  1. I really need to find a buck finder.  I just use the internet to find ranges.
  2. Several years ago, after watching a lot of Hickok45 videos, had to go out and buy some ballistol to see what the hub bub was all about that he pushes.  First, I found it challenging to find ballistol on the shelf at the box stores and local gun dealers.  So on one of my many orders with Midway, I just added some ballistol to the cart.  Upon arrival, one thing is for sure, it does not smell like my favorite Hoppes #9 or another favorite 3-in-One.  Ballistol to me smells not in a favorable way and borderline stinks.    After using ballistol for sometime now, the smell is my only complaint, otherwise good stuff or at least that is my perception.  Now I admit, I have not made a deep dive detail X to Y comparison of ballistol to other oils/cleaners, nor have I ran extensive tests in labatory settings, but my self proclaimed conclusion, ballistol  does appear to work and it has not disappointed me.  Will I buy again, well..............not enough data for me to consider a repurchase or run out to buy stock in the company.  I think the next gun oil/cleaner purchase will be WD40 Specialist.  Just to add another notch in the gun oil/cleaner belt.  :2cents:
  3. I have traditional hunting rifles, but I just might try my AR.
  4. I was burnt out on flying long before 9/11 and the recent stuff.  Traveled way too much for the company in the 90s.  Now I would rather just have a finger nail pulled off than to fly.
  5. I am flushed with ammo, but one cannot have enough.  However, I struggle with the great struggle within, when one has extra clams, do you buy another hard ware or go after the ammo?     I reload too, but I also like having extra factory ammo too.  I also like buying other new guns.  So the tug-of-war is tough!
  6. I love my P220 Carry.  Its my best feeling pistol I own, and I shoot it the best.
  7. +1 on the 19.  I have the 19, 23, and 32, plus the others, and for carry can't go wrong with this size.
  8. Great promo!  If I lived in your area, I would want to see this play, seems funny and interesting.   Good job!
  9. That was funny.  This reminds me of a Dolly Parton story, she once said she entered a Dolly Parton look alike contest in Texas, and finished 2nd.
  10. My father uses just another rifle scope mounted on a block of wood that he keeps on his shooting bench table.  He is cheap! He says he found the variable scope that won't hold center, but on a block of wood it works great.
  11. I might have to check that out.  I know anxiety builds when I am a sleep and my current alarm goes off.
  12. Don't worry about which way the wind blows, do like me, I keep them all in my stable:  9mm, 40, 45, 357Sig, 10mm.  I'm not a wheel man, or I would have 38SPL, 357Mag, 44, etc.  This way I am covered whatever side of the bed I wake upon.
  13. These are wireless and AA battery driven.   Lots of good customer reviews, and I have to agree.   http://www.amazon.com/Chamberlain-CWA2000-Wireless-Motion-System/dp/B002ISVJL6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448155308&sr=8-1&keywords=driveway+alarm
  14. Your lucky the headlights shine in your room.  My driveway is about 1/4 mile long, up a semi mountain, with tight turnaround.  I finally broke down and purchased two of those driveway alert systems.  They work great.  The reason for two, I have one at the entrance, and then one 1/2 way up.  This way if both alarms are triggered, then its legit.  Already been awoken to many of a deer or something triggering just one, but not two.  I have a spot light and shortgun and AR waiting for the two alarms in the middle in the night.  At least they will see that what I have.
  15. My point, it is legal to sale post FFL transaction, the article made out that this was the final point of a legal sale, which is not true.
  16. Let me see, last legal sale from a licensed dealer, hogwash! Legal sales can and do occur on down the chain, get the facts straight. Trigger locks makes the firearm useless, hogwash. Give a criminal a drill, bolt cutters, or screw driver, and it can be used, get the facts straight. Just my 2 cents.
  17. 380 is like buying a v6 mustang less turbo or supercharger
  18. Op hope that is only a paper hole puncher rifle.
  19. I'm not worried about the limit, I'm worried about just 1.
  20. I had 0 experience of reloading as of December 2012.  After I made my decision to reload, I found this information listed in the below TGO link to be invaluable and 3 years later and several thousand reloads later, (I still have all of my phalanges & oculuses) still a great resource:   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/52802-getting-into-reloading/page-1   Then go to Dolomite_supafly post (#8), I followed most of his recommendations other than I will with stainless steel media and tumbler.
  21. Agree with you.  I have had some of the same experience.    Best mags on the market for Sigs are Mec Gar!
  22. OS you could be on to something about Lucky Gunner Ammo,   This article from Colorado, see link below,  says that Lucky Gunner Ammo was sued by one of the parents who lost a loved one in the Colorado shootings awhile back.  The article reads that the street address on Cedar Bluff road actually is the UPS store.  There is more:   >Lucky gunner LLC is the parent firm of www.bulkammo.com which has a warehouse in Atlanta and is the actual seller of ammo to the shooter. >Five people are listed on the most recently available public records of Luckygunner officials:  Jordan Mollenhour, Dustin Gross, Jeffrey Felde, Coleton Bragg and Craig Meredith. >The principal office street address of Luckygunner LLC lists on its corporate records is that of the UPS store on North Cedar Bluff Road, Knoxville. >Luckygunner lists as its mailing address a New York City post office box number. >2012 annual report lists Jeffrey Felds as an officer of the company with the NY city post office, and his name is the only name that appears on the Knox County business license. >Secretary of State lists these affiliated companies to Luckygunner:  Bulkammo.com; Ammo.net; AmmoForSale.net; Gunsforsale.com; Military Ballistics Industries and LuckySurvival.com   Draw your own conclusions, is this a bonafide Knoxville business with offices, warehouse, and good ole Tennesseeans working?  They do have a help wanted section on their site that states this is a Knoxville location, btw that help wanted has read the same for years.  Their Terms of Conditions of Sale sure does list all legal matters must be settled in Knox county.    Data source: http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/knoxville-firm-sued-over-ammo-used-in-colorado-theater-massacre_16468736
  23. Me & 3 of my 4 sons will be there on opening night, tickets were purchased in late October.  I am going to play the odds, that my small USA movie theater will not be in the crosshairs of ISIS or some local lunatic, but just in case, as long as they are not wanding, I should be okay.  I still will sit on the end and close to a fast exit as possible.
  24. After watching the PBS series on the Roosevelts, the lead up to WWII with U.S. involvement was filled with protests, no one wanted the U.S. to enter, but FDR carefully crafted in a brilliant way to prepare the nation for War.  However, it still took Pearl Harbor to involve the U.S. directly.  And the rest was history.   Suppose FDR's father was German or Japanese, would he had crafted the nation to prepare for war, or would he have gone a different path?
  25. That's actually pretty dang gone funny.
