starving.

Benton's is one of the best gun and accessory MUSEUM in East Tennessee. Many people go there, look, listen, feel, and learn, but leave empty handed. They buy elsewhere! Truly they make some money, they have a ton of employees, and the parking lot is packed on Saturdays. Too me (non scientific) their targeted audience are two types: Extremely low gun info people; and those people who shop at Gander Mtn.

We are believers in my house. Watched The Passion last night, I still cry during the scourging. Its wonderful there was a empty tomb!

May you and your wife find hidden blessings from the troubles that you had last month. Proverbs 19:14 House and wealth are inherited from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the LORD. -
I wanted to get married on April 1st or February 29th. Didn't happen! Congrats!

Wife and I bought a new place 6+ weeks ago. Was fortunate enough that we did not have to sell our other place, but we decided to rent it. Been moving stuff and more stuff for weeks, and the gun safe was the last item to move. This was yesterday to move the last item! Its a 60"x40"x30" type heavy heavy safe. She and I actually moved it the first time maybe 14-15 years ago. This time, she called my brother to take her place. All I can say is moving the safe was tough, no issues, but I am sore just tugging and pulling. We used PVC pipe and used an enclosed trailer that had a loading ramp. Thankfully no steps anywhere, but had a door threshold that had about 2-3" drop, but used a 2" diameter PVC for that. Was able to transport the safe in an enclosed trailer with heavy duty straps. Then had two thresholds at the new house with sliding glass doors to go through. Had to use wood and planking around the runners of the glass doors to avoid damage. Safe is now in place on concrete, and finished up anchoring the safe using 3/4" diameter wedge anchors late last night that I found at Home Depot. Thankfully had a hammer drill, piece of cake to drill 4-6" deep into the concrete. Conclusion, my kids can move the safe next. And if I buy another, which I do need one, I will gladly pay for the installation! Feels good to have the guns back in the safe location!

Well, I guess I have to admit my wife and kids basically live there. My work does it annual picnic there and the annual passes are like $25 for us. I myself go for the picnic, and may 1-2 times more a year. But wifee and kids go about every other week beginning in April. Its a lot of fun for the kids, and adults too if you like the shows. I have been going there ever since it was Gold Rush Junction, and before that it was the Golden Spike Railroad (I think). To me its nice for family, especially the working man family. But if you like the finer things in life, I would recommend DW.

+1 on the tumblers tumbler. Its a tank that does 360 over and over and over and over. Unless you do bulk, then get a cement mixer from Harbor Freight.

Every young man in that age must have a 410 single shot. Leave the centerfire to later. Don't rush him to grow up.

Saw this on FB this morning, but a lot of people were telling Larry this stuff wasn't the banned stuff because the picture did not show green tips.

I recommend watching ebay for night sites if you are not in a hurry. Here was a good post awhile back on a deal: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/80895-deal-alert-sig-night-sights/?hl=%2Bsig+%2Bnight+%2Bdeal

I have used H&R Block that I buy the electronic version from Wally for many many years, no complaint. I already got my refund back and it this year was the fastest ever, only 6 days, received it on Sunday in my bank account. I did learn a lesson this year, if you have sold real estate like in investments, buy the deluxe version, and not the basic. I did have a little problem with my 1099S this year, and the basic software was not a lot of help, but the deluxe was.

Back in 2008, Toyota was on the brink of bringing to market a 3/4 ton diesel Tundra. Then the great recession hit, and they pulled the plug. I heard recently that may be back on the radar screen again. I work in the OEM industry mainly japanese, and the company I work for has major chassis components. I worked on the project 7 years ago. I have driven a Ford F250 Diesel (7.3) now for 13 years that I bought new in 2002. If Toyota does bring this idea to market, I will buy one. Otherwise I will buy another Ford diesel in about another 5-7 years from now.
