  1. My wife heads up the catering division of a Nashville area restaurant. Caterings have been cancelling every day since last week. Understandably so. That is 6 to 8 people who aren't getting any hours at all.
  2. I was looking forward to going this year too. It's really the only time I'm ever able to look through scopes before purchasing. Next year is in Houston, then Louisville and then Indy. Maybe 2024?
  3. Aero Precision showed off their new 9mm upper and lower receivers at shot show. Looks like it will be available as a complete carbine or upper/lower separate to build off of. The lower takes glock mags and the upper has last round bolt hold open. I'm looking forward to getting a closer look at the NRA show in a few months.
  4. Call outpost armory, I think I saw a few on the wall a few weeks ago.
  5. Talk about Nascar loosing touch with its fan base...
  6. If there is any way you could up you budget slightly, the Colt CM762 seems like a very solid option at a good price.
  7. We're on our way up today. #DraftDodger

    LMT AR-10

I bought a LMT MWS a few years ago. The monolithic upper/quick change barrel are fantastic. I just wish I had access to a range longer than 100 yards and a scope to do it justice.
  9. Outpost had some on the wall the weekend before Christmas. First impressions were very good. I'm hoping a razor 1-8 in first focal plane makes its way to market.
  10. Looking forward to some feedback of how the show was today.
  11. surrWe are looking at having a metal garage built to house a mower and a few other items, maybe 24x20. Looking for any feedback for any local companies in the Murfreesboro and surrounding area you would recommend either for or against.
  12. Thinking about going Saturday. I haven't been to one in the new location and wonder if it's worth the price of admission.

    USP9 or MK25

Having spent time with a USP 9 with a match trigger, if I was starting from scratch I'd pick up either the USP9 expert or the USP9 tactical instead. Both come with match triggers.
  14. The p365 hasn't been on my radar at all to be honest, but after holding on today at the NRA show it definitely got my attention. That capacity in such a small package was pretty cool.
  15. Donated to the ILA and renewed our memberships
  16. Are you able to tell how the gas block is attached? Looking forward to a range report.
  17. There's a lot of good options out there nowadays. One combo that hasn't been brought up yet is the P30sk and P30L pair. Being able to get them in either da/sa or LEM combined with HK's reliability makes them an attractive option.
  18. Thanks Ronald!
  19. I've got an older Savage model 116 I'm trying to identify and determine a value for. It is a pre-accutriger model with an internal box magazine. It has a wooden stock and a stainless barrel. Any help would be much appreciated.

    M1a or ar10

Maybe keep an eye out for a used LMT MWS
  21. I haven't used any of their 7.62 mags yet but their 5.56 translucent mags have been 100% reliable. It was my understanding that the Lancer mags followed the same sr25 magazine pattern as the magpul pmags. I may be wrong on this though.

    AR itch (again)

Currently I think one of the best values is going to be LWRCI's new DI rifle. I've seen them for 1099. For that price you're getting a upper tier rifle for around mid tier pricing. BCM and Daniel Defense also put out a very good product at a reasonable price. Depending on who you talk to, Colt's quality control has gone downhill recently. What is your budget?
  23. May I ask why? I've got a SSA in my 16" ar and I really like it. I don't think I'd want to go any lighter (ssa-e) on anything that may be used for self defense though. FWIW, the sd-c is a SSA with a flat trigger and the sd-e is a SSA-E with a flat trigger.
