  1. I'm one of those Thanks for posting it Charles, I'll be giving it a read here shortly :)
  2. This is another one of those things where I've had everyone I ask tell me something different. I've been told you can't even keep the magazine in the gun, even empty, for transporting.
  3. Made a call to Fugate's today and got me and my other two friends in the February 10th class. If anyone else will be going let me know so I can say hello.
  4. Thanks. I'll give them a call tomorrow.
  5. Well, I've decided I'm going to take my severance money and do it anyways Does Fugate's have a website or can someone give me a phone number for them? Thanks a lot.
  6. Sorry to hear that happened.
  7. I, for the mean time, am employed by Food Lion for the next two, maybe three, weeks as a Produce Assoc. I also worked for Amazon on the side for a short time as well. Probably the least impressive job out of everyone
  8. Hahaha nice work
  9. So It's fine for you to play a game with gore, nonstop cursing, and guns blazing everwhere, but you're not allowed a little picture..... That's why I'm a PC Gamer.

    Shotgun Newb

Very fuzzy memory... thank goodness for google Wouldn't you want to use something like this instead of just bird shot? http://www.winchester.com/Products/New-Products/Pages/pdx1-410.aspx Seems like that would put a hurting on someone. I honestly never saw this gun as a home defense type firearm but maybe something you'd use at extreme close ranges, like a firearm to keep in you car if someone was attempting to attack you while you were in it.
  11. Well guys, not a concern anymore as I've found out I'm now unemployed, well, in thirty days anyways. I do appreciate it though.
  12. Oooh, I don't think I was clear I just realized on the "how long does it take" part. Hmm, how to word this I was wondering how long your training/class is valid for for you to go and apply for your permit. One of my friends may not be able to go and get it right away was why I was asking.
  13. Volunteer doesn't yet. I was told around March they would start doing them. I reckon after they get that new range in I found this on the TN.gov website. Applicant shall submit proof of the successful completion of a department approved Handgun Safety Course within the past six (6) months. So I guess that answers my question, 6 months?
  14. Anyone taken a class in Cleveland or the surrounding areas and have a recommendation? Me and two other friends plan on going together to get ours. Also how long do you have after taking the class to get your permit? I've heard a few different answers.
  15. Thank you for the awesome offer! Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  16. I feel it does. I don't have to zoom in, wait for the phone to lag around, hit the wrong button, wait for graphics to load, paused etc. Very nice and smooth surfing experience right now. Give the free version a go. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  17. First time using this tapatalk but it seems pretty nice. Easy to navigate around the forums, read, and make replies. I'd recommend it so far. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  18. A friend told me they just moved locations. How true this is I can't tell you. http://www.vowguns.com/ There's the website. Will have their location. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  19. I thought I'd search to see if there was a thread on BSS before I made one. I hope it's ok to pop in here and ask this. My experience with Benton Shooters has been mixed. Friendly folks, but constantly issues with the firearms I've bought there. To be fair, it's only been three, but it doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth. I've bought two floor guns and one I had specially ordered. My first gun purchase, a Beretta Xtrema 2 and after that a Walther P22 I purchased were both missing items. My Ruger 10/22 I had them order for me is the only gun I've not had an issue with. They also seems to be much higher priced for the longer drive out there. I do love the selection and layout but it hardly seems worth the annoyance and hassle. I talked to someone about this, they said yes it's higher, but it's all about being able to tell people you "bought it from Benton Shooters". Am I the only one to have issues with my purchases there? I know they're few, but to me that shows a trend. I personally have just found out about Volunteer Ordinance Works maybe about a month and a half ago. Nowhere near the selection but the staff I've met is very friendly and helpful, prices seem respectable (to me) and it's a heck of a lot closer for me. I've only made two firearm purchases so far but I've not had the first issue with those purchases. My only problem is forgetting that they attend gun shows and they wipe the shop out of product
  20. I saw someone using something called Smoke Signals? I'm not sure if that was a joke by the user or an actual app. If anyone knows I'd be curious as to what that is. An android market search came up with nothing for me. So far the only thing I had seen was Tapatalk and I'm glad for the heads up on the free older version. I like to try something before I buy it.

    Skyrim

I will never... look at dragons the same again... I was working a lot when it came out and with all the games out like Saints Row 3 and Battlefield 3 to name just a few, it was hard to play them all. I'm slowly working my way through them now though I've not been powering through the main quest but just kind of jumping around everywhere just enjoying the game. I love just walking around exploring and finding random things. I keep thinking about how I'd love to do a second play through, but I can't even finish a first one yet lol. I'm glad there are people around here who enjoy gaming as well.
  22. Aww Now that's an awesome commercial haha.
  23. I'm looking forward to their reply, if there is one that's not corporate
  24. Aren't there those little tabloid magazines at stores that predict the world is ending every year?
