It doesn't cost $1000, it cost $390 http://www.armatac.com/?page_id=158 I'm not a drum fan, I just don't like the look, if someone would build a true saw mag (hard shell, not the cloth zipper one) that looks like a M249 and it inserted into the mag well I'd buy it... -

I've been on the fence post to buy one of these mags for awhile, I've talked to a couple of people and they said it runs great only with 55g bullets, 62's drag, there is a newer verision coming out soon called the saw light, it is one drum with 70+/- round capacity... The Shrike while its rated for the M16 platform, it's very hard on the lower, heavyer bolt/ heavyer buffer, with a ROF around 850+, all that cycling mass is very hard on your $12000+ lower, now if you were using a RDIAS I wouldn't loose any sleep. -
AR fans Ck this out Must have for your rifle

Here you go, two verisions the 150 and a newer not releasted saw light http://www.armatac.com/products.html I know of a couple people with no luck on the sure fires 60 or 100, they call them jamomatic's -

Late to the party, did you buy your wife the H3? Found this topic while reasearching Tullahoma.. I plan on buying my son for his 16th Birthday and H3, so he can feel the luv of all the Hummer Haters in the world. So what makes a OEM equipped Jeep,Toyota, Ford Raptor any better then a Hummer? Is it badging: trail rated, socom, trail teams, prerunner, what? Probably personal choice...

I had buys remorse for 2wks, I started noticing alot being posted right after I bought mine at ok"ish" prices, but most were over priced everywhere I looked prior to finding the one, every once in awhile a deal shows up and you gotta be quick...
-
Having buyers remorse? seen this on the EE, how does it compare to your price http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_93/1001761_50_bmg.html

I think there are very few public ranges that will let you shoot a 50, I shoot on my buddies farm longest shot 375yrs, I also shoot at Terry's in Manchester that range is 330yrds, Barrett also uses this range too (witch tells me there's nothing in the boro area)... I've only bought 200 rounds of FMJBT ammo, I might buy some AP at some point, I asked on another forum (AR15.com) about ammo, several people said to say away from API and APIT unless you want to start fires... Look here for ammo, I bought from Freedom for $2.14 per rounded shipped http://gun-deals.com/ammo

My buddy transfered a transferable into our dealer, we both went down to the shop the day it arrived, to check it out and do the paperwork, the dealer cracked a joke saying he'd keep the round count under 1k, my buddy turned 3 shades of red and said you better not, needless to say 4 months later it went untouched, thank god, but that joke cost them several more transfers by me and my buddy and a few don't go there speeches...

My Barrett has a Mil Dot, I've only shot 30 rounds so far out of it to zero it in at 100yrds and see what the drop was at 200yrds, my buddy has the same rifle but with a BORS, I'm going to use his scope program and his cheat sheet to save me $$ ammo $$. I also have another Leupold with a duplex on my .308 700P deer rifle, for me I use a range finder so either reticle works for me... where do you plan on shooting it? what type of ammo are you going to use?
-
I've got a Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50 on my Barrett 82A1.

Now the sercet is out, only range I know w/o range restrictions

Latest Class III: Guesses on Wait Time

Since when? My buddy and I purchased 1 item ea from out of state (this time last yr), both items arrived to our dealer in the same wk, since I had a serial # my dealer did all of my paperwork before the item arrived, I got my photo, cleo signiture and finger prints all done before it arrive. My buddy has a trust, we sent our paperwork off the same day, our checks cashed 2 days later, we both went pending 1 wk later (again same day, same pile of paperwork), he got approved 96 days from pending, myself 122 days from pending, remember same dealer and same exanimer, how do you explain the 4wk difference? The trust side steps the FBI BG check. -

I'm guessing you have a trust, I wish when I started my dealer would have told me the differance, to late now!! -

your crying over 180days right? the good old days took a yr +, beleive it or not congress doesn't want you to own anything NFA. are you filing as individule or using a trust? that makes about a 4wk difference between the two. I wouldn't compare a TICS background check to a FBI background check....BTW your the last person inline at the FBI, they have bigger fish's to fry and the BATF won't do anything w/o your FBI background check. What's pending anyways? -
OK wow, I'm in learning mode now (not a smart AZZ comment).. then why do they make barrels longer then 16" if it doesn't matter (other then fps is greater out of a longer barrel)? and why do the make bull barrels?? BTW: I already learned something off the MOA video above

I hear what your saying but: I recently sold a colt HBAR AR15 with a 20" A2 upper, that thing was way more accurate then any of my 10.5",11.5", 14.5" and 16" uppers that I currently use.....using the same ammo... I was in the market for a REPR last yr but settled for something else, please look at page 5 for how LWRC rates their rifle for ranges, shorter barrels = shorter distances, longer barrels = longer distances. It's a different caliber but I'm thinking it's the same theory... http://www.lwrci.com/support/forms/REPR_Manual.pdf JR

you will not get surgical precision from a 16" carbine rifle unless were talking about 100yrds

Most of the ranges (there are many) are indoor and geared for the strip user, here is one with prices: http://thegunstorelasvegas.com/gun-rental-packages I would recomend the m249 saw (40 rounds is a joke, that's only a 3 second BF burst), m16 then the mp5 for MG My parents live in boulder on my way there a couple yrs ago I seen signs for an outdoor range in henderson that's 1/2 hr from the strip.
