heres the thing, throw the "binder" idea out the window. No LEO out there is going to believe anything you printed out, they will look it up themselves... so just make yourself a wallet sized card with the TCA codes of the laws in question and a brief discription of them and hand it to the officer if you feel the need to. Hes probably not going to allow you access to a "binder" anyway. This way he can lok it up for himself and you can always have it on you. Works for me and my students.

guys actually I still think HB2694 has a better chance of passing, its simple to the point and takes care of what we need without all the political extras. Plus its weeks ahead of the other bill.

right now, unless something changes I think we may be dead in the water on both bills. A 2 week roll hurt our chances big time. The only way possible now is to get the 1st one out of comittee and insist on if they leave make them come back in a special session to take care of it. Slim chance but if we all make calls it can happen. We need EVERYONE to call their house rep and make them come back to take care of this if they leave.

last thing im going to say about this is WE NEED TO CALL ALL OUR REPS, PUSH THEM TO MAKE THEM GET THIS OUT OF COMMITTEE... IF WE DONT THIS BILL IS DEAD FOR THIS YEAR!!!!! CALL YOUR REPRESENATIVE AND ALL THESE COMMITTEE MEMBERS!!!! Whats happened in my opinion is Todd caved for some reason... now were against the clock, if it comes out of committee and even gets passed it will be vetoed again... thus they will have to come back for a special session to overturn the veto. This needs to be taken care of this year not next!!!!
