Like to see valet parking attendants park that.

Norton here, not 1 issue in 5 years, and I have house of full of people surfing who knows what 24/7. I also don't allow anyone to use the admin side, so no one can download or can respond to any admin credentials. Even I don't use the admin site, until absolutely necessary.

For anyone living in the Knoxville area, and is trying to save a penny in flying, DO NOT FLY KNOXVILLE (ever). Nashville is by far the best. The 2 1/2 hour drive is well worth the hundreds you save. Trust me! Small story, we flew a family of six to Hawaii 3 years ago, and flew out of Atlanta. We saved $600 a person and booked 30 days out with non-refundable tickets using the same airline. I will drive 3 hours any day to save $3600. Knoxville airport is 1/2 hour away, and Atlanta is 3 hours away. A no brainer, but I will say after 8 days in Hawaii with small kids, that 3 hour drive from ATL to home was a pain, but that $3600 sure soothed the pain.

I know you are in middle Tennessee, but to me there is no better camping than Indian Boundary Campground in the Cherokee National Forest. http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/cherokee/recreation/recarea/?recid=35150&actid=29

I found myself a recipient of a 30S in the past 30 days from someone here on TGO, wasn't even looking for one, but I have to say it is a perfect EDC. I have took my 23 and P6 on standby until this honeymoon is over. Great choice.

I remember of coming of age from my Camaro as a daily driver to my truck as a daily driver. Good looking truck!

I liked him when I was in grade school. Lots of friends wore his shirts, 35+ years ago. Whats up with these old wrestlers croaking?

Order from them? Nah, I just like to give 1/4 of may salary to them every once and awhile. No risk!

UFOs beware, no trespassing! No threats, but beware lead meteors can fall from the sky, and the odds of one smashing a UFO in my neck of the woods are slightly elevated. That is all, you are warned, ignorance of the warning is not an excuse. :2cents:

TN Attorney General Opinon On Park Property

I like it! -
Maybe I am too cheap, but I have not a bought a "new" gun from a brick and mortar in years, but I have bought many "new" guns in the past 3 years alone. Buds online is one of my favorite places along with Grab-a-gun, and Gunbroker is great too. If you have discipline and patience, and want to save a buck or two, that is the way I roll. I will admit places like Buds in Sevierville, and places like Bentons are great places to touch and feel, but online is my preferred manner for new guns. :2cents:

Its no coincidence that I have 9 Crossbreeds, and only 2 are for the same gun. Excellent holsters! I have one for my every day rotation in my stable of EDC choices! http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/ Or http://crossbreedseconds.com/

Eotech G33 are they worth the money?
runco replied to MrBrian's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
All of the reviews from Amazon are excellent. I personally, have no experience with them. From reading this morning there is a G45 set to release soon. Not sure of your price range, but Optics Planet has them for ~$520, usually with free shipping and no sales tax. If you will watch Optics Planet, you can get a 10% of coupon every now and then. Maybe like them on FB, or sign up for email deals, usually new people will get the 10% coupon. I have snagged some good deals on my Eotechs and Aimpoints this way in the past, and Optics Planet is usually has the best price, and I think is an official retailer for those items. Have to be careful on the internet due to fakes, stay away from ebay. -
Try Monroe county. I have lived here 15 years, and recently found my secluded large tract of land. It can be found, don't expect to have a 10 min. drive to the mall though.

Threading "hunting" bolt actions advice
runco replied to Rebels010's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
If these guns are nostalgic to you, I would not modify them in anyway that is destructive, and if this matters, the value of these guns will erode considerably. But on the other hand, if these are merely tools to get the job done, and you have no desire to buy a threaded barrel gun instead, then do to them as you wish. Based upon on the other post, not sure you have accomplished the goal of safe hearing. My take by just asking the question, you have apprehension in the first place. -
Gunman opens fire in Lafayette, LA Movie Theater
runco replied to tennesseetiger's topic in General Chat
Another attention diverter. While traction was being made on the Chattanooga shooting tragedy, now the media and low information populous will turn their attention to this. Just sad. -
I want back my 30 seconds it took to read that article. Tonto!

L.A. police find stash of 1,200 guns in dead man's home

Wife and I have some friends who just are not bright or on guard for scams like this. Someone called our friend year ago about a virus detected on her computer, he too had a Indian accent. She gave them the credentials necessary over the phone for the guy to do a remote in while she stayed on the phone, she said for the next 2 hours this guy worked on her computer as she watched. He then said they were done, and have a nice day. About 2 days later she started to think this may have been a scam. Took her computer to someone, they didn't find anything, and she was relieved. About a week later once my wife told me this story. I asked our friend if she paid bills on line, used any type of password service like Norton, or uses Turbo Tax or something from previous years, and she said yes to all my questions. I told her that they likely downloaded all of her tax returns, passwords, etc. She was sick, but to date she has no apparent misuse of her SSN or other information, but she also may not admit anything to me anymore because I kinda of scolded her hard for her own good. I don't think she took to my scolding. I further informed her I compare this intrusion to like some stranger claiming to be a police officer in plain clothes who knocked on her door, and said they detected she may have been broken into, they needed to do a sweep of the home. After a two hour search going through her personal belongings and looking into each room, they said nope nothing wrong, have a nice day, I said would you have let this happen? She said of course not, then don't ever let a stranger into your computer.

No my approach is not the gun control approach, but rather personal responsibility. When you as an individual sell/trade to Joe Smole, he may give you the necessary credentials and such, but yet he may not be 100% truthful or he may be genuine and trade your piece on down the road to someone without the same due diligence that you had. I get this is all legal and such, and I am not advocating this practice to stop, but for "ME" and "ME" alone, I just don't care for the personal responsibility or potential scrutiny that may come from a investigation. I take gun ownership very serious both as a right to own, but also the great responsibility of disposition if and when this separation has to occur. When I was young, I use to dabble in guns before I became a FFL, and then I made a living for a while as a FFL over 20 years ago. Being a FFL is different than selling/trading as a individual (my opinion the legal risk is less for FFL), but as an individual the reason people get rid of their guns are to either to flip it with a margin, get rid of a regret gun for another gun, trade up using negotiating skills, or just cash out. I for one don't need to flip a gun for a $50 margin here or there, cash out, or trade, my nutty reasons to keep them all include I really have a great passion for each gun I own, each gun I own has a story, and finally because I think the personal liability potential (not worried about criminal liability) in a civil matter as well as a conscious guilt matter is too much for this backwoods gun nut guy to take. So no trades, no sell, no risk! My respectful collection will be passed on to my sons with some level of piece of mind. So gun control, no, on the contrary, just plum nutty! :screwy:

To: Runco from Dec-2013, From: Runco from July-2015 just purchased this speedvault, and I must be the first here to buy one and review it, or no one else gives a flip....... Seriously, finally bought one this past week. Ebay has them now in the $120 range or less, but buyer be warned, some retailers are charging TN sales tax. Anyway installed it, and for what it is, and its main purpose I give it a     . Like the light feature, the mute feature, and backup key. Mounting was a piece of cake. Like it so well, I am probably going to order a 2nd one for underneath this computer desk. This kid proof safe beats the other models that I have tried by the same company. This is not intended to take place of a Fort Knox by any means, but if you have kids, and still need a piece of mind that you can get to your piece quickly, this is a excellent choice. Crowbars, flathead screwdrivers, or just women with man hands probably can still get in it, but like I said for its purpose, its a homerun. :2cents:
