  1. this is Mke McDonalds bill... this was basically a way of putting it off till next year because they were so sick of gun bills they didnt wanna hash out another one. I have helped Mike with this one and can assure you it will be re introuced next session, but its passing will have allot to do with who the new speaker is.
  2. Whats an "Ex-Felon".... anyway, didnt know such a thing existed? Lol
  3. Glad your happy with it, and thanks for the kind words.
  4. Im leaning Ramsey... and so far hes got my vote, but if he shows his boots, mentions anything about "boots" or "booting" one more time i think im going to scream.
  5. run before you shoot...
  6. SIMPLE FIX TO THIS IS... PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS, AND MOVE IT TO ANOTHER INSTITUTION!!!!
  7. GLOCKMEISTER

    Glock 28

dude, you beat me to it.
  8. LOL He went to see the wrong PHIL... Actually believe it or not it does hapen quite often... people do get us confused... being the same name on the same road and all.
  9. Well on guns we beat ANY local competitors pricing.. actually we GUARANTEE IT! Been doing that for 18 years. Full boat retail on that piece, the compact tactical, is $615 plus tax/tics... We sell them everyday in the shop for $515 out the door including tax/tics. Your TGO discounted price is $465 out the door including tax/tics. If you can get a dealer to match that price, make them give you a quote on a card then we will still beat them. Simple as that. But hey its not a real biggie, but the next time your in the market for any firearm please come in and see me or any other supporting vendor on TGO. Tell them your a TGOer, because being a supporting vendor here I try to give you guys even a better deal... they should too... Then get ready to buy... because the price you will get from me and you should get from other supporting vendors otta have you reaching for your wallet.
  10. Buy locally keeps your money local, so the local economy strives... so you and your friends keep jobs and taxes low... seems like a good enough reason for me.
  11. we just had one that we converted to a tactical pistol... I'd try Joe if he cant get it I can in just a few days.
  12. You know i'd take it back to the dealer. Any reputable dealer should have inspected the gun before selling it and should replace the gun with no questions asked. At least thats what I would have done, and you would have gotten a better price too... GAURANTEED!!!
  13. Or you can drive just a few miles down the same road and come see me... Im a real gunstore, with a certified Glock Armorer on staff... we can do or add anything you want and not void your warranty and we will beat ANYONES PRICE GAURANTEED... especially the hardware store!!!
  14. Why send your money out of state? Give me a call, if I dont have what you want I can get it quicker then you can order it online. And I sell Glocks at the lowest price of any other dealer here in the mid state... Anyone, Guns and Leather... Hero Gear, Academy Sports.... ANYONE!!!!! We will BEAT ANYONES PRICE!!!! GAURANTEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Back to the topic at hand,... I only show my HCP to LEO's or to someone in a position to be asking me for two State Picture ID's. I'd also like to point out it is considered a valid state ID... So if your only carrying your HCP and your not driving thats all you really need to comply with any "Id on person" encounter you might have. I know we have beaten the "badge" thing to death, but I have actually seen people walk in my store and out in public with their HCP in a black ID holder that says TN HANDGUN CARRY PERMIT worn around their neck... lol... seriously, 1st time one guy walked in my door I actually laughed in his face, couldnt help it.. it simply got me tickled. Anyway im a firm believer in out of sight out of mind. Just had to get that in... for a bit there I thought the thread was gonna get locked. Sorry missed all the fun.
  16. the Beretta was picked back in 1984 for the standard sidearm... personally i think they should have picked the Sig 226... That said I have met Mr. Knight... toured the plant... and i have shot plenty of rounds thru a few of the M110's... I love it! Lil different animal then the SR25. But your regular ordinary Joe would never be able to get the most out of the gun and really woulnt know anymore then just that... "its cool". Maybe one day i'll be blessed with enough extra cash to own one... until then ill have to stick to my M1A. Tomato... tomatoe
  17. agree with you 100%... I have been to some of those schools too. But they cant teach some things. Its like a football player, he either has speed and vision or he dont... ya cant teach it. My point is the same one you made, a shooter can shoot... but not everyone is a shooter. My deal is I see people daily that want the biggest and baddest "sniper" rifle but dont have a clue how to use it. Now I dont mind one bit ordering and setting it up for them... its all about the $$$$. But honestly Bubba the real deer hunter with his Remington 30-06 scares the hell out of me more then Mr. "Wanna Be" with his Accuracy International and Mark 4.
  18. btw... the Rohrbaugh 380 is the sweeeeeetest i have ever shot. But the are $$$$$$$
  19. the Sig p238 is one of my favorites as well... What "slide issue" did the LCP have? If its the hold back on the last round, while i understand wanting it too... its only needed for quick mag changes. Just curious.
  20. Love the Knight... but "if the driver cant drive he dont need a racecar"!!!! Any of those mentioned so far would be a great gun for someone without real sniper training.
  21. all we charge if the person is denied is the $10 TICS fee.... then we put the gun back into inventory and move on. Now I will say if they really want to still buy the gun and go thru the appeal process then we treat it like a layaway and let them pay for the gun and it comes off the shelf and into the safe.... then we give the TBI/FBI 28 days to look at the appeal and get back to us. If by that time we dont hear anything of we do and the customer is still denied then we refund the purchase in full minus the $10 TICS fee. We just consider this proper customer service. But if they cant get the gun were out of pocket. But hey thats the price of doing buisness. What makes it hard are those folks that know they are going to be denied and have no intentions of filing an appeal... thats a big waste of time an energy.
  22. if your set on a 380 then the LCP is the gun, PLEASE stay away from the TCP... Simply put its junk, weve already had to send three back to taurus this year. We have the LCP's in stock with the engraved slide and chrome slide... I think your wife would like them both. That being said most ladies that go thru our class and really carry... includeing my wife... wind up with a 2in snub revolver.... Pink/Black gripped S&W 642, Ruger LCR, or the Pink Charter arms. Give me a call if you need help.
  23. Figure out how many thousand rounds of fmj brass cased Remington you need and i'll make the drive to Goodlettsvile worth your while.
