1. My first visit to Gander Mountain was my last. Gander stays in business for much of the same reasons as The Outpost Armory and Franklin Gun Shop. They generally have an impressive inventory, and it seems there's never a shortage of buyers who are willing and able to spend more money than necessary. Admittedly, I'm not a frequent visitor of the three locations I've mentioned, but I don't recall seeing much of anything in any of them that I couldn't easily find cheaper, even locally. I've always been willing to pay a premium for hard to find items, but I can't bring myself to do the same for something that can be found at most other local and online retailers.
2. I met and visited with Ken at the last Murfreesboro show. He's a super nice guy.
3. That's true, but I find that to be the case at many retail stores. I'm the type that does my research before I step foot in the store, so I am able to limit my interaction with the employees.
4. What did you hit? The ICC bumper on a semi trailer?
5. Ain't that the truth. No only that, but as we were being told our economy was a the verge of a complete meltdown and no one had any money to spend, you still couldn't find a parking space at the mall.
6. I didn't, but a friend called me from there this morning. He picked up a complete upper and a few other parts for his AR build. He said it was packed, and a ton of tables.
7. Was finally delivered.
8. You'll be doing yourself a disservice. Academy is a great store.
9. As frustrating as it may be for the employees, It wasn't meant as an excuse. I was more or less typing out loud.
10. Sadly, their phones have probably been ringing a million times a day for the last year, with calls from everyone and their brother looking for. 22 ammo. They have likely become deaf to the sound.
11. Yeah, as soon as he made the comment about KKK, I had to research that. He was clearly stretching.
12. I'm 3/4 of the way through the full version. I have found it worth watching.
13. If anyone cares, here's the full version.
14. While my tracking info had today as the scheduled delivery date, it was a no-show. USPS customer service said there is no guaranteed delivery date on 1st class mail. Maybe tomorrow.
15. Welcome to TGO.
16. Wahlberg is a good dude. His best interviews are on Howard Stern.
17. Huh? I ordered long before that, and mine isn't scheduled for delivery until tomorrow.
18. If we were to stop buying stuff from those who stepped out on their wife to bang some trashy skank, we probably wouldn't own much of anything. With that being said, I'm not sure what else can tastefully be done to the 1911 or AR that hasn't already been done. We shall see.
19. Dailycurrant.com is satire. They are doing a great job, because people are constantly falling for their fake news stories.
20. I do believe you are too late. At least one person has already sold his, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some of them for sale in the future.
21. This happened at the McDonald's in Covington, TN on Highway 51.

23. Got my shipping notification.
24. I've never had a problem with them. Like most gun shops in Kentucky, their prices are hard to beat.
25. I'll have to keep that in mind. I don't know much about cameras.
