  1. Just a little over gassed, if he wanted to really torcher test a barrel on a M16 put a shrike upper on it and link up a 1000rd belt. another video, same results but only the gas tube.. http://youtu.be/Kzfm4pYhIyY This is a red barrel
  2. They need to leave the Raptor alone, I really like the new body lines but putting a V6 in it just isn't right.
  3. I could only imagine the trouble I could have gotten into with this mounted to my go-cart... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i-Eht5-JSQ

Thanks for taking the time to write this out, its helping me decide how to get rid of all the 9mm I have stashed from my m11 days..

    9mm AR?

Is this the upper your talking about? http://www.righttobear.com/CMMG-Mk9-PDW-9-Complete-Upper-9mm-KeyMod-Rail-p/90b3bf0.htm I have K&S pins on it already, I was really concerned about my lower when I bought a Gen 5 shrike upper but I feel really good about that set up now. I've heard internet horrors of egg holed FA lowers using 9mm uppers hence me in concern mode again, by using the upper above with a ramped bolt, Hahn mag block( how do they mount? top/bottom? what prevents it from moving?), do I need a different bolt catch? the colt mags hold 32 what does the uzi hold? Thanks JR

    9mm AR?

would you build a 9mm on a transferable lower?
  7. I remember racing Plaster City CA, its a racing town in the SoCal desert, we were lined up (over 100 bikes) in a lemans style type start, I was lined up next to a Factory KTM rider with a 500 and I had a brand spanking new CR500 my buddy was on the other side of me (CR500 to), we were sizing him up and we only came up with his smaller then usual rear sprocket, we go 0-90+mph in know time, our bikes are flat out, maybe 100 but I doubt it, maybe about 2 miles into the race Mr KTM passed us like we were painted to the ground he was doing at least 30mph faster then we were, we only closed on him in the hilly areas as long as he was on flat land he was long gone..
  8. Okay thanks, mine expires in May..
  9. Only difference between that bike and a 89, is the aluminum frame and a few other goodies, I haven't followed bikes in yrs so I don't know if the $10.5k price tag is good or bad, gut feeling it's a couple k over a regular bike... I'm too old to ride 500's nowadays I'd probably do something really stupid and pay big time for it, this is more my speed today:
  10. where do I find the form to renew my HCP? I must be overlooking it on the TN website. thanks
  11. Too funny, I use to race 250/500 pro in SoCal, my last bike was a 89 CR500, first yr upside down forks showed up on stock MX bikes, my last race was in 92, me and my buddies made our own practice track that overlooked Carlsbad raceway (mid 80's), we had countless factory riders ride with us (Marty Moats, Chuck Sun, Rick Johnson and many more) those were the best of times I lived motocross in fact I missed high school graduation to race..LOL
  12. Oh boy do I remember...My older A$$hole neighborhood friend hit me with the butt of his M16 and chipped my front tooth.

    9mm AR?

I've been thinking of doing this for quite awhile , I'm afraid of beating the snot out of a irreplaceable lower..
  14. Don't try this at home people... http://youtu.be/8I3I6P9j2ag
  15. Its made by bold idea, its at the bottom of colts line up.
  16. They sure wouldn't like my carbon foot print..LOL
  17. Thanks, I hate owning money to anyone. Since everyone is showing off their scores mine is the red one.
  18. Heres the maintenance schedule for my H1 and a HMMWV is exactly the same. http://www.flashoffroad.com/Maintenance/Scheduled/scheduledMaint.htm BTW, if you didn't know what HMMWV stands for here you go: High-Maintenance-Money-Wasting-Vehicle
  19. I do a C service (including a transmission fluid change) every 12k miles, reused the rubber gasket every time, never has it leaked.
  20. My 15yr old sons go to gun is a LE6940, I use LE6943/45 uppers on my M16, they are awesome guns. I'd suggest buying a LE901 its a 308 as it sits but with a magwell adapter you can add 556 uppers, the major plus for this gun is if your a NFA guy and you SBR it, its a muliti caliber/ low shelf lower, nothing like shooting a SBR in 7.62mm and 556..lol LE901, I have one, mine is used as a medium range semi precision rifle, it can be converted back in seconds to a battle rifle. http://www.slickguns.com/product/colt-m4-carbine-308-le-901-16in-matte-black-20rd-rifle-216999-free-shipping or LE901 MARC for a little less, just released. http://www.slickguns.com/product/new-colt-le901-16se-car-308-161-20r-mt-186200-shipped or AR901,lot less, just released. http://www.slickguns.com/product/new-colt-ar901-16s-car-308-161-20r-mt-139200-shipped
  21. Got a decent bonus from work on the 20th, paid my truck on the 21st, got a notification on the 24th, title arrived yesterday..it's all mine...
  22. Here's an example of that, there are many more.. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_17/436565_M_16_trigger_group__in_an_AR_15.html I have a buddy that has a RDIAS with several hosts, when he leaves the range he'll pull all the FCG except the host he decides to leave the rdias in, not worth getting caught..
