  1. You know all those asteroids they fear might hit the Earth? Sometimes you just have to root for one of them to... Just go ahead and hit the earth, kill a bunch of ignorant people, start humanity all over again, survival of the fittest, smartest, all the good stuff.....
  2. What can brown do for me? Bring happiness and joy!
  3. Last place I saw some in stock was SOG but now that I've double checked it says to "call for availability".   They do have a Chinese Type 53 Carbine for 99 bucks. Not very familiar with the company as I just got my C&R license and set it up with them. I would assume they'd allow you to purchase and ship to an FFL if you don't have a C&R.   *Note I could be very wrong with my ASSuming. They can provide you with info or someone here can who has dealt with the company. They may only allow people with a license to deal through them.
  4. No.... working thirds I get confused as to what day I'm in sometimes  :yuck: So it will be TODAY that I get it.    Had the same happen to me one time when meeting DrAlarms for something. He called me wondering where I was and I had forgotten I had changed over into a new day. Thankfully a nice guy and waited for the 15 mins it took me to get to him.
  5. Every time I go to the classified section I can't help but feel I'm sitting on a gold mine.
  6. Well that's a heck of a way to do some marketing. I also didn't expect two older gentlemen as the drivers...
  7. Wow WTF. There's a lot of disasters you can prepare for but that one is just out of nowhere.    I didn't know there was such a thing as "sinkhole alley" though, let alone that it's a common occurance. I had heard of them happening, but it's always been in other countries. I guess maybe it doesn't get as much national attention through the media when they happen here in the US.
  8. Mine will be here today! UPS always delivers late in the day though :-(
  9. That got a good laugh out of me
  10. Thank you for posting this. It's exactly what I needed right now.    Hilarious.
  11. Well thanks for finding out and clearing that up. I've been completely under the assumption it's the exact thing with different colored tips, just like someone else had mentioned. This was also what I was told when I had asked about the difference at a store.   Looks like I need to find some for my .40, cause right now I have ammo for zombie defense.
  12. Grabbed one, thanks.
  13. Let them come! Glad to see another company taking a stand.
  14. Same for me, I'd get one of each.   Also, that would be so danged awesome on a shirt!
  15. I've seen stuff like this pop up in my spam when I've checked to see if I've missed any important emails. It was really weird to see.
  16. Thanks for the link.   And thanks everyone else for adding some suggestions.
  17. Just checked back, out of stock already! Glad I got that order in!
  18. Is this list part of the packet of information I still have coming to me?
  19. I'm not sure what I'm looking for honestly. I'm mostly familiar with semiauto handguns. I've never owned, let alone fired, a revolver. I thought if I could find a Nagant it might be a cheap try it out gun. I just thought I'd see what suggestions were out there that wouldn't break the bank.
  20. The only thing I've seen is that they're running behind. Are you saying your order was missing some ammo or been charged and it's not shipped? I'm still waiting on an order to ship myself.
  21. Also these problems have made me start to investigate steel cased ammo. I've heard things back and forth about problems/no problems but I'm going to give it a go with some of my firearms. I've already tested out some of the aluminum cased blazer ammo in one of my handguns and it's performed fine. A cheap, but dirty, alternative.
  22. Anything I should be looking into or watching out for?   I see there's thing like the Nagant Revolver out there on places like AIM Surplus that are extremely cheap, but I hear the ammo is extremely expensive/hard to come by.   I'd probably pick one up just because it is so cheap sometime... but are there any others I should watch out for? Any "mosins" of handguns?
  23. Definitely have to buy in bulk to make shipping worth it. For me SGAmmo has fair shipping prices and TargetSportsUSA has free shipping on all bulk ammo purchases, which really helps out.
  24. Well, all I can say is I'm glad I took advantage of bulk ammo deals online, even when I wasn't able to shoot. I'm fortunate to have several thousand rounds of .22, about a thousand .40, and a few thousand .380. Plus a few boxes of .45 and 9mm. I bought all of these pre-insanity.   I know it's costly for some to do that online, if they can even find it. I've checked out Walmart every time I've been in there and there's never been any handgun ammo. Just a smattering of rifle rounds and shotgun shells.   The ammo scarcity has made me rethink certain purchases of firearms and things such as a membership to the VOW range. What good is a membership if I run out of ammo to shoot? I could always go there and make "bang bang" noises.   *SGAmmo seems to have been pretty reliable in getting various rounds in for those that might be interested. They just sell out VERY quick.
