    Ruger SR22

I saw this this morning as the GunBlast YouTube channel had a video up on it. I wish this had been out a few months ago when I was trying to decide on a .22 pistol! I picked up a Walther P22 and I've loved it. Haven't had the first issue but I'd certainly love a Ruger .22 Can't wait to see more reviews on it.
  6. Thank you. I felt these questions may be stupid or commonly known but I genuinely have no idea. It'll be the first time I go out to shoot anything that's not a practice target.
  7. As a surprise, which I found out about , a friend is taking me coyote hunting. I don't have questions about hunting them but on a few other things that he was unsure about when I asked. We'll be going out on someones property and they will be with us the whole time. Do I need a small game license to do this since it's on someones property? My next question for him was am I allowed to carry a handgun and rifle at the same time? He said he didn't think so but wasn't sure. If it matters I do NOT currently have a CCW permit but would obviously only be carrying it loaded while there. There was a third question... but it eludes me right now. If I figure it out I'll post and ask. Thanks guys.
  8. I stepped into Volunteer Ordinance Works this afternoon with a friend to have a look around as I've become fond of doing there lately and noticed the counters were wiped out. I was thinking hmm... Heavy duty cleaning or one heck of a sale... Lol The guy at the counter mentioned they take their wares to a gun show in Knoxville so I guess this was the one he was referring to. Sadly that kind of ruined my browsing experience but I'm sure I'd have had a blast if I could have gotten to Knoxville!
  9. lol very funny
  10. Would be nice to see that in more places!
  11. Wow! First time I've seen a map like that before. It's one thing to see news articles but seeing it like that puts it in a whole new perspective.
  12. I ended up quitting but yes I was actually part of the first group of temps brought in. I LOVED the work, but for me they didn't know if they were coming or going. Heck, the first day I started I got training for work in a specific area. The next day I'm working somewhere where I've not had the tiniest bit of training and expected to just figure it out pretty much. Things like that were a constant problem. I felt like I did more wandering around than working honestly. I'd be told to go do something, soon as I go to do it I'd be told to go off and do something else. When I could actually get a task, work on it, and concentrate on it I was the happiest guy in the world. But it felt like that rarely happened. I never expected to get on if I stayed anyways, but it was good extra money working two full time jobs I miss that now due to my firearm addicton... Lol.
  13. Hello there
  14. When I worked for Amazon during orientation and plastered right on the door was the fact they allowed no weapons, which I reckon is no surprise. As far as my current job I honestly am not sure, though I'm going to assume no it's not allowed.
  15. that's gorgeous
  16. Maybe the best Christmas present ever congrats
  17. Wow. What a way to begin Christmas. I tend to avoid Chattanooga unless there's a shop I need to visit for something or Riverbend. A perfect example of why to carry though. If anyone gets anymore information please throw it up. I turned off cable TV years ago so I'm a little slower on getting news.
  18. Wow very nice I keep eyeballing these and thinking about getting one. I'm sure you'll have a blast with it!
  19. Thanks guys. I've been loving all my guns but especially my .22s because those I can afford to shoot! haha Merry Christmas to everyone.
  20. I came across this forum when I was trying to educate myself on conceal carry holsters. I'm not your typical member I reckon. I only grew up watching shows about guns like Shooting USA, some hunting shows, and so forth and didn't fire a gun until I was about 16. I was actually a member of the NRA long before I owned a firearm. I didn't own my first one until about 2009 when I decided to buy a shotgun for skeet. It mostly sat around since I didn't have the money or friends to go shooting with but over the past year that's changed. I've started to go shooting with friends and learning some of the things I wish I had learned as a kid. I've started to acquire more guns as well. So far I have a Ruger P345 .45 and within the past two months a Ruger 10/22, a Walther P22, Sig Sauer SP 2340 .40, and a Mosin Nagant 91/30. Here's a photo I actually took today at the Sumac Creek shooting range. I've resized it some, hopefully it's allowable and doesn't break anything due to size. I'm hoping to keep learning and acquiring more firearms. My next goal is my friend and I going to get our CCW permits at the beginning of the year so training and learning will take on a much bigger role. It seems like this could be the place to come for questions and knowledge. I live in Cleveland and I'm going to try and find some information on gaining membership at the Cleveland Hunting Rifle and Pistol Club. Driving to GA to shoot is a long drive. So far my biggest problem is this is becoming and expensive hobby very quickly.
