  1. Welcome. What part of Illinois?
  2. I think it's pronounced Guys-Lee.
  3. Find someone who's good with Photoshop and have the put you one together.
  4. I agree. The CMT upper was designed to compliment their lower. I was surprised to see so many buying only lowers.
  5. If you look at the way the CMT uppers and lowers are designed, you'll notice the lines and angles are sharper and modern looking. The other parts you are thinking about getting are rounded. I'm having a difficult time imagining them meshing together.
  6. Not only will it not look correct, but it will look weird, like it was just thrown together with whatever parts were available. In the end, it's your build. Whatever floats your boat.
  7. I should feel guilty for laughing. He can count himself lucky that it wasn't a couple inches lower.
  8. Glad you made it, Dan. Jump right in. You probably shouldn't have told them that you know me. Lots of very knowledgeable folks around here. Don't be shy.
  9. I almost went with them. I went with the other guys because they were in Kentucky. The prices are about the same. Hopefully I don't regret going with them. If all else fails, I'll try to sell it and try those guys. Mind taking a pic or two of yours?
  10.
  11. See the barrels.
  12. Always had good luck from Bud's.
  13. No, it was my bad. I guess I somehow missed your second sentence.
  14. Take a closer look at the barrels.
  15. I wouldn't have accepted delivery.
  16. According to the Port Authority spokesperson, He walked directly to the counter and told them he needed to check in the guns. He was not trying to slip though undetected. He simply failed to understand and follow the gun laws within the states he was traveling.
  17. One of the news article said the numbers were considered "defaced" because they had been painted over, making them difficult or impossible to read. The numbers were not removed, according to the article.
  18. What is up with the mag well on that silver AR looking thing?
  19. Glad to hear this. I've never ordered anything from them, but I had good luck with MAS Defense, so figured I'd try my luck with another company I'd not heard of.
  20. I have the S4 through Sprint. I just checked, and I don't have any software updates available.
  21. If you are anywhere within a reasonable distance of Nashville, scheduled your class on almost any Friday, Saturday or Sunday, and I'll be glad to see to it that you get where you need to be.
