  4. Ok-I just bought a Savage 116 rifle.  I would like to exchange the stock for one that would have an adjustable check weld/pull length and ability to add a bipod.  I have done some checking online and have found stocks that claim to fit this rifle, but I don't want to buy something and be stuck after the fact because I am buying out of ignorance.   Do any of you guys have a brand preference on these types of stocks and could confirm a model matching what I am looking for that would be suitable for my rifle??  Thanks for the info guys...
  5. Just came across this: http://poorrichardsnews.com/post/66147670022/supreme-court-grills-obama-admin-over-using   Appears that this case decision could have some serious implications on how the Gov't can use international laws to prosecute Americans
  6. I am sitting on pins and needles myself wondering how my insurance will be affected once the employer mandate kicks in....I am already paying about $400.00 for 4 people under my current insurance...if I lose it and have to pay more, I am going to be seriously pissed...I have been sitting and watching/reading various news sources and seeing reports of people losing their coverage and am amazed that BHO and the liberal media continue to act as if this was the plan all along...god help us
  7. The issue is not regulation to keep firearms out of the hands of mentally ill or felons that is the problem as those laws are already in place. I also dont think our founders would take issue with those regulations. The problem is that most gun control does not prevent gun crime. Gun control hampers the law abiders ability to freely exercise their rights and to have access to arms and accessories that pretty much any company in the industry would deem as standard and commonplace....

    S&W Shield 9mm

I got mine from 44mag a couple of days ago...I ordered from S&W myself back in September and still havent gotten them...I am keeping the order open only so I can surprise myself when they show up 6 months from now... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  9. I tend to disagree with open carry myself only because you are increasing the chance of creating this type of situation as previously stated. Hate to be judgemental but I feel like most of the people that are open carrying do so because they WANT the attention. That, IMHO, is the wrong reason to carry a firearm... 11. since the libertarian candidate received those votes, then by your logic more than likely those voters would have chosen to sit this election out rather than waste their vote on a candidate they didn't agree with (the republican)if that candidate had not run for office.  that being the case, the republican still would have lost...as has been stated, most people who identify as libertarian only agree with the fiscal conservatism of the republican party, not the social conservatism...   I wasted my vote in '08 and '12 to take one for the team and put the lesser of two evils in office....never again will I settle....that in my opinion is a bigger waste
  12. I bought an Arsenal a few weeks back but havent had the ability to shoot it yet....although I could probably go to South Memphis and shoot it if the itch got too bad.... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

  15. The fox news article linked by Oh Shoot specifically identifies areas where critics believe the EO will allow an imbalance of the govt checks system. Notably are witholding funds from state/local govts that refuse to comply with policies and making changes to land use and resource policies. Unless Congress uses specific language that allows these changes to be enacted at the executive level without further congressional approval, those changes cannot be made. That is in effect creating or adding to legislstion, which the executive branch has no Constitutional authority to perform. That is one of the biggest issues I've had with this president; he wants to act unilaterally without Congressional approval rendering our form of govt useless. He wasnt lying when he said he wanted to fundamentally change America...and we are just letting it happen... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  16. I am on my phone and unable to reasearch right now but you can google the EO # and read it ...if someone would be kind and post the link...I found the transcript that was posted earlier from PBS to be a little difficult to follow... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

  19. I remember reading somewhere about how the EPA has seized regulatory powers that it was not granted back in tbe 60s and 70s by Congress but I cant remember the exact source...that reading went into detail of how Congress basically "allows" the executive branch latitude of enforcement but that latitude over time has extended into basically legislating and adding powers that do not exist under the original bills or acts as passed by Congress... 20. I am not a sheep and vote my conscience, which is usually a libertarian candidate...I was simply reflecting on how corrupted the 2 party system is, not whining as you seem to have interpreted. ... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  21. Not sure if this was already posted earlier this year but thought it was nice to see TN in the top 10 for a good thing for a change http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/28/here-are-the-10-freest-states-in-the-u-s-and-the-least/ Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  22. Site your source. I am by no means a racist, but I am prejudiced toward all people regardless of color, who isn't? Past experiences make all people wary of others until they get to know the individual personally. To touch on a quote in the OP regarding whites not having to deal with racism daily; what do you call having someone predetermine who you are and what your actions will be based on some BS claim that you walk around with a silver spoon in your mouth because you are white? Is that not "reverse racism?" This "WHITE GUILT" mentality is pushed by the liberals and most MSM on a daily basis so how do whites not deal with rasicm daily?? I am tired of this blame someone else and entitlement mentality....some people is this country need to put on their big boy pants and take a dose of grow the hell up...
