  1. They cant/dont keep it unless the customer wants them to because they are fileing the appeal and dont want the gun to be sold to someone else. We give them that option when they are initially denied, we ask them what they want to do. If they dont want to file the appeal, no biggie... they get all the money back right then with no restocking fees or layaway fees... minus the $10 TICS check. SOME DEALERS WILL HIT UP THE CUSTOMER FOR A TRANSFER FEE RIGHT THEN... AND THATS JUST WRONG! If they want to file the appeal and us put the gun in the safe and hold it for them then we will do that also. If they are approved later, then great..... if not then we give all the money back minus the TICS if that dispostition is denied. Again no restocking fees or layaway fees. We do everything we can to help the customer in these situations. We actually fax the appeal for the customer, call the TBI to make sure they received it.. and follow up with TBI for that customer in 10 days. What more could ya want? Honestly I dont see where that is unfair... its a huge hassle for us as dealers to deal with it. Some dealers are starting to refuse to file apeals all together. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
  2. sounds like a another 3-4 hour class to me...
  3. im pretty sure when you look at the Tennessee law and the othr Fed. regulations we will be good to go when its all said and done.
  4. the law is grey, but most school districts have employee rules that wont allow it anyway. There have been a few local teachers fired because of this. My understanding is you cant have it on school property unless your picking up a dependent.
  5. i bet HB0747/SB1802 will get moving soon, if not it will pass next session.
  6. thats what I meant, Im well aware of the 15 months... I was just pointing out the law change. Seems some people take everything so literal and are so quick to point out if someone happens to misspeak... even if their ententions are misunderstood. I guess I'll start useing more Smiles and such... Btw... I do think Tn's WMA's will be covered... just IMHO or BMHI(By my humble interpretation) dont take that to the bank just yet.
  7. thats sucks... but hey... better then anything I ever thought we'd get out of this administration.
  8. I think the wording... "any unit" covers buildings too doesnt it? Not a federal building of course, but the visitors center and restroom in any park should be good to go.
  9. im not so sure, I remember something about that somewhere too... I'll ck... how about you FG?
  10. he's not going to veto it... he's not done in politics, and doing that would really hurt him from a PR standpoint alone.
  11. AND NOW YOU CAN CARRY IN HTE NATIONAL FORREST AND WMA
  12. YES... thats the way I see it... at least right now.
  13. why, if you keep your booger hook off the bang button until its bang time there isnt a problem.
  14. they had a problem with a run of mags when they 1st came out(years ago)... they fixed it pretty quick. Other then that all the rest of the F2F's I have seen with the 36 were due to limp wristing. You really have to hold some of the 40's and 45's tight, honestly thats about the only drawback to the Glock... some just cant shoot them.
  15. Yugo M70 or a Century GP1975
  16. nope...
  17. 1st thing you do in any attack is wipe out communications...
  18. thing is they are all anti gun... so I bet their shooting skills suck.
  19. btw... since they were introduced we have sent 50-60 Taurus Millenniums back for warranty repair. In 18 years we haven't sent a Glock back... If a Glock quits its because of the shooter or the ammo. Now saying that I'll sell ya either... and Taurus has a lifetime warrantee... I guarantee if ur a shooter you will use it several times.
  20. my posting here alone should tell ya....
  21. wow.. I thought there was already a law on the books to prevent the shutting down of an existing gun range if it didnt involve safety?
  22. they do... but its a pain inputing it when they dont need it.
  23. yea, they finally come to their senses and let us stop getting prints but now TBI has to have your physical address ... and it doesnt matter if your denied or not. Takes as much time and they dont need it, makes you wonder why they really want it?
