One argument I haven't seen, is carpal tunnel. I use to work in the cut-n-sew industry, basically the same industry that makes any thing that is cut from rolls of material and sew into a pattern. Anyway, in the late 80s, this industry's was rampant with carpal tunnel complaints and lawsuits. So it may not be 100% on the backs of government, but individual lawsuits that ran this industry out of town. BTW I wonder how many people reading this post is reading it using a made in the USA computer screen, made in USA hand held device, etc. If you do have one, please share with me the name. One more BTW, how many of us scrutinize our 401K mutual funds to make sure we are not partaking in the profits from any industry that uses made in over seas products? Hmmmm. Its easy to identify a shirt label, but when it really counts in our own pocket, do we use the same scrutiny and deep dive analysis of our own actions. If we are going to complain, attempt to lead by example, lead in all things, not just the easy stuff. Just saying.....I hate it too, but its the world we live in.

I know I am in the minority, but its rare that I make a purchase at any brick and mortar stores for any merchandise due to issues like above and plus I don't want the hassle. If it wasn't for perishable groceries, I would buy them online too. Only internet retailers, local restaurants, gas stations and on an occasion Armslist/Craigslist gets my money. Maybe society doesn't want me or my money anymore. When the UPS man says that he can't deliver unless my door has a gun buster sticker, then I know the SHTF has truly happened in my world.

Update, I finally bought this model from Amazon, see below, and installed it yesterday. A piece of cake! Anyway, from where I live in the big V, that's Vonore if you don't know, I now have 19 channels, and crystal clear HD. So goodbye Dish and $89 month. I just gave myself $1,068 per year raise, that's $5,340 in 5 years. That's a lot of money, or new found gun money :dirty: . Anyway, this C2-V-CJM ClearStream 2-V Long Range UHF/VHF cost me $73.99 delivered from Amazon, less than 1 month payback. http:// -
They had 18 cases of PMAGs @ $9.99 ea. for gen2

I may have been under a rock for a few years, all that I have and shoot are gen2 Glocks, and I out of my treasure trove of Glocks, my 23 is the best all round. Honorable to mention, I do like my big boys the 20 and 21! My 17 is special though, it was my first Glock and its been in my possession for 20+ years.

For what its worth, I was on a rather lengthy business trip to Greenville, SC this past week. One night I was out eating, and noticed the storefront for Palmetto State Armory. I know they are very popular on the internet, anyway had to visit. Wow, is all I can say. They were flushed with inventory, 22LR ammo, PMAGs, Magpul stuff, Reloading supplies, Primers of all kind, and their gun inventory was very well stocked. One thing I did notice, many patrons were there, but none were buying the 22LR rifle ammo which I know the price is high, but it also tells me they have had 22LR ammo in stock for awhile or at least other places in Greenville have. This place is 2 1/2 hours drive from Knoxville. Anyway here a couple of pics, enjoy: http:// http://

Found this old post. Need to revisit this subject for some opinions! I know you have one, let me read them! After studying for some time, we spend 90%+ of our TV time on local channels, and the few channels we watch on Dish, we can watch on the internet. Anyway, we live about 35 miles from the towers in Knoxville, and have been researching a good outdoor antenna. After reviewing several on Amazon, I was wondering if anyone here has any opinions on this antenna: (BTW I have the older style large antenna in my attic, and we were only able to pick up about 2 channels). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BRXW74/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER http:// -
For OWB, I use Blackhawk Serpa and for IWB more than $40, I have the crossbreed.

The show look decent to me. I was looking for some 10mm Hydra Shocks or equivalent, but found 20 year old Winchester Black Talon unopened from a private seller for my 10mm instead at better pricing than anyone on any new Federal, Remington or Hornady 10mm hollow points. I was pleased.

Considering their physical location, and their obvious clientele, I say they do well. In other words, close to a populous with good expendable income, and targeted men and women who are likely not going to not shop around to compare prices, and are impulse buyers after reading a magazine article about an item.

How long has it been, 6 years, finally some national attention to a horrific Knoxville crime: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/08/13/the-gruesome-story-of-a-murdered-tennessee-couple-you-may-have-never-heard-about-but-that-you-will-never-forget/

Maryville's Mayor is anti-2nd Amendment
runco replied to TNinfidel's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I wonder of the Maryville Times would have ran this story without the fine folks here digging into it, well done! The residents or voters need to know! -
I have to agree, I watched We Were Soldiers last night thanks to this posting. My wife had bought me the movie 1+ year ago, and never got around to watching it. This posting got me interested, and watched it. All I have to say, is excellent, and thanks for posting!

I like sitting on my open porch and watch it rain and the storm roll in. My father does the same, and now my young boys do the same. We usually do this until the storm is very close, like lightening and thunder are only separated by nano seconds, then we move in doors at a very close pace.

Thought I would blow the cobwebs off this one, do you wear gun related clothing? For me, I only wear hats, here is my current collection of hats: ">http://

How do you hide gun/or accy purchases from the wife or GF?
runco replied to Dustbuster's topic in General Chat
I am afraid to post my answer, she sometimes reads my posts (I think). I have a combination of methods already mentioned, like buy her something new, or I pay the bills routine and as long as the bills are being paid, blah, blah, blah. Another one that I use often, I work very hard and have a very stressful job, I don't golf, I don't drink, and I gave up playing poker with the boys along time ago, so my gun nut obsession is my stress relief, it usually works. One other, is that I have fell on the sword a few times, it works too.
