  1. I am covinced my problem is related to auto-save.  When I have problems, not only do I have that Kit Car left-right-left animation that goes on forever in the middle of the screen, the lower right says SAVING...... and its like it is hung up.  I simply, copy my post, hit the back button, go back into the same post, and paste, and immeidately it posts.  Is there some options that I can change on my side regarding autosave, and is there an issue with my IE9.0 compatibiltiy?  I do not have this issue on my IPAD.
  2. lol, this happens in my house regularly. I have never caught my kids in the act, but somehow my covers fall off too.
  3. This is very sad.  I would have thought once he returned to civilian life, after making a name for himself, and due to the nature of the enemy, he would have had to at minimum change his name.  I like to know more about the aledged shooter.  Was this a personal conflict or was this like others stated a hired shooter.
  4. I for one have not been enticed by the salvage title autos.  However, I do know some people who have purchased really nice vehicles, discounted of course for the rebuilt title, however when it became time to get another vehicle, they had great difficulty in getting rid of their ride.  It takes a special group of people who will buy these vehciles as a daily driver.  Though I am likely as cheap as they come in this area, I have never stooped to engagement in rebuilt titles, but when I do buy a car, I never buy used from a business, and if I am buying new, I do a tremendous amount of due dilignece, and I negotiate, negotiate, and negotiate, and try to find as much leverage that I can against a new car dealer, i.e. other markets, that may not be reasonable to others due to distance, but for me, its not a problem, its an adventure and a high.

  6. I would say that you are right, as for me, not too worried. BTW, statistically speaking, wasn't that the first black bear attack in these parts in like 75 to 100 years? Aren't you more likely to die from a bite from a rabid skunk, coon, or other sick animal in East Tennessee than an attack by a bear.
  7. Beutiful, congrats!
  8. I almost forgot about this monthly sweepstakes, I kept looking in early January, and eventually quit.  I just entered.  I know it is February, but it does say January, anyway here it is, and good luck!   https://www.sigsauer.com/TeamSig/Sweepstakes.aspx
  9. Clearing cache worked for about 4-5 posts, my problem is back.
  10. Welcome to TGO, approximately 20 miles from you.
  11. Not to highjack this introduction, Congrats!
  12. Yep, know it.  I have four boys all under the age 9, one 8, one 7, one 3, and one 3 mos old.
  13. Update, I believe any of the whistle pigs in my area definitely did not see their shadow, and were met with a non-forecasted snow.  When I originally wrote this some 12 1/2 hours ago, the sun was partially coming through the window by the computer.   So I guess this is good news, and means Spring is around the corner.  Yea!
  14. Thanks TGO David, I will try it again (just did, and worked great).  I actually have thought this might be it, and have cleared the cashe before, maybe 2-3+ weeks ago.  It appeared to work, but within a few days, my problems came back.  I will keep my fingers crossed.
  15. My 2 cents, simply put, you only need liability insurance if you have any assets to protect. I learned this the hard way, no, not my assets, but someone else who had no insurance, and no assets.
  16. Glad I live in East Tennessee.  I just worry about the elusive panters is all.  Not too worried about black bears.
  17. Of course I made some basic assumptions, sleep vs. desire, desire vs. wallet, need vs. want.
  18. Seriously, just go to Walmart between 6-7am each day, and I mean each day, and see the results of the stocking from the truck the day/night before. I have grabbed in the past 2 weeks 2-3 boxes of 100 Federal value packs of 45 at the old price, I think $34.97, not sure.  Usually there are several, and my Walley has no one other than me waiting. It also pays to warm up to the sporting goods clerks. I am into reloading now, but I just can't stop my old habits of buying factory ammo.
  19. I don't care if he shoots clays, reloads, competes USPSA, or just collects, I do not like him, and I desire him not to patronize me with his fake or real hobbies. He is no friend, acquaintance, or fellow hobbist of mine.
  20. If you do not mind me asking, where did you get your Thumblers Tumbler, and I assume you mean model B? This is one of my adventures that I am currently own. I have bought two in early January that have went to back order, and I bought another one 7 days ago from this retailer http://www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com/thumler-s-tumbler-model-b-high-speed-7.html . After talking to them on the phone, they assured me the wait time would be no greater than 14 days, and their price seemed reasonable. The other purchases were from Midway and Brownells. I have been on ebay and made some bids, but I have not been successful. Too much panic causing frenzy prices.
  21. Could there be something to autosave?  I notice when I post something, I get that Kit car light bar from Knight Rider that seems to never end, then if I just copy my pending post, go out of the post and right back in, and paste, it takes it immeidately like no problems.
  22. That salmon looks good, wait its dinner time, I am hungry. Wife whats for dinner...............Oh I forgot its Saturday night, pizza or eat out.
  23. My wife and I are almost there.  We are actually tonight going to experiment with an old antenna that I have.  If it picks up the digital stations okay, we are out of dish.  We have one of those converter boxes from a couple of years ago in the closet just in case our flat panel is not ready.  I too don't watch or try to avoid the national news anymore.  I do drink the Foxnews koolaide website, and I do read some foreign media sources on the U.S., just to see a different view.
  24. I work for a Japanese company, and the term most appropriate here is poke yoke, or in english, foolproof.  I am for foolproofing especially for safety, but only by choice in free enterprise.  I do not like the government mandating certain items, like helmets, seat belts, health insurance, coke cup size, amount of sugar, etc.
  25. I used +1 year for a reference point, maybe its +10 years, or +20 years, I don't know, maybe I had to barter 30K rounds of 22LR (yes I said 30K rounds) to have a doctor to save the life of one of my children in a post era of SHTF event, I just wanted to know what are the alternatives for reloading supplies if I ever ran out.  Truth be known, the likelyhood of me or my family (I should say heirs) running out of supplies, assuming we survived any distance of time from the SHTF event, is very slim.  Like the OP stated, I had a dream, and that is the way it went.  I believe ammo and reloading components may be of high value and may be to some the only real bartering there is outside of food, medicine, and other neccessaties of life in a new era of mankind.  I doubt gold would be valuable early on.
