  1. That's pretty cool
  2. Very nice! +1 on the range report
  3. HK45C, 8+1 230 grain HST, 35.5oz.
  4. Any of you with guns in hand able to compare it to the P30?
  5. $719 is the VP9's msrp. Not sure what the going street price is, haven't seen one in the wild yet, but they can be found online for around $600. Haters are always gonna hate I guess
  6. I love the Bourne movies followed by Talladega Nights and Anchorman
  7. Fine looking pup!
  8. Haven't seen any yet, haven't been by Franklin gun shop in a few weeks though. I figure they'd show up there or guns and leather first. We made the trip to gander the week they opened, saw a used, beat to death USP 45 for either 750 or 799! Highway robbery as my dad says
  9. Check out the HK45C and the USP 45C, both can be had with the LEM trigger in various weights of trigger pull.
  10. At first I was more self conscious than anything. Eventually, like everyone else has said, you realize just how much people are in their own little world and really pay you no attention.
  11. Ahh thanks, baby steps I guess
  12. I thought that bill got shelved
  13. Maybe a stupid question but is the event posted?
  14. MSRP is $719, have read reports of others placing orders from online retailers for less than $600 shipped.
  15. I've never shot a striker fired pistol and particularly liked it, but may have to give this one a try. I really liked the grip of the P30 but was never able to shoot it well. The trigger reset is much longer than the USP/HK45 (which I shoot very well) series which caused issues. It seems well priced to.   http://www.gandrtactical.com/images/archive/HK/VP9%20Product%20Sheet%20JUNE.pdf
  16. Hadn't thought of that, good point.
  17. No alcohol, just sweet tea for me when out and about.
  18. The wife and I went to a nice outdoor wedding in the country over the weekend as guests of the bride. Halfway through the reception the brides mom comes up and asks if i was carrying, to which i answered I was. She knows us well and wasn't bothered by it but when we asked how she knew she said another guest pointed it out to her and asked if I was the security! (open bar, security is required) We all shared a good laugh and then I asked who noticed? To our suprise it was an employee of a well known lgs in the Franklin area! At the time I didn't think much of it but as time has passed the more it bothers me. Am I overreacting or was that a dick move? Worth mentioning the only visual clue was crossbreed clips.
  19. The HK45/45c line is really working well for me right now. Love the mag release, they point so naturally and are boringly accurate and reliable.
  20. I'll echo what most have already said, most will never notice, or know what it is if they do. My eyes were drawn right to only because i've been wearing the same thing for the past 8 months. The only person who has spotted me knew what it was by the cross on the clip. Needless to say, he is one of us.  My not so slim and trim physique along with darker colored shirts do a really nice job of hiding bulges.
  21. Went yesterday, found a decently priced HK mag and bought it. Enjoyed walking around and fondling future must haves! Missed david's booth though.
  22. Very nice!
  23. planning on going Saturday to, can't wait!

    Season 4

I'm glad to see Rick found not only Daryl and the other group but also his balls. I'm sorry but Carl has got to go.
