Look at this way, everyone loves jeeps, the Humvee replaced a jeep, it was so different when it came out in 1985 the technology was light years ahead of what it replaced. Not sure why you say there slow a current M1145 will do 70+mph that's a 13,000# truck, what else is faster? The reason I know the MPH is I'll drop into convoy's on the interstate and I'll interact with the soldiers driving my H1, it's always been a thumbs up experience both ways, during one of my convoy encounters I rolled up to a single M1145 and pulled up along side of him and that soldier gave me the lets race face, needless to say he lost..LOL.. The JLTV is a awesome looking machine and I'm sad AM General lost there contract to build the next gen Humvee.. A 7.5" upper is uncomfortable up around your face... ​     ​

You realize Humvees are still rolling off the assemlie line as we speak "export only" :( ​and the C series version for the general public "export only"

  I'm pretty sure no one will compete with USAA on customer service, as far as collectibles I got a lot of good feedback on ar15.com for people who have high dollar NFA collections, both USAA and FB didn't want to insure my guns
