  1. Pre-Crazy, most P6 that I saw were in the $300-$400 range.
  2. Guys, at this rate of trickle in inventory, and huge demand, this ammo shortage will take a long time to over-come!

    Good shot man!

    That was good!
  4. +1, what I did, but I caught the ss media on sale at Midway last month for ~$30 for 5 lbs. Love mine!  So I bought the tumbler from STM, took 10 days and was under $200 with shipping.

Out of curosity, check Colt 6920 on gunbroker this evening.  Anywhere from $1600 to $1800 with free shipping.  I think Walmart's price is around $1097, + tax = $1,205 before TICS.  So if $1600 is the rate, that is only 25% premium.  That is far cry from what was occuring the week after Christmas.  I believe Colt 6920 were close to $2200-$2500+ those few weeks.
  6. It took me close to 6 months to find the one I wanted. In that time frame, maybe seen a total of 3. Be patient, they will turn up. There use to be someone on Gunsamerica that had several for somewhat reasonable pricing, came close to buying, but in the end, finally found one on Armslist that was perfect.
  7. I always watch, have not missed one in 26 years.
  8. I was reminded by a friend, that this past week was the aniversary of the battle of Iwo Jima. It was 68 years ago this past week, Feb 19, 1945, that the battle began. The battle offically ended on March 26th. 26,000 American casualties, 6,800 killed. Thank you to the greatest generation! What a sacrifice! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Iwo_Jima http--,,--//
  9. On Gunbroker there are 21 pistols, but no 10mm.  Price ranges appear to be in the $500-$1000 price range, but zero bids.    http://www.gunbroker.com/All/BI.aspx?Keywords=Tanfoglio+Witness   There is one on Armslist in Minneapolis, Minn. its a 10mm model, @ $625.  http://www.armslist.com/posts/1129692/minneapolis-minnesota-handguns-for-sale--eaa-tanfoglio-witness-elite-match-pistol-10mm-15-rd-nib   Hope that gives you some market info.
  10. I have my first batch ready to go. I can't wait to go shoot mine. Congrats!
  11. Just found these two videos on youtube, they are short (warning, the camera moves alot):   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Q1Ys-MdH3g   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaHAVa0J36g
  12. I did not know about this brand. FYI...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanfoglio_Force
  13. I only use the view new content, never considered otherwise.
  14. That wreck from Saturday's crash was bad.  Here is a Youtube version from a spectator who was real close to the accident.  Notice the tire.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDiKZi3j-K8
  15. I am mushroom shy.  Growing up here in East Tennessee, in the mountains.  My grandmother use to teach me that virtually all growing mushrooms were poisonous.  If I recall, her rule was, if its smooth, its okay to eat, if its rough or has texture, they were dangerous.  So for 40 years, I have been grounded to this teaching.  I have never harvested any mushroom other than what is served on a pizza.
  16. I heard about it, was not able to attend due to kids sporting events.  I heard through my dad it was big and many people were there, maybe closer to a 1,000 people, not sure.  Here is a link from WBIR in Knoxville:   http://www.wbir.com/news/article/256026/2/Second-Amendment-rally-attracts-hundreds-in-Sevierville

Please stop talking about this pistol.  Its not on my immediate radar, not until May/June.  You guys are keeping (putting) me under the poor house, and my wife hasn't spoke to me in a long time because of my habit.
  18. Wife and I are way over do on buying a larger house, 2013 may be the year of the big buy.  One of the stipulations I have (which isn't many), must have a location and acerage that I can shoot and pee outside.  Love to have  a similiar setup like Hickok45.  Nothing fancy, doesn't have to be flat, but just the abilty and no complaining neighbors.
  19. I do not believe the hard core companies that have contracts with goverment agencies have backed out, first under contract they could not back out.  However, if someone like Glock, Colt, Sig Sauer, bascailly the big core contract suppliers would do this, it may get the governments attention.  Otherwise, I think these other companies are pandering to its audience and hoping for increase in sales.  It makes me feel good to hear it though.
  20. I am very good on ammo, all common calibers. In fact I think my ammo may be more valuable than my guns, so I may just change out the safe, place ammo inside, and lay the guns around. Maybe I need to buy a ammo safe.
  21. You sound like a natural TGOer, welcome
  22. Actually, I was talking mostly about my stash of LC brass.  It has to be decapped manually, or so I was informed.
  23. I have one of those NAA 22LR with the factory fold up handle.  Its small, compact, and I do use it when the Sig or Glock on my side just isn't cool or welcomed.  I have owned it close to 20 years, and its still looks new.  As far as accuracy, I find it to be accurate enough at 5 to 7 yards, bascially what it is built for.  As far as quick re-loading, yea that is a challenge.  BTW I do only load 4 rounds, and let the hammer rest on an empty chamber.  My next size up before the big boys is my Beretta 21A which I love too.
  24. Guys you have it all wrong. He said you must have a double barrel. Here is what he meant: http--,,--//
