I know I lived out in Karns for two years and there were some guys that were hitting neighborhoods like that. They usually had a woman with them too. She would knock on the door trying to get help and when you opened the door they came busting in from the sides. Always middle upper class and always people who are a bit older. They beat a few old people pretty bad, but it never made the news. The only reason I found out about it was my wife's grandpa was in charge of securitiy and had a few sheriffs deputys working there. I've only been out of there for about five months so they may still be around.

I think I may be going to the Dark Side eventually. I've really been considering a G19 for a carry gun if I can't get my money together for a sigpro group buy.

Just remember that snakes actually play an important rule in nature. They are the terminators of rodents and other creatures that you don't want in your house. Not many make it to adulthood and then successfully breeding is another story. That is why these different kinds of laws are in place. That is an interesting story about the copperhead hitting the bucket. How did you know that it came out to specifically strike at you if you didn't notice it till it hit your bucket? Annnnd snakes are venomous, not poisonous. Venom is inject, poison is ingested. I gotta find the magazine I had not to long ago, but there was an article by I think Massad Ayoob revieiwing the Sigs. He said the difference between a regular P220 and the carry is negligible, but of course, both great guns. -
I read the webpage on the membership process. I don't know if I could do it because of the hours I work.

I grew up in Wheeling. We had a church group come down from Pittsburgh because they were coming on a missions trip with us. They seriously were expecting horses and no shoes. I mean come on, we've had cars since like 1993!!

Ding Ding Ding Tim wins the prize. Not only the teachers unions, but the entire Department of Education. There was nothing wrong with the original schedules of having the summer off like EVERY single one of us had(unless your from Cali). I never got into trouble and and enjoyed that break from school. It is needed when you are that age. Every spring at my high school when the temperature started going up they would never turn the AC on. They would tell us that they couldn't because the switch was in Texas? I never understood that one.

ETSU introduces students to Firearms

I dated a girl who shot air rifle and small bore competitively. She originally got a scholarship to Nebraska, then tried to come back to WV but they dropped their rifle team I think due to finances. I've been to the range at WVU and Ohio State. She also placed 13th in the 2000 Olympic trials. Thank god she only shot at non moving targets -
Kinda reminds me of what happened to my wife when she was visiting her parents in MI. They had the little town meth head come over their fence trying to talk to them trying to get money or whatever he could. My MIL slipped into the house and grabbed the riot shotgun and came back out. The guy lost his pants trying to get back over the fence.

Is it ok to come out if we aren't going to shoot much. I've shot some over my life, but thanks to my brothers having horrible tempers we never had them in the house...Right now I only have a S&W 4566 and a Mossy 500. I haven't even gotten a holster yet haha.

Gosh I wish I had the money to put two of those together for my BIL and SIL who are over in Iraq right now. Oh yeah...one for myself too. I think that one is better than the zombie lower.

I prefer shopping that way. The guy stands behind the case and that is it. No trying to sell or push crap on you that you want. I think that is how business should be done. Leave me alone unless I have questions or I want to see something.

I can't wait till someone buys my gaming computer. I'll be able to get one of these.

I think I've seen some Glocks up for auction or in classified with more tacti-"cool" stuff on them.

haha I'll have to remember those for my wife. She grew up with a Jewish grandmother, and her grandma used to tell her jokes like these.

When I got my drivers license in TN it was a circus. The information on their website wasn't up to date. I had my primary forms of ID according to the website, but my Ohio Drivers License for some reason couldn't be used as a valid ID. I almost lost my job over it because of the time it took to get me a BC. I drive for a living, and like they told me, if you can't drive your worthless to us.

So young and dumb...the place with a million camera's +1 http://www.wate.com/Global/story.asp?S=7993962 KNOX COUNTY (WATE) -- Two suspects were arrested Monday afternoon on charges of setting a small fire last week at the Wal-Mart in the Turkey Creek shopping center. Jonathan Cody Baxter, 18, was taken into custody at a trailer park in Farragut around 4:30 p.m. Baxter is charged with aggravated arson and theft. Investigators say he's the teen in the surveillance photo released last week by the Knoxville Fire Department. Baxter was with some friends at the time he was arrested. Then, just hours later, fire investigator's arrested Nathan Wayne Armstrong, 24, at a home on Tillery Road in Knoxville. Armstrong is charged with one count of reckless endangerment. Their preliminary hearings are set for March 18. The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. March 7 in the men's clothing section. Employees were able to put it out with fire extinguishers. Damage was confined to several racks of shirts. The store was evacuated during the fire.

I finally saw V for Vendetta. I loved the movie over all.

Some good info. The only place that I know of going to for shooting is Coal Creek. I've seen things about Oak Ridge Sportsmans, but with my schedule I could never make or maintain a membership with the requirements of getting in.

It was a crazy week in Walmarts around here. I work for Frito Lay and I have the Lenoir City Walmart and the Turkey Creek Walmart. Someone set a few small fires to clothing in the Turkey Creek Walmart than this happened down in Lenoir City. I really wish I could carry at work sometimes...especially when I'm sitting behind buildings at 3 in the morning waiting for a dock to open.

Hey new to the forum and semi new to TN via Columbus, OH via Wheeling, WV. I've been here for about a year and a half and love it. We moved here to help my wife's grandparents out and have decided to make this our permanent home. I hope to learn more about the laws of this state, and hopefully soon be getting my carrying permit. Then I just need to get my computer so I can get a better gun for carry A S&W 4566 doesn't carry very well haha.
